Abstract

Rainfall is also one of the meteorological parameters that are very influential in life. Measurements of this rainfall can also vary both from direct observations and remote sensing results from satellites. But often, data from satellites is not accurate for the conditions that occur in an area. The purpose of this study is to test the accuracy of product data from various GPM, GSMaP, and CHIRPS satellites with observational data using the Seroja tropical cyclone case study that will occur in 2021 in East Nusa Tenggara Province. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that there are variations in various assessments, including RMSE, correlation, and contingency table analysis. In terms of correlation, it shows that the lowest correlation is in the Ruteng area based on data from the GSMaP satellite, and the highest correlation is in the Larantuka area based on data from the GSMaP satellite. Meanwhile, the satellite data that has the smallest error value is from the CHIRPS satellite data in the Maumere area.

Abstract

The rate of population growth that continues to increase in Ambon city with the availability of suitable land is relatively constant, resulting in inconsistencies between land requirements and available land. This study aims to analyze land cover changes in Ambon City in 2013, 2018, 2023 and predict land cover in 2031 using the Cellular Automata Markov Chain (CAMC) and the carrying capacity index of residential areas. The driving factors used in this study were elevation, slope, distance from the coastline, distance from the main road, distance from the river, distance from the center of economic activity and distance from protected areas. Based on the predictions of the Cellular Automata Markov Chain model in 2031, the built-up land cover has increased in area to 4,958.33 ha or 49,583,268 m2, with a predicted population of Ambon City in 2031 of 2,445,961 people. The calculation of the carrying capacity of residential land in 2031 in Ambon City results in the carrying capacity index of residential land of 1.27 m²/capita, meaning that if DDPm > 1 indicates the carrying capacity of residential land is high and still able to accommodate residents to live and build houses in the area. In other words, Ambon City can still accommodate an increase in settlements of 1.27 m²/capita.

Abstract

Coastal areas often have great economic potential because of easy access to natural resources, harbors, tourism, and trade activities. However, in many cases coastal development is uneven, and significant disparity occurs between developed regions and those left behind. The disparity of coastal development refers to significant differences in the development rate between different coastal regions. The problem of coastal development involves a few aspects to consider: development disparity: coastal regions often face disparity between those that have developed and those that have been left behind. Some coastal areas may have experienced significant economic growth and infrastructure development, while others are falling behind and lack access to basic resources and services. This study uses case studies the case study is the coastal region of kab. Pangkajene and islands. The case study method uses development inequality analysis methods. Size to analyze how high regional disparity is by means of the Williamson index (Williamson, 1965). The findings show the county of pangkajene is still below the standards of the provinces and the national. And still, inequality and inequality of people or gini ratio ratio to pangkajene and islands counties.

Abstract

The research objective was to find out how using student study time improves learning outcomes. Data collection techniques with questionnaires, and observation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics to determine the correlation between the use of study time and learning outcomes. The results showed a relationship between time utilization and learning outcomes with a correlation of rcount 0.863 > rtable 0.413. Utilization of learning outcomes contributes 73.2% to improving learning outcomes. Based on the t-test, the coefficients (B) are 0.622 and the value (B) is 0.034 with Sig. 0.000, meaning that using study time has a positive effect (+0.034) on improving learning outcomes. Students from Toraja have the habit of making good use of their study time, such as doing assignments, always making time to study, and being good at managing their time.
