 Abstract This research background is to know about txhe meaning and symbol of dance movement Raddat Koko. The purpose of this research are 1) to describe the symbol in dance movement Raddat Koko in Sekuduk Village Sejangkung District Sambas Regency, 2) to describe the meaning in dance movement Raddat Koko in Sekudduk Village SejangkungSubdistrict Sambas District, 3) to describe the implementation of symbols and meaning of dance movement Raddat Koko in grade X SMA Negeri 1 Selakau on the subjects of Art Culture. The motion is, among others, the hormat motion, ancang-ancang 1, ancang-ancang 2, ancang-ancang 3, the menyerang motion 1 and menyerang 2. Motivation presents a symbol of respect that has meaning of homage to the audience who has been present. Ancang-ancang 1 presents a stalking symbol that has the meaning of stalking the place where the Dutch weapons hide. Ancang-ancang 2 presents a ready-to-play symbol that has the meaning of making a square off to move to a Dutch-owned hideout. Ancang-ancang 3 presents a preparatory symbol for an attack that has the meaning of performing the planned motion against the enemy. Menyerang 1 presents a symbol ready to fight against an opponent who has a ready-to-war meaning. Menyerang 2 represents the already attacking symbol has the meaning of war with unyielding. Keywords: meaning, symbol, motion, Raddat Koko traditional dance.

 AbstractThe qualifications of PAUD educators in Kabupaten Sambas are mostly still in senior secondary education or under D-2. This data shows that PAUD educators are carrying out their duties beyond their authority. With multimedia can help PAUD educators who attend the training to more easily understand the material submitted by the Instructor or trainer to improve professional competence. This research is a multimedia development research with meggunakan development stage of Borg and Gall, with the subject of research is amounted to 30 participants. Stages of multimedia development that dilakkuan Research and information collecting, planing, Develop preliminary form of product, Preliminary field testing, Main product revision, Operational field testing and Final product revision. Data were obtained through expert validation questionnaires, observations, interviews, participant response questionnaires, and documentation. Further analysis is done. The test result of the description, about 83.34% of the participants can understand the material delivered well. While 16.67% of them still do not understand this material in full. Meanwhile, the measurement of micro teaching result from 5 groups were in the range of 61 - 80 as many as 4 groups (80%) with good criteria and range of 81 - 100 as many as 1 group (20%) with very good criteria. Based on these results can be concluded that this material can be practiced by educators well. This means the goal of delivering this material is achieved. Key words: development, multimedia, PAUD

AbstractThis research aims to determine whether there is a difference between the motivation of students' learning grade X IPA MAN 1 Pontianak on the material of electrolyte and non electrolyte solution using contextual teaching and learning model and using conventional model, whether there is difference between student learning outcomes in electrolyte and Non electrolytes using contextual teaching and learning models and using conventional models, and determine how much effect the contextual teaching and learning model of student learning outcomes. The samples in this research are the students of class X IPA1 as control class and class X IPA3 as experiment class. The result of data analysis using U-Mann Whitney test showed Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.038 so that Ho is rejected (Ha accepted), it indicates the difference of learning motivation of control and experiment class students. Hypothesis test of learning result using U-Mann Whitney test yield Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00, so Ho is rejected, this shows the difference of the students' learning outcomes of the control class and the experimental class. Learning using contextual teaching and learning model provides an increase in learning outcome of 65.3%.Keywords: Contextual teaching and learning, learning motivation, learning result, electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution

Abstract This background research conducted from the researcher’s will to find out form of presentation and music function in Besiak Ritual of Antar Ajong Ceremony in Paloh Subdistrict of Sambas District. The purpose is to description the presentation form and music function in Besiak ritual on Antar Ajong ceremony. The method used is descriptive-qualitative method of qualitative form. It used ethnimusicologhy approach. Technique of data collecting applied observation, interview and documentation technique. Investigation technique of data validity are extension monitoring and triangulation technique. The technique of data analysis used interactive data analysis, which divided into three steps, they are data reduction, data presenting, and concluding / verification. The research’s results is description about music presentation form in Besiak Ritual on Antar Ajong ceremony including music instrument, player, stage lay out, make up, wardrobe, sound, lighting, formation and narration of presentation. Music function description in Besiak ritual on Antar Ajong ceremony including ceremony/ritual media, dance accompaniment, entertainer and communicating media. AbstractThis research aims to know the feasibility of excretion system module for 8th grade junior high school. The research used descriptive method with survey form. Research instrument used is sheet validation. Feasibility assessment of the module is obtained through validity test by 5 examiners. Validity test including presentation aspect, gradability, content and language. The average value of each aspects are 3,78; 3,56; 3,63; and 3,6. From the result of module validation, the obtained average value is 3,64 which categorised as valid. It is concluded that the module is feasible to use as teaching material of excretion system for 8th grade junior high school.Keywords: Feasibility, Modul, Material Excretion System

