Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying numbered head together on student learning outcomes in Geography subjects. The study used a pseudo-experimental method of nonequeivalent control group design with pretest posttest control group design totaling 15 experimental class students and 15 control class people. The results showed that there was a difference in the average pretest learning outcomes with the posttest of North Halmahera geography subjects taught using the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model with a mean value of -9,467 and a t value of -5,152. Learning activities using the NHT learning model, have an influence on learning activities shown from student learning activities in class and improvement of student learning outcomes in geography subjects in class XI SMA N 5 North Halmahera.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the application of inquiry learning strategies in meeting the achievement of student competencies, namely learning outcomes. The research method uses descriptive and quantitative analysis. The research was conducted in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 2 Tondano. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in the form of tabulations, percentages, and conclusions. The results of the study show that the learning process using the inquiry learning model, observing activities by students in an environment close to their own lives, can effectively improve learning outcomes. The standard for measuring learning success is if the learning group has 80% of students with a mastery achievement score of 70. There are 26 students, or 92.8%, who get an achievement score of 70, and there are 2 students, or 7.1%, who are classified as having a learning achievement score of 70.

Abstract

The development of the city is related to how the spatial structure of the city is formed, every city development becomes forming in a space in representing the use of space.. The purpose of this study was to obtain the results of spatial structure analysis and urban development in Wonosari District, Gunung Kidul Regency. This research focuses on the aspect of Wonosari District which is based on the spatial structure. The results of this study are that the physical conditions of the environment and public facilities are interrelated in the formation of the spatial structure, wherein 14 villages there is the highest number of public facilities of 28 and the lowest of 5 facilities, with a range of 5.75 so that it gets 4 classifications of the Wonosari District spatial hierarchy. A total of 2 villages become the city service center, 1 village is the city service center, 2 villages are supporting the city service center and 9 other villages are supporting the city service center. Supporting public facilities are also influenced by the physical condition of the area such as flat slopes, groundwater hydrology, and community land use.

Abstract

Vegetation is a group of plants, or all plant species found in a given area, with distinct patterns of temporal and spatial distribution. The presence of plants in a certain area helps to maintain the balance of the ecosystem. This study aims to determine the level of vegetation density in Jambudipa Village, Cisarua District, Bandung Regency in 2019 and 2022 using the Resistant Vegetation and Atmospheric Index (MSARVI) method. In 2019 there is still a lot of vegetation, but in 2022 the density will decrease. The amount of vegetation decreases due to several factors, such as the construction of settlements and public facilities such as urban developments and public services, which contribute to the decline in vegetation.

Abstract

Foreseeing future patterns of change and preventing or mitigating their negative impacts, it is important to understand how land cover changes. This study aims to examine changes in land cover in West Maluku Regency. To determine changes in land cover, the data used are Landsat 4-5 TM, Landsat 8 OLI, and SPOT 7 satellite images analyzed using SNI 7645:2010. The analysis includes pre-processing and land cover classification. Based on the research results, the three main MBD areas for built-up land are Moa Lakor District, Pulau Letti District, and Pulau Terselatan District. Due to Tiakur's status as the administrative center of Southwest Maluku Regency, Thakur District is the fastest-growing land development location.

Abstract

This study seeks to ascertain how using the project-based learning approach affects bettering learning results. A non-equivalent control group design with a quasi-experiment is the technique employed. Independent Samples Test and N-Gain score analysis method. According to research, PjBL motivates students to do experiments, learn from experience, be creative, and learn new things. There was an impact of PjBL learning on learning outcomes, as evidenced by the tcount results of 4.121 with sig (2-tailed) 0.000 > 0.05 and a comparison of tcount values 4.121 > ttable 2.056. The PjBL learning paradigm significantly improves learning outcomes, with an N-Gain score of 67.31.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of the inquiry learning model to student learning outcomes in Geography subjects at SMA Negeri 5 Halmahera Utara. Non-randomized control group pretest and posttest design were used in the research method, which is a quasi-experimental approach. The findings show the strong influence of the inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes for lithosphere material in the subject of Geography. This shows that the results of the posttest data analysis test using a t-test with a significance threshold of 0.05, where tcount > ttable is 14.91 > 1.76, is significant. Based on observations, the application of the inquiry learning model in the experimental class compared to conventional learning, its application was at a very good level of 93%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine restoration and revitalization efforts after the degradation of mangrove ecosystems in Paluh Merbau. The observation method is direct observation of the mangrove area. The results show that the mangrove ecosystem is fragile and sensitive to change. Mangrove forest degradation in Paluh Merbau has been very severe; much mangrove vegetation has fallen due to being unable to withstand abrasion and sedimentation in coastal waters and continues to experience area shrinkage. Restoration and revitalization of the Paluh Merbau mangrove ecosystem were carried out by naming Rhizapora apiculata, Rhizapora stylosa, and Avicennia marina.

Abstract

Process determine predicted monthly rainfall values for 2022, this study models rainfall forecasts. Observations of monthly rainfall over 30 years (1992–2022) were used to collect the data. The data is then analyzed using the Minitab application's ARIMA model to examine historical trends. For each model utilized, the forecast results are connected with the actual observation data in 2022. The model (1,0,1), (1,0,1) is used to calculate the difference to acquire a result of 54%, which is the best correlation value. The most accurate model for predicting monthly rainfall in Jambi is this one.
