Jurnal CENTECH pertama kali diterbitkan pada bulan April 2020 melalui penerbit UKI Press dengan nama Jurnal Rekayasa Teknik Sipil dan Lingkungan CENTECH. Jurnal ini dikelola oleh Program Studi Teknik Sipil UKI yang dimaksudkan untuk mempublikasikan karya-karya penelitian dosen, alumni, dan praktisi serta peneliti di luar UKI. Jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel penelitian yang berfokus pada bidang Manajemen Konstruksi, Geoteknik, Rekayasa Struktur, Rekayasa Transportasi, Manajemen Sumber Daya Air serta Rekayasa Lingkungan. Jurnal CENTECH diterbitkan secara berkala dua kali dalam setahun, yaitu April dan Oktober, dimana terbitan perdana adalah pada bulan April 2020. Untuk peningkatan kualitas jurnal maka Prodi Teknik Sipil UKI menerbitkan jurnal ini secara online sehingga dapat mengajukan akreditasi jurnal dalam waktu dekat.

Abstract

Tanah lempung mengembang merupakan tanah yang memiliki tingkat sensitifitas tinggi dan mempunyai sifat kembang susut yang dapat menimbulkan kerusakan pada bangunan yang berdiri diatasnya, tanah ini juga memiliki potensi mengembang dan menyusut sangat tinggi akibat perubahan kadar air didalam tanah. Tanah lempug mengembang mempunyai daya dukung tanah yang cukup baik, bila dalam keadaan tidak jenuh air dan buruk bila dalam keadaan jenuh air. Penambahan cornice adhesive pada tanah lempung akan meningkatkan nilai kuat tekan bebas untuk digunakan sebagai bahan konstruksi, pengujian dilakukan meliputi pengujian pendahuluan yaitu batas plastis, batas cair, batas susut, indeks plastisitas, specivic gravity, dan pemadatan standar. Untuk mendapatkan jenis tanah asli dan pengujian lanjutan dengan menambah persentase cornice adhesive dengan variasi penambahan: 5%,10%,15% dan dengan waktu pemeraman 7;14; 28 hari.

Abstract

This research is on the factors influencing the lead time of concrete material procurement in Jakarta. If the accurate material procurement lead time is getting longer, it can impact many losses on the project planning building. Factors that have been found from many studies of literature and field studies were analyzed by factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. Data was obtained by distributing a questionnaire to 30 respondents. After the data is retrieved and processed using factor analysis, ten variables are identified that influence the concrete material procurement lead time. These ten variables can be grouped into three major groups, namely, the cost factor, transportation factor, and internal factor. Then these ten variables were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis by adding the dependent variable, i.e., the delay in procurement of the concrete material. The results of multiple linear regression analysis can be seen from the significant value. Four factors affect the independent variable. Four of the most influential are the number of staff, transport availability, material price increase, and fuel price increase. Knowing these factors is expected to reduce the risk of concrete material procurement lead time becoming longer.

Abstract

Rock ash, limestone powder, and Portland cement are joint fillers used in flexible pavements, but their manufacturing is limited, necessitating alternate materials. This research aimed to determine the use of gypsum waste ash as a filler in asphalt concrete utilizing the Marshall process. Filler is an essential ingredient, particularly in asphalt-concrete combinations. The use of latex-modified bitumen at 7% of the optimum asphalt content of 6% and a variation of 5%, 6%, 7%, and 8% gypsum waste ash filler with rock ash filler is expected to increase the stability value while decreasing the degree of stability and flexibility degradation due to re-soaking specimens by wet dry process. Except for the melting point, Marshall and volumetric tests on specimens without immersion with a gypsum ash level of 6.5% revealed that most specimens met the Highways 2010 revision 2 standards. The test results at 6.5% gypsum waste ash filler content also indicated a rise in the stability value and Marshall Quotient (MQ), indicating that the test item is becoming stiffer. The test findings on re-soaked test specimens showed the slightest loss in stability values at 6.5% gypsum ash filler level, which was 8%. The loss in stability in the soaked mixture without gypsum ash could reach 36.18%. The Marshall Quotient value from the soaking data was 180.41 kg/mm, compared to 182.59 kg/mm for the mixture without gypsum ash. According to this, gypsum waste ash at a content of 6.5% is a mixture that can be recommended as a flexible road paving material.

Abstract

The Cawang transmission lines are both a strategic location and a gateway for traffic moving from Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi to Jakarta, and thus a center point or integration point for modes such as TransJakarta buses, commuter trains, the Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, LRT from Cimanggis and East Bekasi, and high-speed trains from Bandung to Jakarta. Jakarta's traffic has been becoming increasing after declining the post-Covid-19 pandemic. A study was conducted on Mayjen Sutoyo Street, which stretches about two kilometers from MT Haryono Road and DI Pandjaitan Road to the intersection of Jalan Dewi Sartika and Jalan Cililitan Besar, to determine the performance of the traffic in the Jakarta area. In addition to its strategic location, the location selected for this study results in traffic congestion on this road, especially during peak traffic. This research aims to determine the road section's traffic flow, speed, density, and service level. The traffic survey records vehicle data from the Jayakarta Regional Military Command Building to the UKI Cawang traffic light. MKJI 1997 was applied to data processing. Abstract

A deaf person is a person who has hearing loss. Consequently, they cannot hear sounds and voices perfectly. Such causes them to have difficulties communicating so that many of them lose their opportunity to excel. Nonetheless their intelligence level is the same as other normal children. Hence with the limitations they have, they need to be treated specifically. Special School Part B will provide opportunities for deaf children to obtain decent education and develop their respective potentials. By applying the concepts of deaf space, space and distance, sensory range, mobility and proximity, lighting and color, and acoustics, the designed school can meet the needs of deaf children. With the particular educational facilities, deaf children can be united in the same surroundings, so that they will feel pleasant when learning and interact with each other. Thus they can cultivate self-confidence and are no longer underrated by society.

Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is essential for the construction sector, especially in Indonesia, because it simplifies challenging tasks, boosts stakeholder participation, and improves overall results. Only state-owned contracting businesses were involved in BIM implementation's adoption and digitization phase in 2017. Since 2015, Singapore has developed and integrated BIM into construction projects, resulting in widespread technology usage. Human resource readiness with technology, preferences for the old system (considered easier to manage and less dangerous), malfunctioning equipment, and a lack of personal motivation are among the factors driving the acceleration of BIM adoption in the Indonesian construction services industry. In optimizing information technologies in the construction sector, each planning element must submit building plans using BIM, including architecture, civil engineering, and electrical engineering. It seeks to boost productivity and collaboration to compete globally with constricted workflows. It is crucial that the Indonesian construction services industry adopt BIM, define implementation standards for BIM, and foster industry cooperation. Building a BIM implementation system in a corporation is challenging since socializing and altering the method and rhythm of work using BIM could take up to two years.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The September 28th,2018 Central Sulawesi earthquake collapsed various buildings in Palu. One of the buildings that collapsed due to the earthquake was the structure of the Universitas Terbuka building Palu. Based on a survey to the building site, it can be seen that the collapse occurred in the dominance of melting in the column sections so that the structure was unable to stand upright. Therefore, to find out the main cause of the collapse of the Universitas Terbuka Palu building, it is necessary to analyze the seismic response of the structure. The method used is Spectra Response. Analysis of the calculation of deformation, storey drift and base shear is carried out to determine the stability and the main cause of the collapse of the building. The results showed that the Seismic Response of the Universitas Terbuka Palu building structure was not suitable for earthquake loads with the earthquake zoning of the Palu area determined based on SNI 03-1726-2012. The analysis shows that the deformation that occurs is greater than the allowable deformation and the field conditions indicate that the column is experiencing melting so that it collapses earlier than the beam. Abstract

Kegiatan industri manufaktur, industri pariwisata dan pemukiman secara otomatis akibat bertambahnya jumlah penduduk. Semua kegiatan membutuhkan lahan yang berpengaruh pada penyediaan sumber daya air di kota Batam. Pada tahun 2025 kebutuhan air baku kota Batam sebesar 5.278 liter/detik sementara kapasitas sumber daya air eksisting adalah sebesar 5.250 liter/detik atau kekurangan 25 liter/detik dan proyeksi proyeksi kebutuhan air bersih pada tahun 2045 sebesar 6.013 liter/detik atau kekurangan air sebesar 763 liter/detik. Sementara proyeksi kebutuhan air baku untuk kawasan industri, perhotelan dan rumah susun pada tahun 2045 sebesar 1.538 liter/detik. Dalam rangka memenuhi kekurangan tahun 2045, maka diadakan penelitian pemanfaatan air limbah domestik dan industri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder dari berbagai instansi yang terkait dan wawancara. Data tersebut diolah secara matematik. Selain itu direview dan evaluasi dari Pengolahan air limbah domestik, industri ada di Batam. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa potensi pemanfaatan daur ulang air limbah domestik kawasan industri, perhotelan dan kawasan permukiman (rumah susun) akan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 47,98 % dari kebutuhan air baku industri atau dapat menambah kebutuhan air baku kota Batam sebanyak 12,92 % pada tahun 2035 dan 12,27 % pada tahun 2045.

Abstract

The community has managed the benzoin forest in Paung Village, Pollung District, for hundreds of years, but the land ownership status is state land. In line with government programs to involve the community in forest management, such as by establishing social forests, it is necessary to conduct preparations such as mapping the boundaries of community forest management. In this community service activity, the boundaries of community benzoin forest management have been mapped with the application of geospatial technology, namely the integration of remote sensing satellite technology and the Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine boundary coordinates. Boundary mapping of the benzoin forest was carried out in a participatory manner by directly involving the community who had conducted activities in the benzoin forest. Based on mapping the boundaries of the Benzoin forest management area, the average area managed by the community is around 2 ha per family. The monitoring results around the benzoin forest show decreased vegetation cover. But the vegetation land cover in the Benzoin forest management area of ​​the Paung village Forest Village community has not changed. The benzoin forest area of ​​the Puang village community is maintained since the community uses benzoin resin, so trees are not cut down.

Abstract

Peningkatan kebutuhan bahan konstruksi saat ini khususnya konstruksi bangunan beton telah menuntut perlunya inovasi pengembangan teknologi beton yang berkelanjutan. Untuk itu diperlukan inovasi teknologi beton sehingga diperoleh Beton yang berkinerja tinggi dan ramah lingkungan. Sampai saat ini Pengembangan inovasi Teknologi beton terus dilakukan para ahli guna memenuhi kebutuhan beton pada berbagai jenis konstruksi yang terus meningkat. Pengembangan Beton Kinerja Tinggi yang berkelanjutan adalah teknik pengembangan material konstruksi yang cukup tepat dan baik untuk memperoleh kekuatan dan daya tahan beton yang tinggi sehingga dapat mengurangi kebutuhan volume beton dan biaya konstruksinya. Tantangannya adalah bagaimana mengembangkan teknologi beton agar dapat menghasilkan beton berkinerja tinggi dan ramah lingkungan untuk dapat mengantisipasi kebutuhan permintaan volume beton yang terus meningkat pesat. Teknologi Beton Kinerja Tinggi yang berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan adalah salah satu cara terbaik untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut
