Abstract

PENGARUH  KONSENTRASI PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR SABUT KELAPA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL KACANG TANAH PADA TANAH GAMBUT Seriwati(1), Dwi Zulfita(2), Nurjani(2) (1) Mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian (2) Staf Pengajar Fakultas PertanianUniversitas Tanjungpura ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi pupuk organik cair sabut kelapa terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil kacang tanah pada tanah gambut. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari tanggal 15 Mei 2019 sampai dengan              15 Agustus 2019 di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Penelitian menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktor, yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dengan 5 ulangan dan tiap ulangan terdiri dari 4 tanaman sampel. Perlakuan yang dimaksud adalah k1 = 150 ml/liter air, k2 = 200 ml/liter air, k3= 250 ml/liter air, k4 = 300 ml/liter air, k5 = 350 ml/liter air. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini yaitu tinggi tanaman (cm), volume akar (cm3), berat kering tanaman (g), jumlah polong isi per tanaman (polong), berat kering polong isi per tanaman (g), jumlah biji per polong tanaman (biji), berat biji kering per tanaman (g), berat 100 butir biji kering (g). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian POC sabut kelapa pada berbagai konsentrasi berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan.Kata kunci: tanah gambut, pupuk organik cair, kacang tanah, sabut kelapa.

Abstract

Penyerapan logam berat oleh tanaman dapat dikurangi dengan penambahan amelioran seperti biochar tandan kosong kelapa sawit pada media tanam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan dosis biochar tandan kosong kelapa sawit yang terbaik bagi pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kailan dengan kandungan Pb yang rendah di dalam tanaman. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Pertanian Jalan Prof. Dr. Hadari Nawawi, berlangsung dari tanggal 1 Juli sampai dengan 29 Agustus 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) satu faktor, yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan yaitu (b0 = tanpa biochar, b1 = 38 g/polybag, b2 = 75g/polybag ,b3 = 113g/polybag , b4  = 150 g/polybag). Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali dan terdiri dari 3 sampel tanaman. Variabel pengamatan yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah jumlah daun, berat segar tanaman, volume akar,  luas daun, berat kering atas tanaman, berat kering akar tanaman, kadar klorofil daun, dan kandungan Pb pada daun kailan. Pemberian biochar tandan kosong kelapa sawit sebesar 12 ton/ha setara dengan 150 g/polybag merupakan dosis terbaik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kailan pada media campuran gambut dan lumpur kering, namun kandungan Pb pada bagian atas tanaman kailan berada di atas ambang batas SNI 7378 tahun 2009 sehingga tidak dapat dikonsumsi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT            Information about white shrimp stocks (Penaeus merguensis de Man) is still very minimal, especially in the waters of the Kakap River Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. This study aims to determine the stock of white shrimp caught in the Kakap River. The method used in sampling is swept area by determining the area of the trawl catching area and taking white shrimp samples 10% of the catch. Research in the field was carried out for 2 months, namely in May-June 2019. Based on the results of research that has been done, the area of trawl fishing gear swept area  reached 0,016 km2. White shrimp caught during the study were 530, of which there were 208 male and 322 females. The long distribution of white shrimp carapace observed during the study ranged from 12,64-41,72 mm, and weighed 1,16-11,45 grams. The length and weight relationship of male, female and combined white shrimp is negative allometric. White shrimp caught  in the Kakap River based on the K value obtained 1,2 results per year with an L∞ value of 21,48 mm male and a K value of 1,2 per year with an L∞ value of 30 mm female, while  the combined obtained a K value of 1,1 per year with L∞ 32,2 mm. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian biochar tongkoljagung terhadap unsur nitrogen dan mengetahui dosis optimum pemberian biochartongkol jagung untuk pertumbuhan sawi hijau pada tanah pasca tambang emas.Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 (enam)perlakuan dan ulangan sebanyak 3 (tiga) kali. Pengukuran parameter tanah adalah pHtanah, C-organik, N-total, kapasitas tukar kation dan kejenuhan basa. Pengukuranparameter tanaman adalah tinggi tanaman, bobot segar tanaman, panjang akartanaman, bobot akar tanaman. Hasil pengukuran parameter tanaman menunjukkanbahwa perlakuan bichar tongkol jagung pada tanah pasca tambang emas tidakberpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, bobot segar tanaman, panjang akar danbobot akar. Meskipun demikian terdapat peningkatan pada perlakuan dibandingkankontrol. Nilai rata-rata tertinggi untuk tinggi tanaman pada perlakuan B5 dengan nilai27,00 cm, bobot segar tanaman pada perlakuan B5 dengan nilai 4,42 gram, panjangakar pada perlakuan B5 dengan nilai 23,00 cm dan bobot akar pada perlakuan dengannilai 2,75 gram. Pemberian biochar tongkol jagung pada tanah pasca tambang emas tidak berpengaruh nyata pada N-total tanah. Perlakuan B3 dan B5 memiliki nilai rataratatertinggi setelah inkubasi dengan nilai 0,05% dan perlakuan B3 memiliki nilairata-rata tertinggi setelah tanam dengan nilai 0,06%.Kata kunci : Tanah pasca tambang Emas, Biochar, Sifat kimia, Sawi hijau,Monterado.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of corn cob compost application on the growth and yield of okra  in alluvial. This research was conducted from October 2018 to December 2018 in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method with one factor, which consisted of 5 treatments with 5 replications and each replication consisted of 4 sample plants. The treatment were is K1 = 6% corn cob compost or equivalent to 291 g / polybag, K2 = 8% corn cob compost or equivalent to 583 g / polybag, K3 = 10% corn cob compost or equivalent to 875 g / polybag, K4 = 12% of corn cobs compost or equivalent to 1,168 g / polybag and K5 = 14% corn cob compost or equivalent to 1,459 g / polybag. The variables observed in this study included root volume,leaf area, plant dry weight, flowering age, plant dry weight, number of fruits per plant and weight of fruit per plant. The results of the study showed that the application of corn cob compost at a dose of 10% or equivalent to 875 g / polybag was effective influence on the variables of root volume, leaf area, plant dry weight, flowering age, and fruit weight plant. Keywords: alluvial, compost, corn cob, okra

Abstract

Stingray is an important fisheries commodity in North Kayong. Continuous stingrays catching results in the extinction of several stingray species. This study was conducted to determine the species composition, index of species diversity, dominance, uniformity, abundance and conservation status of rays at Sukadana Fishing port, North Kayong Regency. The method used in this study was a descriptive survey. The results of the study found 291 individual stingrays consisting of 14 species and 2 families. The results showed that the highest relative abundance is the Telatrygon zugei species with a value of 0.213 and the lowest abundance of stingrays are the Neotrygon kuhlii species with a value of 0.007, the index of stingray diversity (H) 2,371 classified as moderate, the uniformity index (E) 0.898 classified as high, the dominance index (C) 0.003 classified as low. Based on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, there are 6 species of stingrays are included in the category of Vulnerable (VU), 4 species are in the category of Near Threatened (NT), 2 species are in the category of Not Evaluated (NE), and 2 species are in the category of Data Deficient (DD).

Abstract

This study aims to determined the best dosage of palm oil ash on the growth and yield of ciplukan plants in peat soil. This study was conducted from 8th March 2019 – 8th June 2019 in the Faculty of Agriculture’s experimental garden, Tanjungpura University, Pontianak. This study uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method by one factor oil palm ash treatment consisting of 5 treatment levels, with 5 replications and every treatment there are 4 plant samples, so there were 100 plants. This study has treatment such as: a1 = 10 tons/ha equivalent to 200 g/polybag, a2 = 15 tons/ha equivalent to 300 g/polybag, a3 = 20 tons/ha equivalent to 400 g/polybag, a4 = 25 equivalent to 500 g/polybag and a5 = 30 tons/ha equivalent to 600 g/polybag. The variables observed were plant height (cm), many of branches (branches), root volume (cm3), plant dry weight (g), number of fruits per plant (fruit) and weight of fruit per plant (g). The study  results show the of various dosage palm oil ash gave a significant effect on all variables. The best result dosage of palm oil ash  is 10 tons/ha equivalent to 200 g/polybag. Keywords: Ciplukan,Palm Oil Ash, Peat Soil

