Abstract

AbstractThis thesis is entitled "The Structure and Function of the Mantra of Community Medicine for the Sambas District of Sebawi District". This research is motivated by the desire of researchers to find out the oral literature contained in the Sambas District Sebawi Malay community. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the structure and function of the mantra of treatment of the Sambas Malay community of Sebawi District?. The method in this research is descriptive method. The form of research used is qualitative research and uses a structural approach. The source of data in this study is the mantra of treatment of the Sambas Malay community which consists of 10 data. The data in this study are in the form of words. Data analysis techniques using structural techniques namely by recording and interview. The results of this study found diction were less commonly used in daily life, there are concrete words in each mantra. There are 3 images, 17 rhymes, 3 rhythms, 3 function, and learning implementation plans in the form of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) on the structure of the even semester X class poetry builder material. Keywords: Function, Structure, , Treatment mantra

Abstract

AbstractNarcissism is a behavior characterized by a tendency to look at himself in an excessive way, love to boast about himself and expect others to give praise, besides that embedded in him the feeling of the most capable, most unique (different himself) and feel special compared to others. Basically narcissism is a form of self-actualization of someone who loves himself excessively. The term narcissism in psychology can be classified as a personality disorder. The general problem in this research is How is Narcissism Behavior Analysis in Class XII MIPA MAN 02 Pontianak Year 2019? The sub-problems are (1) What are the characteristics of narcissistic behavior in class XII MIPA MAN 2 Pontianak students in 2019? (2) What are the factors that cause narcissism behavior in students of class XII MIPA MAN 2 Pontianak in 2019? (3) What are the effects of narcissistic behavior on students of class XII MIPA MAN 2 Pontianak in 2019? (4) Are the efforts made by the guidance and counseling teacher in helping to overcome narcissistic behavior in students of class XII MIPA MAN 2 Pontianak in 2019? The method used is descriptive method, and the form of research is a survey study. The population in this study was the Analysis of Narcissism Behavior in MAN 2 Pontianak 2019 MIPA Students. This research uses quantitative research. Data collection techniques are indirect communication techniques while the data collection tool is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using the percentage formula Based on the results of this study indicate that Narcissism Behavior Analysis in Students of Class XII MIPA MAN 2 Pontianak is in the "High" category. Based on the description above, in general it can be concluded that the Analysis of Narcissism Behavior in Students of Class XII MIPA MAN 2 Pontianak as a whole obtains the category of "High". Keywords: Narcissism Behavior, Students

Abstract

AbstractThe problems discussed in this study are the behavior of students who deviate, especially to teachers outside the physical education, the behavior of students who are rude towards peers, and deviant behavior towards the environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the Relationship between Personality and Physical Education Learning Outcomes in Sport and Health in SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. Descriptive research method involving two variables, namely the independent variable Personality and the dependent variable, namely the learning outcomes of physical education and sports. population of class XI students of SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak consisting of 6 classes, sampling using a random sampling method, researchers took one class of the total population, with a total sample of 36 students. This research technique uses tests and measurements, namely tests with a lattice measuring instrument of personality with physical education learning outcomes. Data analysis uses the correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that there is a personality relationship with the learning outcomes of physical and health physical education in SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. This can be proven based on the calculation results, where the calculated value is 0.522> rtable value (0.339), so that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. This means that there is a personality relationship with the learning outcomes of physical education and sports in health at SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak.Keywords: Learning outcomes, Personality.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to reveal the effect of job satisfaction and work commitment on the performance of PAUD teacher in Sintang district, both partially and jointly. The reseach method used is a quatitative approach with a type of causal comparative research or correlational study. This research was conducted in 12 PAUD institutions in Sintang District with the criteria of school intitutions in the form of KB and TPA education. While the sample was 54 PAUD teacher. The instruments used are in the form of questionnaires. Data collection procedures and techniques used were questionnaires. While the data analysis technique used inferential parametric statistics with the hypothesis testing technique is correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis with the help of  IBM SPSS Statistic 25 (SPSS 25). The conclusions of this research are as follows: (1) job satisfaction of Sintang District PAUD teacher tends to be low. (2) the work commitment  of Sintang District PAUD Teacher tend to be low. (3) T the performance of PAUD teachers in Sintang District tended to be low. (4) job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the performance PAUD teacher in Sintang District. (5) work commitment has a positive and significant effect of the performance of PAUD teacher in Sintang District. Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to explain and analyze intrinsic and extrinsic motivation in the form of desires and desires to succeed, encouragement and needs in learning, hopes and ideals, appreciation, conducive learning environment and interesting learning activities for students of class VIII E in social studies subjects at SMP Negeri 6 Pontianak. This research uses a qualitative methods. The results showed that (1) The desire and success of the participants did not do the assignments given by the studentsseriously. (2) The encouragement and the needs of the studenst’ learning teachers could be said to be poor, the students who looked lack of focus and look bored. (3) Expetations and ideals of participants can be quite good, but do not have a major impact in influencing students’desire to be more active in learning social studies subjects. (4) Awards in learning given by teachers to students can be is said to be good enough in fostering learning impiulse in student. (5) Learning environment can be said to be unfavorable, students feel overheating due to be inadequate classroom facilities (6) Learning activities can be said to be inadequate, students often feel bored in social studies learning because the methods used by teacher are less varied. Abstract

