Abstract

UMKM on the other hand also have weaknesses one of which is in terms of marketing and promoting products, this is because the owner of UMKM is from among the villagers who still do not understand the science of marketing, all activities are sometimes still traditional. The problem faced by Siti Nailul Fauziyah's woven bag business is that product promotion has not been done to the maximum, business owners only promote bags on whatsapp. In addition, marketing activities are also still limited to only producing products if there is a message, if no one messages then do not make bags. competition. This is what causes this woven bag is not yet widely known by the public, so promotion using various media needs to be done. This community service provides assistance in the marketing and promotion of products. Promotional and marketing assistance aims to introduce woven bag products to the wider community so as to increase the sales of woven bags.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 juga menjadi salah satu alasan seseorang untuk memasuki dunia UMKM agar tetap bertahan dalam keterpurukan masalah keuangan. UMKM perlu diberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman dalam penegelolaan bisnis agar siap mengahadapi tantangan serta mampu bertahan dengan kondisi ekonomi saat ini. Pelatihan dan pendampingan pada UMKM keripik singkong di Desa Umbulsari, umbulsari Jember menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan bisnis masyarakat. Pelatihan dan Pendampingan UMKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan dalam pengelolaan usaha, meningkatkat inovasi produk dan mempeluas pemasaran.

Abstract

Generation Z is a person born between 1995 and 2010. Generation Alpha is a person born after 2011. We predict that in the future there will be a super tight selection in the placement of workers. It is very important to develop soft skills and hard skills for the younger generation, especially Generation Z and Alpha. This service is in response to a phenomenon in society in Gumukmas Village, Jember, especially elementary, middle and high school children who are not so familiar with the use of information technology. The conclusion of this service was that they stated that after being given training they had started to get used to using computers. Starting to have an interest in exploring various software, especially those needed in the world of work. The point is that this study group already has the enthusiasm to develop science in the field of ICT because they are aware that as Generation Z and Alpha they must start getting used to being familiar with computers from an early age. Suggestions from the results of this dedication: Mastering ICT requires patience and must be continuous in learning it. Remember that learning ICT is a multilevel knowledge, so you must be patient to learn from the lowest level. Slow down and enjoy the learning process, don't be shy to ask.

Abstract

Kemajuan penerapan teknologi yang ditandai era revolusi indutri 4.0 secara jelas memaksa semua elemen kegiatan perekonomian baik manufaktur, industry, maupun jasa untuk menerapkan sistem yang berbasis internet atau digital. Sistem yang mulai perlahan beradaptasi dengan penduduk di negara Indonesia khususnya perlahan jatuh akibat dampak dari pandemic covid-19 yang menghancurkan segala jenis aktivitas ekonomi dan bisnis. Salah satu yang paling terasa adalah Usaha Jasa Cuci Sepatu “SHOES OLD FOOTWEAR” milik pak Jun yang bertempat di Jl. PB Sudirman RT. 03/ RW. 015 Desa Tanggul Kulon Kecamatan Tanggul. Disamping terkena dampak pandemic covid-19, laju pertumbuhan usaha ini dibilang lambat. Kurangnya promosi yang digunakan, belum beralihnya sistem yang digunakan dari konvensional ke digital, dan juga proses akhir yang di berikan kepada pelanggan yang terkesan sederhana dan apa adanya membuat tidak ada nilai unggul yang ditawarkan dari usaha jasa cuci sepatu milik pak Jun. Karena kendala diatas maka kami memberikan pendampingan dengan membantu pemasaran usahanya melalui media cetak dan digital serta memberikan value add servis terhadap pelanggan. Dengan pendampingan ini diharapkan ada nilai lebih yang di hasilkan dari usaha jasa cuci sepatu milik pak Jun.

Abstract

Tegalsari Village is located in Ambulu District, Jember Regency. The people's livelihood is generally in agriculture, either as farmers, farm laborers, as well as casual daily laborers and animal husbandry. In September 2021 a new young entrepreneur was formed, named Chips "ENSI". These chips are marketed directly to end users, through the Pre-Order mechanism or based on orders, but the number of sales has not been in accordance with the target, even though it has been able to cover the initial capital issued. In addition, there are problems in obtaining good quality cassava which results in a decrease in the quality and quantity of production and product packaging design. Based on this situation analysis, the main problem in the target community is the need for assistance to new young entrepreneurs of cassava chips, which is carried out through the selection of product raw materials, product processing, product innovation, packaging design and marketing (marketing strategy). The implementation of Community Service activities in the form of product raw material selection, product processing, Product Innovation, packaging design and marketing (marketing strategy) in Tegalsari Village, Ambulu District, Jember Regency went well and smoothly, and received full support from the surrounding environment. Finally, "ENSI" cassava chips have become a quality product and are very worthy of being marketed, because they taste good, have attractive packaging, and are affordable. New marketing strategies need to be implemented to face increasingly fierce competition.

