Abstract

This research is a proof of how the lecturers implement Islamic moral values to students of Islamic education at STAI Al-Ishlahiyah Islamic College Binjai during Covid-19 through online lectures. The data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 10 Islamic education lecturers. The findings in the field reveal the fact that there are many strategies used by the lecturers to implement Islamic moral values to the students in online classes. The obligation to use live online media such as Zoom and Google meet is one of the strategies most often required by lecturers to the students in online classroom learning activities. Some moral values such as the value of discipline, the value of mutual respect and respect among others, and the value of politeness are some of the values that are most often taught and applied by lecturers in online classes. The synergy among parents, lecturers, and the environment where the students live are the main and the most important factors in shaping the morals of the students.Keywords: implementing, strategies, morale, value

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and determine the effect of Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Debt To Asset Ratio and Debt to Total Equity Ratio on Return On Equity in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population used in this study amounted to 26 companies. Data collection techniques in this study using documentation techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses the Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression, t-test and F-test, and the Coefficient of Determination. Data management in this study using the SPSS 23 Software program. The results showed that the Current ratio had no positive but significant effect on Return on Equity.in food and beverage companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period. The quick ratio does not have a positive but significant effect on Return on Equity in food and beverage companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period. The Debt To Asset Ratio has no positive but significant effect on Return on Equity in food and beverage companies listed on the IDX 2016-2020. The Debt To Equity Ratio has no positive but significant effect on Return on Equity in food and beverage companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period. Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio together do not have a positive but significant effect on the Return on Equity of food and beverage companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period.Keywords: Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio and Return on Equity

Abstract

The role of micro, small and medium enterprises is very important to drive the economy both nationally and regionally. such as moneylenders. In fact, this is actually a problem for small business actors, because of high interest rates, heavy installments, and the consequences of heavy delays in installments. This research was conducted in several street vendors in the city of Medan. The reason for choosing this area is because it is one of the metropolitan cities with ultra-micro businesses that are spread evenly around the city of Medan.The result of this research is that the ultra micro business financing provided by Mekaar or Pegadaian has a major effect on changes in selling capital, changes in income and changes in business development before and after sales capital for ultra micro businesses in Medan City. This is evidenced by the increase in sales capital after receiving financing.And the government's effort to overcome this is by establishing PT.PNM Mekaar as a realization the government's real commitment to develop, promote and maintain micro, small and medium enterprisesKeywords: Mobile food traders, Micro business financing for ultra micro businesses.

Abstract

The aims of this study include (1) To find out the principal's strategy in cultivating time discipline for teachers and students; (2) Strict sanctions for teachers and students who cannot apply the culture of time discipline in the school; (3) The impact of implementing a culture of time discipline for school members. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method in the form of observations and interviews with the principal, as well as representatives of three teachers and students of SMP Muhammadiyah 01 Medan. From the results of the research through observations and interviews with several sources, it was found that the strategy used by the principal in cultivating time discipline was one of them by going directly to give examples to attend school early, even before the bell rang. As for the strict sanctions given by the principal to teachers and students who violate the culture of time discipline, namely in accordance with the agreement that has been written in the school's rules and regulations. Furthermore, it is known that one of the positive impacts of time discipline for school members is that teaching and learning activities become more effective. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of a time discipline culture carried out by teachers and students at the school has not been effective, this is certainly caused by several inhibiting factors.Keywords: Strategy, Principal, Time Discipline.

Abstract

The long-term objectives of this research are; Provide input to policy makers at Muhammadiyah University in order to direct the academic community (especially female students) to wear clothes and hijabs that are in accordance with the actual Shari'a. The specific target to be achieved from this research is to provide input and encourage female students to improve their motivation in wearing the hijab which is part of Islamic teachings, namely covering their genitals, and at the same time encouraging female students to increase their knowledge about religion. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, using a phenomenological approach and type of research. Data collection used in the study were interviews and observations. Interviews were conducted to explore the motivation of female students to wear the hijab and to explore their religious understanding. While the observations were carried out in order to see firsthand how the models and patterns of wearing the hijab were carried out. The activity plan is carried out through stages consisting of: data collection as well as data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and data verification. The results of the study explain that students at the Muhammadiyah University of North Sumatra have understood the obligation to wear the hijab with the aim of maintaining aurat and protecting themselves from committing sins.Keywords: Motivating, Understanding, and veiled student