AbstractThe background of this study is the interest of researchers in the arts that are influenced by Islam and art that has long faded among the Pontianak community as well as researcher’s interest in the uniqueness of dance in Pontianak. One of the tradition is  Zapin Arab dance, so researchers wanted to explain and told the detail  ofthe history of Zapin Arab Dance and the development of Zapin Arab dance in Pontianak.  The goal was to find out about the history of Zapin Arabic by documenting in writing form and supported by photographs of Zapin Arab performance, so that the history of Zapin Arabic dance could be known by the people of Pontianak City and the society. The method used is a historical method, with qualitative research.  The research approach used is a multidisciplinary. The data sources in this study are primary and secondary sources, where primary data were obtained from five sources who studied the history of Zapin Arabic dance trips and secondary sources were obtained from books sources that relating to Zapin dance.  Data collection techniques consist of book study, observation, interviews, and documentation.  The technique of testing validity data uses triangulation of sources and techniques. The history of Zapin Arabic dance comes from the word "Zafn" which means the movement of the feet.  It was brought by the people of Hadramaut Yemen as art which was introduced together with the introduction of Islam in the 6th century. It is estimated that Zapin began to enter Indonesia in the 13th century until the 18th century brought by Yemeni missionaries and Yemeni traders to spread the Islamic religion and attract customers.  This Zapin dance began to enter the city of Pontianak to coinciding with the time after the establishment of the city of Pontianak, which was the first sultanate of Sultan Syarif Abdurrahman Al-qadrie in 1771 AD                    Keywords: Development, History,  Zapin Arabic Dance

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the effect of problem solving methods on thematic learning on learning outcomes of fifth grade students at Pontianak Elementary School 66 Pontianak City. The research method used was an experimental research quasi experimental design, with the experimental design of nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study was all students of class V SD Negeri 66 Pontianak Kota. The sample is determined by total sampling technique, to determine the experimental class and the control class randomly selected by drawing the VB class as many as 36 students as the control class and VA as many as 37 students as the experimental class. Data collection techniques using measurement techniques. The instrument used was a test sheet in the form of multiple choice learning totaling 50 questions. Based on calculations obtained the average post-test learning outcomes of the control class 66.61 and the average post-test learning outcomes of the experimental class 73.62 so that the post-test data of 3.936 was obtained with a table for the significance level (α = 5% and dk = 37 + 36-2 = 71) of 1.996, because tcount> ttable then Ha is accepted, this proves that there is an effect of problem solving methods on thematic learning towards learning outcomes of class V students of 66 Pontianak Elementary School. From the calculation of the effect size obtained by 0.63 including the criteria of being, so it can be concluded that the method of problem solving in thematic learning has a moderate effect on learning outcomes of students of class V 66 State Primary School Pontianak City.                                     Keywords :  Learning Outcomes ,  Problem Solving Methods, and Thematic Learning

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is that directive and expressive speech acts are pragmatic studies. The problem in this research is the form of directive speech acts of students and teachers in learning Indonesian in class X IIS Indonesia Young High School and expressive speech acts of students and teachers in learning Indonesian in class X IIS Indonesia Young High School. The benefits of this research are divided into two namely theoretical benefits and practical benefits.The method used in this research is descriptive method in the form of qualitative research. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, peer, and video. The tools used in this study are mobile phones and stationery. The results of the analysis contained 76 directive and expressive speech acts of Indonesian students and teachers in class X IIS of Indonesia Young High School. Forms of directive speech acts requestives 12 data, forms of directive speech acts questions 24 data, forms of directive speech acts requirements 22 data, forms of directive speech acts permissives 4 data, forms of directive speech acts of advisories 10 data and forms of expressive speech acts 4 data.  Keywords:  Directive and Expressive Speech Acts, Speaking, Speech Acts

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to analyze the Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) in the welfare of the community in the Entogong village. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive form. The data sources in this study were 3 village staff and 10 beneficiaries of village as an informant to conduct interviews. The results showed that 1) the PKH planning in the village was categorized as well according to the government's pre-determined enlisting. 2) The implementation of PKH with 5 aspects of a) well-categorized education(10 informants able to finance education), b) well-categorized health (8 people able to fulfill the need for health) c) the housing and environment are not well categorized (10 informants have not been able to improve the welfare of families), d) aspects and consumption patterns are not well categorized(10 informants have not been able to enhance the welfare of the family), e) poverty is categorized not good (6 have not been able to reduce poverty). 3) evaluation from the implementation of PKH in the village has been functional through education and health but has not been able to improve the prosperity through housing and environment, the level and pattern of consumption and poverty Keywords: Community Welfare, Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH)

Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted in order to improve students’ reading comprehension in narrative text using Story Mapping Technique to the eleventh-grade students. The form of this research is classroom action research. The subjects were 28 students of grade XI IIS 2 students of SMA Taman Mulia Kubu Raya in Academic Year 2019/2020. The data were collected using tests, observation checklists, and field notes. From the observation checklist and field notes, it was found that all of the students participated to the activity and did their task well. Teaching reading comprehension on narrative text by using story map technique positively helps the students organize their ideas into a map which help them to integrate the concepts and idea from the story. The students gave positive response to the explanation of narrative text and could use the story mapping technique properly and the students’ mean score improved from 64.29 in cycle one (36% students passed the minimum score) to 76.08 in cycle two (72% students passed the minimum score). In conclusion, it can be inferred that story mapping technique improved students’ reading comprehension skill in narrative text. Keywords: Narrative text, Reading, Story Mapping Technique.