Abstract

Tobacco has an important role in the socio-economic life of the community, such as the state in the form of tax revenues and foreign exchange earnings, employment, income of farmers, laborers, and traders, as well as income. But on the other hand, under the pretext of health, tobacco development and trade began to face opposition which was legalized through regulations. This has an impact on the sustainability of tobacco farming which in turn has an impact on the welfare of farmers. This paper aims to discuss the prospects and challenges faced by tobacco farmers in Kedung Sumur Hamlet, Jambe Arum Puger Village. In addition, tobacco farmers face problems: the marketing system in terms of branding, in terms of the capital side of the business. Abstract

Mandala College of Economics has long collaborated with the Jember Job Training Center (BLK). In early February 2022, a one-month training was held with a focus on training on Entrepreneurship. We saw a very interesting phenomenon from their enthusiasm in pioneering and running a business with enthusiasm and they (trainees) were very enthusiastic about participating in the training and asked a lot of questions and discussions. The core problems of the training participants include: 1. determining the right amount of product to be produced; 2. The increase in the price of feed resulted in an increase in the selling price of the eggs produced; 3. Online merchants have many competitors as well as their consumers who are already good at making direct purchases in marketplaces such as Shopee and Tokopedia; 4. Problems in marketing their services due to the many competitors, especially in the world of servicing motorcycles, cellphones, computers and so on. The results of this service include entrepreneurship training participants who have been able to apply the Monte Carlo technique, are able to calculate whether to buy or make related feed, have understood the importance of cooperation and strategies to shorten distribution channels in order to get a relatively cheap price, and finally the trainees have been able to apply personal selling and implementing excellent service for their customers, this is evident from the increase in their sales.

Abstract

This Community Service aims to add value to the Tofu produced by Mr. Tomo's family from Pomo Hamlet, Ampel Village, Wuluhan District, Jember Regency. This home industry did not yet recognize the importance of product innovation, how to innovate on products, and the implementation of marketing through product packaging in a more attractive manner. In addition, operations and business records had not been carried out in an accountable manner, so that the maximum production capacity had not been achieved. Cost of Goods Sold was calculated simply and potentially inaccurate because it was not properly recorded. Activities were carried out through product innovation counseling; assistance in making packaging designs, both from the type of container and logo; as well as assistance on how to make Tofu Kress as a result of innovation. The next activity was carried out through Business Analysis, both from the production and financial aspects, to be able to find out the allocation of capital and profits generated after the innovation of “Tahu Kress”. As a result, Mr. Tomo's family significantly understands the importance of product innovation, was able to implement value added to Tofu products by making Tofu Kress, placing it in containers with up-to-date designs, and conducting business analysis on production and financial aspects to develop the production of Tofu in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat kali ini dilakukan di “Rey Concept Interior & Eksterior” yang beralamat di Jl. Manggar gang Kelapa, Kelurahan Gebang, Kecamatan Patrang, Kabupaten Jember. Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah: 1) Untuk membantu pemasaran produk dan usaha “Rey Concept Interior & Eksterior”melalui beberapa media sosial. 2) Untuk membantu “Rey Concept Interior & Eksterior” dalam memperbaiki laporan keuangan selama menjalankan usaha mebel dan design interior &eksterior. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yaitu dengan melakukan pendampingan dan pembelajaran pada “Rey Concept Interior & Eksterior”, membuatkan akun-akun di media sosial seperti Facebook, Instagram dan TikTok sebagai media promosi digital agar “Rey Concept Interior & Eksterior” tidak hanya di kenal oleh masyarakat Kelurahan Gebang, namun juga di kenal oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu “Rey Concept Interior & Eksterior” kini telah memiliki akun di beberapa media sosial untuk mempromosikan produk mebel dan usaha jasa design interior dan eksteriornya. Dan dari promosi digital tersebut, saat ini “Rey Concept Interior & Eksterior” sudah mendapat pesanan mebel dari kabupaten-kabupaten tetangga seperti Bondowoso dan Lumajang. Sedangkan untuk laporan keuangan, setelah adanya pendampingan perbaikan pelaporan keuangan, saat ini laporan keuangan “Rey Concept Interior & Eksterior” lebih sistematis dan akuntable.