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Sepuk Tanjung Kecamatan Sebawi Kabupaten Sambas yang memiliki luas 20,416 km2. Desa ini merupakan wilayah pasang surut yang memeliki 4 tipe luapan, yakni tipe luapan A, tipe luapan B, tipe luapan C, dan tipe luapan D. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan sifat fisika tanah pada beberapa tipe luapan pada lahan pasang surut di Kecamatan Sabawi Kabupaten Sambas. Hasil dari penelitian  ini menunjukan kan. Rerata bobot isi tanah pada kedalaman 0-20 cm pada tipe luapan A 0,82 g/cm3, lahan pasang surut tipe luapan B 0,80 g/cm3, lahan pasang surut tipe luapan C 0,97 g/cm3, dan lahan pasang surut tipe D 0,87 g/cm3. Bobot isi pada kedalaman 20-40 cm pada tipe luapan A 0, 83 g/cm3, pada tipe luapan B 0, 85 g/cm3, pada tipe luapan C 1,01 g/cm3, dan pada tipe luapan D 0,92 g/cm3. Nilai rerata porositas total tanah pada kedalaman 0-20 cm pada lahan pasang surut tipe luapan A 59,36 %, tipe luapan B 61,18%, tipe luapan C 55,94%, tipe luapan D 61,44%. Rerata porositas total tanah pada kedalaman 20-40 cm pada lahan pasang surut tipe luapan A 59,43%, tipe luapan B 60,14%, tipe luapan C 50,35% dan tipe luapan D 56,67%. Kadar air kapasitas lapang pada kedalaman 0 – 20 cm terendah pada lokasi C 46,74 %vol, dan yang tertinggi pada lokasi B 61,09 %vol. rerata kadar air kapasitas lapangan kedalaman 20 – 40 cm nilai yang terendah terdapat pada lokasi C 51,19%vol, dan yang tertinggi pada lokasi A 62,,11 %vol. Nilai rerata kemantapan agregat tanah pada kedalaman 0 – 20 cm tertinggi pada tipe luapan B dan tipe luapan D sebesar 94,55 %, dan terendah pada tipe luapan A sebesar 87,27 % kemudian diikuti tipe luapan C 89,09 %. Pada kedalaman 20 – 40 cm nilai kemantapan agregat tertinggi pada tipe luapan A 92,73%, tipe luapan D 89,09%, dan terendah tipe luapan B dan tipe luapan C sebesar 80,00%.Kata kunci : lahan pasang surut, sifat fisika tanah, Inceptisols.

Abstract

The aims of the study were to determine the best concentration, frequency and interaction of apifflied paclobutrazol to Marigold plants on alluvial soil. This research was conducted on the land of farmers in Banjar Laut Village, Rasau Jaya 2 District, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan Province from February 10, 2018 to April 12, 2018. The experimental used in this research was Factorial Randomized Complete Design (RCD) field method. with 2 treatment factors. The first factor was the concentration of spraying paclobutrazol with 4 levels of treatment (50 ppm, 100 ppm, 150 ppm, and 200 ppm) and the second factor was the frequency of spraying paclobutrazol with 3 levels of treatment (every 3 days, every 6 days, and every 9 days once) that is applied when the plants were planties. Thus, obtained 12 combinations with 3 replications and 3 samples. Variables observed in this study were plant height, leaf area, plant fresh weight, root volume, age of flowering, number of flower stalks, flower diameter, and flowers stalk length. The interaction between concentration and frequency significantly affected the variable of plant height and wet weight of the bottom. Single factor concentration of paclobutrazol significantly affected the root volume, total leaf area, age of flowering, flower diameter, and flower stalk length. The results showed that the interaction between 200 ppm concentration and frequency every 3 days produced a lower Marigold plant. In a single factor 100 ppm concentration paclobutrazol better affect root volume, upper wet weight, total leaf area, and flower diameter, while 200 ppm concentration better affect plant height, flowering age, and flower stalk length. Keywords: alluvial, marigold, paclobutrazol, growth retard

Abstract

Sambal lime juice is one of the marinated ingredients that contain citric acid that have the function of preserving the quality of broiler meat. This research aimed to determine the quality of broiler meat marinated using sambal lime (Citrus microcarpa) juice with different concentrations and the immersion durations. The materials of this research were 24 pieces of broiler meat breasts. This research has used the factorial, completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor was the concentrations and the second factor was immersion durations of sambal lime, with the treatment combination were: 10%;10 minutes (K1L1), 10%;20 minutes (K1L2), 10%;30 minutes (K1L3), 20%;10 minutes (K2L1), 20%;20 minutes (K2L2), dan 20%;30 minutes (K2L3) with four replicated. The observed variables were the pH, protein content and water holding capacity. The results showed that the quality of broiler meat marinated using sambal lime juice, with different concentrations, did not affect all variables. However, the different immersion duration had a very significant effect on the pH value (4,67-5.47) and did not influence on protein content (21.38-22.54%) and water holding capacity (65.50-69.50%). The conclusion of this research is the best treatment of marinating using sambal lime juice on broiler meat quality is a concentration of 10% with an immersion duration of 20 minutes.
