Abstract

Human resource planning (HR) is the first and strategic step in supporting the quality of the language excellence program at Nurul Jadid High School. This process involves analyzing human resources needs by identifying the number, type, and competencies needed to support the program. The main focus of this study is to ensure the existence of educators who have adequate language skills (Arabic, English, and Mandarin) and superior pedagogical skills. Human resource placement is an important stage in workforce management, especially in flagship programs such as the Language Program at Nurul Jadid High School. The evaluation of work values aims to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of educators in supporting language excellence programs. Structured assessment can provide valuable feedback for improvement

Abstract

Issues such as economic crisis, global warming, ideas of sustainability and governance have seen strong growth and improvement in the industry. The ESG (environmental, social, governance) index has attracted investors' attention to sustainable investment practices and measures the performance of companies' sustainability reports. Despite growing attention to environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices, little is known about the financial impact of poor social performance. Therefore, this research aims to highlight cases related to ESG controversies that occur in companies around the world. ESG controversies are defined as corporate ESG news such as suspicious social behavior and product defect scandals that put a company under the media spotlight and, furthermore, attract the attention of investors. This research aims to highlight cases related to ESG controversies that occur in companies throughout the world. To mitigate and avoid phenomena related to controversy, the role of business ethics is needed.

Abstract

Koperasi Mahasiswa (KOPMA) berfungsi sebagai wadah untuk mengembangkan potensi mahasiswa dan berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan bakat dan minat dalam berwirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perencanaan, organisasi, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan KOPMA dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kewirausahaan mahasiswa UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. Penelitian dilakukan di UIN KHAS Jember yang berlokasi di Jl. Mataram No.1, Karang Miuwo, Mangli, Kecamatan Kaliwates, Kabupaten Jember, dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa perencanaan strategis menekankan pada pengembangan minat kewirausahaan mahasiswa melalui pelatihan industri kreatif, seperti pembuatan karangan bunga, studi bisnis, dan kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan eksternal. Struktur yang terorganisir dengan divisi seperti PSDA, Usaha, dan INFOKOM memfasilitasi pelaksanaan program yang efektif, dengan fokus pada pelatihan, pemasaran produk, dan promosi. Implementasi program memanfaatkan sinergi lintas divisi, menggabungkan sistem point-of-sale, pemasaran digital, dan kolaborasi eksternal untuk meningkatkan keterampilan jaringan dan bisnis. Evaluasi dan pemantauan rutin memastikan efektivitas program, meningkatkan partisipasi, dan mendorong perbaikan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengadaan dan investasi teknologi informasi (TI) pada pengembangan aplikasi Contact Center Bravo Bea Cukai menggunakan metode Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). TOPSIS dipilih karena kemampuannya untuk memberikan evaluasi objektif dan kuantitatif dari berbagai alternatif investasi berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan, seperti kualitas, kompatibilitas, kinerja, dan pemeliharaan. Proses analisis melibatkan normalisasi data, penentuan bobot kriteria, dan perhitungan jarak setiap alternatif dari solusi ideal positif dan negatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode TOPSIS dapat membantu mengidentifikasi solusi terbaik yang memenuhi kebutuhan strategis dan operasional Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai, sehingga mendukung peningkatan efisiensi dan kualitas layanan publik.

Abstract

The free meal initiative in Indonesia aims to combat malnutrition and stunting. Introduction: This study explores the implementation of the free meal program at Pondok Pesantren Al-Quds. Purpose of the Study: To identify challenges and propose solutions for sustainable meal management. Objective of the Paper: To analyze financial, logistical, and nutritional issues while developing targeted interventions. Research Methodology: Utilizing the Design Thinking approach, qualitative data were gathered through interviews and surveys with 27 participants from the boarding school community. General Findings: Key challenges included financial instability, inconsistent meal quality, and the need for standardized meal management systems. Proposed solutions, such as an Excel-based budgeting tool and financial literacy training, aim to enhance the programs sustainability and effectiveness. The findings highlight the importance of structured management practices and community involvement in successfully implementing the free meal initiative.