Abstract

The teacher is the main element that has an important role in formal education. Its existence is a determinant of the success of students and the quality of education. During the current Covid-19 pandemic, teachers are required to be able to demonstrate teacher competence in guiding, training, educating, and teaching their students. Learning is a very important thing as a source to achieve high knowledge, through science humans can find solutions and solve life problems both now and in the future, one of the elements that play an important role in good learning process activities and quality in the individual is motivation. Thus it can be understood that motivation in learning is something that is very instrumental in the activities of the process of seeking knowledge in individuals. In the Islamic perspective, its adherents are strongly encouraged to have high learning motivation, so that with high learning motivation, knowledge will be easily obtained. To increase motivation to learn in individuals, it can be done by guiding and following the advice of Islamic teachings, especially those related to rewards and glory in the sight of Allah for people who have knowledge. The purpose of this paper is to describe the importance of learning motivation in individual life, and matters relating to the Islamic view of learning motivation, as well as efforts to increase learning motivation. The method in this writing is a literature study, namely by describing and analyzing several Islamic theories and views on learning motivation. Teachers have various tasks that are implemented in the form of dedication. These tasks include the professional field, the humanitarian field and the social field. Tasks include educating teachers as a profession, teaching and training. Educating means continuing and developing the values of life and living. Teaching means continuing and developing science and technology while training means developing skills in students and teachers should be wise in the learning process, teachers should dress clean and neatly, teachers should evaluate their students.

Abstract

Quality of learning is the quality or excellence of the learning process carried out in the teaching and learning process. The quality of learning is one of the most important things in teaching and learning activities that must be achieved by an educator. Educators themselves are people who provide knowledge and new knowledge for others consistently and continuously. The formulation of the problem related to this research is to increase the quality of student learning through life skills activities at Muhammadiyah Junior High School Ahmad Dahlan Aekkanopan. While the purpose of this study is to analyze activities that can improve the quality of student learning. In this article, the method used is a qualitative description method in the form of interviews and observations of teachers and students of grade 9 Muhammadiyah Middle School Ahmad Dahlan Aekkanopan. Based on the results of interviews and observations, it can be concluded that life skills activities can improve the quality of student learning, this can be seen from students who have polite, courageous, creative, independent attitudes, are able to manage time and are enthusiastic in participating in all learning activities that are supported by excellent school programs.Keywords: Quality of Learning, Educators, Lifeskill

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether company size affects profit growth in Sharia banking companies, to find out whether NPF (Non Performing Financing) affects profit growth in Sharia banking companies to determine whether company size, NPF (Non Performing Financing) affects growth profit in Sharia banking companies. In this study, the author uses the nature of research with quantitative data, quantitative data is data in the form of numbers or data that is numbered. The results obtained are for the size of the company obtained tcount 6.637. Because tcount (6.637) ttable (1.672) then Ha is rejected so that it can be concluded that company size has a partial effect on profit growth. For NPF obtained tcount 2.203. Because tcount (2.203) ttable (1.672) then Ha is accepted so that it can be concluded that NPF has a partial effect on profit growth. From the results of the regression test using SPSS 18.0. The value of the coefficient of determination is 0.462, indicating that profit growth is influenced by firm size and NPF of 46.2%, while the rest is influenced by other variables/factors not included in this study..Keywords: Company Size, Non Performing Financial, Profit Growth

Abstract

Implementation of family-based character education is not an easy thing for parents to do. Because, after Covid-19, many young people, especially high school students, have been poisoned by online games. Nowadays, almost all young people have gadgets and many of them use it incorrectly so that it affects behavior change. This study aimed to: 1. Find out how parents implement character education for the younger generation in Lau Gumba Village, Berastagi District, Karo Regency. 2. Knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors for implementing family-based character education for the younger generation. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative method. The results of the study indicated the implementation of family-based character education in Lau Gumba Village, namely: 1. Parents exemplified the spirit of work and responsibility. 2. Parents Cultivated humility. 3. Parents became example in carrying out religious worship. The supporting factors were a strong spirit and motivation in educating children, while the inhibiting factor was a lack of understanding of character education in the family.Keywords: Implementation, Character Education, Family Based

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of digital storytelling by using Islamic stories (such as: Ibrahim and the fire, Leyla the sparrow, Alqaswa, etc) in promoting English to young Islamic learners. Since storytelling is a popular local wisdom in Indonesia and now, it develops to another form which is digital storytelling. There were 13 teachers participated in this study at Al-Washliyah Kindergarten, Klambir V Kebun. The data were collected from the questionnaire that was given to the teachers and then were analyzed by using SPSS 22.0. The result of this study indicated that there was a significant effect of storytelling by using digital stories in Islamic-based content to promote English to young Islamic learners (TScore was higher than TTable = 8,535 2,179).Keywords: Digital Storytelling, Islamic-based Content
