Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to assist in assisting the preparation of budgets and the realization of the construction of a multi-purpose room that will be used for the public interest of RT. 02 residents of Rawa Mekar Jaya village, Serpong District, South Tangerang, Rawa Mekar Jaya Village was chosen as a partner for community service activities due to the lack of knowledge and supervision of residents in the neighborhood towards budgeting for certain public facility projects. Based on initial observations to partners conducted by direct visits, the main problem lies in the absence of budgeting experts who do not participate in the budgeting of multi-purpose rooms. Meanwhile, public facility projects such as multi-purpose rooms must be planned carefully and accurately because they are related to the rights and interests of all residents. The method that will be used in this community service activity is assistance through training/socialization regarding offline and online budgeting.  Through this community service activity, it is hoped that public facilities in the form of a multipurpose room for RT. 02 residents of Rawa Mekar Jaya Village can be built with the right, efficient and accurate budget. Thus, it is hoped that in the future the function room can be useful and used for the common interests of local residents.

Abstract

The strategic role of salespeople in achieving success in selling company products cannot be underestimated. Improving the performance of salespeople is crucial, with the hope that it can make a significant contribution to increasing sales volume and achieving predetermined goals. The focus of this community service activity is to provide assistance to business owners so that they have a deep understanding of sales force performance measurement methods, enabling business owners to optimize their sales. The partner selected for this community service project is a honey business with the brand "Madu Pakcik" located in Jambi. Initial observations of the partner showed a major problem related to sales force performance measurement in the context of partner sales. Therefore, this PKM activity is implemented through an online training method using the Zoom Meeting platform. This training aims to provide partners with a comprehensive understanding of the key aspects of measuring sales force performance. Hopefully, with the knowledge gained through this activity, partners can significantly improve the quality and number of their sales. In addition to providing training, this activity also produces outputs in the form of scientific publications submitted to relevant journals as well as Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Thus, this project not only has an impact on improving partner performance in practical terms, but also contributes to scientific knowledge and innovation in the field of sales force performance measurement.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is one way that is considered powerful enough for people to live independently and survive in the midst of difficult situations like this. Entrepreneurship is important for an individual as a provision for a future that will be faced with intense competition and challenges. More than that, entrepreneurship is also important for an individual to optimize his ability and financial independence. In line with this, there is a need for early entrepreneurship training to community groups, especially children. Underprivileged orphans are no exception. Most orphans have difficulty accessing education and skills training. Therefore, this training activity is aimed at orphans managed by the Yauma Orphanage Foundation in West Bekasi. Especially, for those who are already in high school / MA. The aim is to prepare them to live independently after being released from the foundation. This training is conducted through online media. The PKM Entrepreneurship material consists of: the basics of entrepreneurship, starting a business with light capital, and utilizing gadgets as support for entrepreneurial activities. This activity went well and smoothly, participants assessed that all material delivery could be understood, participants could also know and understand well what entrepreneurship is, the capital needed.

Abstract

In a competitive business era, sales skills are crucial for every salesperson to face market competition. This article discusses the importance of an in-depth understanding of the goods or services sold by the company as well as expertise in applying effective sales techniques. The main focus is on the role of the salesperson in optimizing the sales of services and goods. This research was conducted with the aim of helping business owners, particularly in the culinary industry in Jambi, to improve their understanding and skills in sales techniques. The method used involved training and socialization to business partners, covering in-depth introduction to product offering techniques, handling buyer rejection, and coping strategies.The results of the research activities showed that the training provided significantly improved the partners' sales technique skills. Business partners were able to optimize their skills in selling products to end consumers. In addition, the partners' active participation in the training process was reflected in the two-way discussion between the research team and business partners. The enthusiasm shown by the partners in receiving the training materials confirmed the success of the activities in having a positive impact on the partners' sales skills. This research provides an important contribution for business owners, especially in the culinary sector, in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of sales techniques

Abstract

Kepemimpinan sangat penting dalam bisnis karena dengan adanya kepemimpinan dapat membentuk dan mempengaruhi perilaku kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Kepemimpinan yang baik dibentuk dari pemimpin yang bijak dalam merencanakan dan memecahkan suatu persoalan yang timbul dalam perusahaan. Suatu Kepemimpinan baik mampu membentuk dan meningkatkan efikasi diri baik individu maupun tim hingga menjadi pondasi kepemimpinan yang berhasil, mampu memberikan arahan positif bagi karyawannya serta membawa perusahaan menuju kesuksesan. hal ini akan diterapkan melalui Praktik Kepemimpinan kewirausahaan. Mitra kegiatan bergerak dalam usaha kuliner yang berlokasi di Jambi. Dalam kegiatan nya menghadap masalah terutama dalam hal kepemimpinan kewirausahaan . PKM bertujuan membantu mitra dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan tentang model kepempinan yang mampu meningkatkan perilaku kerja yang inovatif. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan pelatihan terkait dengan kepemimpinan dan perilaku kerja inovatif. Pelatihan dilakukan secara daring. Kegiatan pelaksanaan PKM telah dilakukan dan berjalan lancar. Materi yang disajikan dalam bentuk PPT meliputi pemahaman kepemimpinan kewirausahan, bentuk perilaku terkait kepemimpinan kewirausahaan dilakukan secara daring, dibantu 2 mahasiswa. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan, masalah yang muncul pada usaha mitra akan teratasi, mitra dapat meningkatkan perilaku kerja inovatif dalam menghasilkan produk dengan lebih inovatif. Luaran PKM berupa publikasi ke jurnal dan HKI.