AbstractThis research hopes to reveal the influence of the principal's situational leadership and the principal's motivation giving to the performance of elementary school teachers in Sebawi Sub-district, Sambas District. The research method is descriptive and the data collection technique is done by using a questionnaire. The sample of this research is elementary teacher in Sebawi sub-district of Sambas regency that is 57 respondents. The instrument consists of three variables that are principal situational leadership (X1), principal motivation (X2), and teacher performance (Y).Based on the analysis, this research obtained some findings. First, there was a significant influence between the principal's situational leadership on the performance of elementary school teachers, secondly, there was a significant influence between the principal's motivation giving toward the performance of elementary school, and thirdly, there was a significant influence between situational leadership and principal's motivation giving toward teacher performance.On the basis of the results of the study, for a principal to improve the teachers' performance, he needs to apply situational leadership style and should be able to provide motivation to improve the teachers' enthusiasm and performance. Meanwhile, the teachers are advised to always improve their performance for the sake of the improvement of the quality of education.Keywords: Headmaster's principal leadership, principal motivation, teacher performance

AbstractBased on interviews with teachers of Indonesian subjects in grade X SMA Negeri 2 Selimbau Kapuas Hulu obtained information that of the four skills of learning Indonesian Language and Literature are students are very lacking in the ability to speak. One of the alternative methods that can be developed to overcome the low learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects is to apply the Inquiry learning model because students can find their own way to solve the problem. This study aims to describe the learning activities convey opinions in the discussion by using the model Inkuiri in class X SMA Negeri 2 Selimbau Kapuas Hulu The research method used is descriptive method. This research was conducted in class X Secondary High School State 2 Selimbau Kapuas Hulu Regency. Data collection techniques used in diresct observation, direct communication and measurement. The data collection tools used are observation guides, interview guides and tests. Data analysis used is qualitative data analysis. Learning outcomes in the discussions after using the Inkuiri model contributed significantly to student learning outcomes. In cycle I the classical average value is 65,91 and in cycle II becomes 81,76. Keywords: Inquiry Learning Model, Delivering Opinions in Discussion

AbstractThis research aimed measure the feasibility as a media biocard in the submaterial of biodiversity benefits in Senior High School Class X. Design of the research was qualitative. The sampling technique was purposive samplingMedia biocard was evaluated by two lecturers of Biology Education Program, FKIP, Tanjungpura University and three Biology teachers of SMA class X from three different schools in Sambas Regency, West Borneo were Senior High School 1 Tekarang, Senior High School 3 Teluk Keramat, and Senior High School. Based on validation test, biocard was categorized valid with the score average was 3.77 and it was suitable as learning media in submaterial of biodiversity benefits.Keyword: Feasibility, biocard, sub materials of biodiversity benefits

Abstract The title of this study is: Inter-Ethnic Prejudice of Class A Students at The State of Junior High School 3 Sungai Raya. A common problem of this research was the Prejudice Inter-Ethnic of The Students at The State of Junior High School 3 Sungai Raya. The scope of this research includes stereotypical of inter-ethnic in stereotypes, social distance and discrimination of inter-ethnic of the students at The State of Junior High School 3 Sungai Raya. The qualitative approach was used in this research study. The technique of data collecting by using observation, interview and documentation study with tool of data collection by using observation guide, interview guide, note book and archives. The results of this study indicated that stereotypes inter-ethnic, the social distance inter-ethnic and the discrimination of Class A Students at The State of Junior High School 3 Sungai Raya are very minimal. In this study, it is not ethnic issues that make them prejudiced towards certain people, but the problem comes from individual of the students. AbstractThe Purpose of this development research is to develop the image media on the subjects of image capturing techniques in improving student learning outcomes. The method of this research used is development method with descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were 29 students of the tenth graders. Techniques and data collection tools using; (1) expert validation questionnaire, (2) observation guide, (3) pretest and posttest. Data analysis using qualitative analysis. The results of the expert validation questionnaire validated and feasible to be used in research. Student learning outcomes measured through pretest and posttest of the basic techniques of capturing image are known; (l) pretest result shows 62.06 % of student unfinished while 37.93% student result of learning is complete, (2) result of posttest known 68.96% student result of learning complete and 31.03% student result of learning not complete. Learning by using the image media in image capturing technique subject to the students on the tenth graders in SMK Mardiri Pontianak, during the learning process conducted observations of student learning activities, the observation of student activity in learning activities known 82.75% students are very active and 17.24% of active students.Keywords: Image Media, Image Capturing Technique