Abstract

Transformasi digital adalah bagian penting dari strategi  Air New Zealand untuk menghadapi tantangan industri penerbangan global, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi seperti RFID, data besar, kecerdasan buatan (AI), dan sistem berbasis cloud. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan analisis kualitatif untuk menilai dampak inovasi tersebut terhadap efisiensi operasional, pengalaman pelanggan, dan keberlanjutan. Studi ini berfokus pada Airband, sebuah teknologi berbasis RFID untuk melacak anak-anak tanpa pendamping, meningkatkan keamanan dan memperkuat reputasi maskapai penerbangan sebagai pionir dalam inovasi. Analisis tersebut menemukan bahwa mengintegrasikan teknologi yang sejalan dengan pedoman keberlanjutan dapat mengotomatisasi proses, menurunkan biaya operasional, dan mengurangi emisi karbon. Namun, tantangan seperti ancaman teknologi disruptif, stagnasi fungsional, dan risiko keamanan data menjadi kekhawatiran utama. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa strategi digital Air New Zealand menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif melalui efisiensi layanan dan personalisasi, namun kesuksesan yang berkelanjutan bergantung pada terus beradaptasi dengan tren teknologi dan diperlukan inovasi manajemen risiko. Langkah-langkah ini menjadikan Air New Zealand sebagai panutan dalam penerapan teknologi untuk efisiensi dan keberlanjutan dalam industri penerbangan global.

Abstract

This study examines the failure of Washington Mutual (WaMu), one of the largest financial institutions in the United States, to maintain the product life cycle (PLC) of its products. Founded in 1889, Washington Mutual grew rapidly through aggressive expansion and a focus on the mortgage market. However, this strategy led to the accumulation of significant risks, primarily through exposure to subprime mortgages. The inability to manage these risks, combined with a lack of innovation in product development and adaptation to market changes, caused WaMu to lose its competitiveness. In addition, a less flexible business model and lack of service diversification reduced the relevance of WaMu's products in an increasingly competitive market. This study identified internal factors such as poor risk management, low operational efficiency, and failure to innovate, as well as external factors such as changing consumer preferences and pressure from competitors, as the main causes of WaMu's failure to maintain the sustainability of its products. In conclusion, Washington Mutual's failure to maintain the PLC cycle reflects the importance of strategic adaptation and continuous innovation in dealing with the dynamics of the banking industry.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine how tacit knowledge sharing directly and indirectly affects employee effectiveness in a public sector organization, focusing on the role of knowledge quality as a mediating factor. Empirical studies on the outcomes of tacit knowledge sharing remain limited, especially in a public sector organizational context. This cross-sectional study involved obtaining data from 145 healthcare professionals working in the Delta State Ministry of Health in Nigeria and subjecting this data to analysis using the partial least square method. The study found that tacit knowledge sharing and knowledge quality effects on employee effectiveness were positive and significant. Furthermore, knowledge quality mediated the significant and positive effect of tacit knowledge sharing on employee effectiveness. The study concluded that enhancing knowledge quality can achieve an optimal relationship between tacit knowledge sharing and employee effectiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan tinjauan literatur terhadap 10 artikel yang membahas hubungan antara modal manusia dan kinerja perusahaan di berbagai industri. Artikel-artikel ini berasal dari berbagai jurnal internasional terkemuka, yaitu Emerald dan ScienceDirect.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak pengelolaan modal manusia terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan menganalisis tujuan, metode, hasil, dan area penelitian dari artikel-artikel tersebut. Metode yang digunakan bervariasi, termasuk 8 metodelogi kuantitatif ,1 metodelogi kualitatif dan 1 metodelogi campuran. Hasil studi secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa praktik pengelolaan modal manusia yang efektif, seperti pelatihan, pengembangan, komitmen karyawan, dan kepemimpinan yang inovatif, memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja perusahaan.Indikator kinerja yang diukur meliputi retensi karyawan, pertumbuhan organisasi, efisiensi kerja, inovasi, dan keunggulan kompetitif.

Abstract

The global banking sector faces major challenges in improving organizational performance, especially in the face of technological change, consumer behaviour, and evolving market conditions, therefore, it is important to understand the factors that influence bank performance, to improve operational effectiveness and competitiveness This study aims to identify the main factors that influence organizational performance in the banking industry in several countries. This study adopted the literature research method by analysing 10 relevant scientific articles from 20 selected articles. The analysis focuses on organizational culture, intellectual capital, leadership, and strategic characteristics. Organizational performance in the banking sector is influenced by internal factors such as organizational culture, intellectual capital, leadership style, and strategic attributes, as well as external factors such as national culture and market conditions. Organizational culture that supports collaboration and innovation, and culturally appropriate leadership, contributes significantly to improving bank performance. Innovative organizational culture, efficient intellectual capital management, strategic attributes, and participative leadership contribute significantly to improving bank performance. These strategies need to be adapted to the national cultural context to ensure the sustainability of the banking sector.