Abstract

The primary objective of this community service initiative is to augment public comprehension and awareness, particularly among business entities and stakeholders associated with State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), regarding the regulations governing fair and robust business competition. The overarching goal is to stimulate greater adherence to these regulations and foster transparency in the operational practices of BUMNs. Through these endeavors, we aim to pinpoint and address challenges inherent in business competition practices, ultimately fostering an environment conducive to innovation and sustainable economic development. The methodology employed in this community service involves the orchestration of a comprehensive series of workshops. These workshops serve as a platform for disseminating knowledge on fair and healthy business competition regulations, elucidating best practices in the synergies of State-Owned Enterprises, and facilitating discussions on compliance and transparency. By creating an open forum for dialogue and learning, participants are equipped with the tools and insights needed to navigate the intricacies of business competition regulations effectively. The tangible outcomes of this community service initiative are multifaceted. Firstly, there is a discernible enhancement in public understanding and awareness of the regulatory framework governing fair and healthy business competition.

Abstract

Child stunting is a condition of chronic malnutrition that occurs due to long-term inadequate food intake. Stunting not only affects physical growth, but also becomes a problem that makes children more vulnerable to infection. One of the causes of stunting is a lack of maternal knowledge. Maternal understanding of child nutrition is very important in preventing stunting. Based on data fro the Ministry of Health announced the results of the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) at the BKKBN National Work Meeting, where the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia fell from 24.4% in 2021 to 21.6% in 2022. The purpose of this activity is to increase public knowledge in preventing stunting as early as possible. The method used in this activity was carried out during the implementation of community service by counseling the local community at Posyandu Lavenda in the working area of the Kenali Besar Health Center, Jambi City. Based on the results of these activities, all participants were very enthusiastic about the counseling and proactive health workers took preventive actions related to the causes of stunting and prevent stunting in children as early as possible.

Abstract

Business capital management is one of the main factors that affect productivity in obtaining planned results or outputs. Every MSME must develop its competitive advantage to survive and advance its MSMEs. The level of effectiveness of the use of business capital is very important for the growth and sustainability of MSMEs. If MSMEs lack business capital to expand sales and increase production, they are likely to lose revenue and profits. The size of a capital depends on the type of business it is running, and generally the community recognizes the types of micro, small, medium and large businesses, where each of these types of businesses requires different capital and within certain limits. Every MSME has a main objective, namely MSMEs have the aim of obtaining maximum profit. Therefore, business capital must be managed as effectively as possible so that the profitability of MSMEs can be increased. This PKM activity was carried out for Gading Bersinar Depok MSME players. The existence of this PKM activity is expected that MSME players can find out the development of their business and can manage business capital to support the progress of MSMEs in Gading Bersinar Depok

Abstract

Health problems arising from the use of drugs, such as lack of knowledge, misuse, side effects, and circulation of counterfeit drugs, are the focus of public attention. In this context, this study is seen as an effort to improve the understanding of the community, especially the patients of PKU Muhammadiyah Wonosobo Hospital, regarding drug management through the implementation of the DAGUSIBU program. The research method applied was pre-test post-test group design, where the DAGUSIBU counseling session was conducted on December 13, 2023, attended by 127 outpatients. The success of this activity was reflected in the high level of interest and enthusiasm of the participants towards the DAGUSIBU material, which included basic principles such as how to obtain, use, store, and dispose of medicines properly. The counseling process involved a series of activities, including a pre-test to assess participants' initial understanding, delivery of the DAGUSIBU materials, and a post-test to measure knowledge improvement. Data analysis showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, with a mean pre-test score of 36 increasing to 74 in the post-test. Statistical tests with paired t-test verified a significance of p=0.000 (p<0.05), confirming that the DAGUSIBU educational approach was successful in significantly improving respondents' knowledge. Thus, it can be concluded that the DAGUSIBU counseling at PKU Muhammadiyah Wonosobo Hospital was not only effective in improving participants' understanding of how to obtain, use, store, and dispose of medication, but also created a significant positive impact on overall medication management.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach because the approach can easily obtain in-depth information. The basic impetus for choosing this method is to answer the role of the Aiditel business unit in developing the economy of the boarding school, data collection techniques through interviews are the techniques used by the author to obtain existing information, and the results of this study are that over time seeing the needs of students and walisantri in communicating so that a telephone shop appears and then from the telephone shop it develops to provide stationery, and until now it continues to develop until the times also make this Aiditel wartel not only provide cellular phones and stationery but also provide video calls via WhatsApp, then the finances from the results of this business are reported regularly to the leadership of the boarding school, which will then be combined with cooperatives and other business units which will be managed directly by Mrs. Nyai for the needs of infrastructure and other needs.
