Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to see the improved mastery of english vocabulary through methods of playing bilingual kindergarten picture card pontianak southeast. Based on the results of research and data analysis can be concluded: (1) Learning planning in improving vocabulary mastery The English language of children aged 5-6 years can be categorized as "excellent", with indicators have made a good daily activity plan, selection of materials, selection of learning methods, problem formulation. (2) Implementation of learning in the mastery of English language vocabulary of children aged 5-6 years can be categorized as "excellent", among others: determine the material and formulate goals, manage class interaction, demonstrate the ability in learning, carry out assessment process and learning outcomes, general impression process learning outcomes.(3) The result of the improvement of vocabulary mastery of English language is categorized very well, because every indicator has improved with very good category. Suggestions that can be given in this research are expected to be the method of playing picture card can be one way to improve the mastery of English language vocabulary of children aged 5-6 years.Keywords: Mastery of English Vocabulary, Picture Card Playing Method.

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this study is learners find difficulty to understand abstract concepts; therefore it needs a concrete operational stage in the material of democracy. The purpose of this study is to describe the design, implementation and knowing the learning achievement  of  learners  after  using  reflective  learning  model  for  understanding  the concept of democracy in the subjects of civic education. This type of research uses research & development.. Learning model development system refers to the ten stages of development. Techniques of collecting data as follows: direct observation techniques, interviews, documentation and test. Data analysis (interactive model) uses Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study as follows. (1) The design of the development of reflective learning models that include instructional design and storyboard is worthy of use in the learning process.  (2)  Implementation  of  model  development  through  several  stages,  namely material expert validation, media, design, and testing. The average score of validation results of 3.21 categories is very clear so that the product is declared worthy of use in learning. (3) Student learning outcomes after using reflective learning model and student book product increased by 33.33% one-to-one test, 41.81% small group test and 44.79% for large group.Key Word : Reflective Learning Model

Abstract

Abstract Researchers want to explore thoroughly about the function of ritual dance Besagu Ayu who changed functions in the from of dance show.The method used in this research is descriptive method with a form of qualitative research and using ethnocoreology approach. The Data contained in this research is the fact about the process of the traditional ritual of treatment culture of Besagu Ayu Dance owned by the DayakKantu’ tribe in the village of Bika Hulu, Kapuas Hulu district, West Borneo. Data were analyzed qualitatively, with Thiento Yudhi, Tobias Ranggi and Rayun as the interviewees, who know clearly about Besagu Ayu dance of Dayak Kantu'. The data proceeded through the results of observation, interviews and documentation. Mechanical testing the validity of the data using techniques credibility test, and data were analyzed using interviews and field notes in a systematic search for and compile the data obtained.Based on the data analysis, can be summarized as follows. Besagu Ayu dance in Dayak Kantu’ in the District of Kapuas Hulu in West Borneo is a traditional dance of treatment ritual. Abstract

AbstractThe research was conducted based on the problems found in teaching and learning process. Students had problem in 2 aspects of vocabulary. They had the difficulties in determining the meaning of words and spelling the word correctly. The purpose of this research was to improve students’ vocabulary mastery by using Scrabble game to the Class VII C students of SMP Negeri 1 Jawai in academic year 2016/2017. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research which consists of Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. This research was done in three cycles. The participants of this research were the seventh grade English teacher and 32 students in class VII C. The researcher used observation and measurement test to collect the data. The researcher elaborated the result of observation checklist, field note and students’ mean score in order to get the research findings. The mean score of students’ individual test score improved in each cycle. In the first cycle, the mean score was 64.06 categorized into average, it increased to 78.75 categorized into average to good in the second cycle, and it increased to 92.18 categorized into good to excellent in the third cycle. In conclusion, Scrabble Game improved students’ vocabulary.Keywords: Vocabulary Mastery, Scrabble Game

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to describe the correlation between discipline, Independent Attitudes, Interest Learning and with Results Learning Social Sciences In Primary School Private Islamiyah Pontianak School Year 2016/2017, as well as the percentage of the combined the three predictor variables (X1, X2, X3) with the criterion variable (Y). This research uses descriptive method with quantitative approach. This type of research is correlational study. This research was conducted in in classes IV In Primary School Private Islamiyah Pontianak . The population of the study is 20 students. The data collection is done by using questionnaires and achievement tests. Data analysis techniques used inferential statistics such as the simple correlation and multyple correlation with two and three predictor variables. The results of this study indicate that: (1)there is a positive and significant correlation between the discipline Social Sciences result with, it can be seen that rarithmetic (0.865) greater than rtable (0.456), (2)there is a positive and significant correlation between Independent Attitudes with Social Sciences result, it can be seen that rarithmetic (0.807) greater than rtable (0.456), (3)there is a positive and significant correlation between Interest Learning with Social Sciences result, it can be seen that rarithmetic (0.864) greater than rtable (0.456), (4) there is a positive and significant correlation between the discipline, Independent Attitudes, Interest Learning with Social sciences result, it can be seen that Farithmetic (20,153) is greater than Ftable (3.24). Keywords: discipline, Independent Attitudes, Interest Learning, Results Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the Implementation of Honesty value, Discipline value and Responsibility value of Civic Education Teachers through strategy implementation of Honesty value, Discipline value and Responsibility value of civic education teacher at Elementary School Pontianak Timur. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach. Subjects in this study were teachers and students of fifth class State Elementary School 09, State Elementary School 10 and State Elementary School 16 at Pontianak Timur. The data collection is done by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis is done through the following phases: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The method examination of the validity data by using triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the strategy implementation of Honesty value, Discipline value and Responsibility value of civic education teacher at Elementary School Pontianak Timur its exemplary of civic education teacher, and habituation in the learning activities are done continuously so that the impact on the formation  character noble of learners. Keywords: Strategy Implementation, Civic Education Teachers, Honesty Value, Discipline value, Responsibility Value

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to identify and describe the Effects of Teachers on Teacher Performance Competency, Level Socioeconomic influences on teacher performance and teacher competence together Influence and socioeconomic level on teacher performance. This study was conducted in SD Muhammadiyah Pontianak 2 2013/2014 school year. This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques; Direct communication techniques; indirect communication techniques; documentary study technique. Tools used for data collection was interview guide; questionnaires; and documentation. The results of his research is that there is a positive and significant effect of teacher competence terhadp teacher performance with a correlation coefficient 0.845 means to have a high impact; there is a positive and significant effect of socioeconomic level on teacher performance with a correlation coefficient 0.744 means to have a considerable influence closely; and there is a positive and significant effect of teacher competence and socio-economic level of the teacher's performance with regression coefficient simultaneously with the F value 71.237> 3.33 means that the value of the regression coefficient test simultaneously have a very high influence. Abstract

AbstractThis research was aimed to found out the feasibility of sub material media pocket book of biodiversity benefits for X grade senior high school. The method used in this research was descriptive method and the sampling techniques was purposive. The pocket book was tested for the feasibility by two lecturers of Biology Education Study Program FKIP Untan and three X grade senior high school biology teachers in three schools in sub-district of Tekarang, regency of Sambas. Based on the evaluations of validators, the pocket book was qualified and valid with the average value of 3,80 and feasible to be used as a learning media in sub material benefits of biodiversity.Keywords: Biodiversity, Media,  Pocket Book

Abstract

AbstrakThe research problem is whether there is an increase in sprite writing skills using the drill method in class III State Elementary School 05 Pontianak Utara A study that improves the skills of writing poetry using the method of drill (drill).The method used in this research is descriptive method. Data technique used is direct observation technique and measurement with data collecting tool that is Student Worksheet. Setting research with subject Teachers / Researchers and students class III reinforcement students 25.The results of the three cycles that are rising are: 1) Cycle I with a value of 3.33 with good category, Cycle II has increased 0.29 to 3.62 which belongs to either category. While Cycle III has increased by 0.18 to 3.80 and entered in very good category. 2) Cycle I begins with a value of 3.26 with good category, Cycle II has increased 0.34 to 3.60 into the good category. While in Cycle III also increased 0.31 to 3.91 and entered very good category. 3) The skill of writing poetry student using the method of training cycle I the percentage of student learning outcomes of 66.36 increased 5.76 in the second cycle to 72.12 and on the third cycle increased 7.28 to 79.40 in good category. Keyword: using drill method in learning Indonesian can improve poetry writing skill.

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research was “The effect of learning discipline towards the studentslearningoutcomes in sociology subject at XI IPS of SMA Santun Untan Pontianak. The purposeof this research was to investigate whether or not the effect of learning discipline towards thestudents learning outcomes. The problems formulation of this research are: 1. How the eleventhgrade students learning discipline in sociology subject. 2. How the students learning outcomes insociology subject at the eleventh grade. 3. What is the effect of learning discipline towards thestudents learning outcomes in sociology subject at the eleventh grade. The research appliedquantitative method by using the effect of inferential statistic. The data was collected by usingdirect communication and indirect communication and documentary study. The data wascollected by using questionnaire and notes which was collected from the 30 students. Thehypothesis result of this research was there was the positive effect and significance between learning discipline towards learning outcomes with r calculated 3.890> the t table 2,048. While,the value of equation regression was Y= 10.670 + 0.544X, showed that the learning discipline (Xvariable) increased 1, then the learning outcomes (Y variable) increased 0.544. the determinantscore adjust R2 = 0,406 which was means there was the effect of learning discipline towardslearning outcomes as big as  40.6 % which was classified as average and 59.4% determined byanother factor which was don’t discussed in this research. Key words: Learning Discipline, Learning Outcomes
