Abstract

This study aims to conduct and see the overall organizational picture of the Bengkulu City Water Supply Company (PDAM) performance appraisal using the Balanced Scorecard approach. seen from four perspectives, namely: financial perspective, customer perspective, internal business perspective, and learning and growth perspective. From the results of research on the Performance Measurement of Regional Drinking Water Companies (PDAMs) Bengkulu City using the Balanced Scorecard approach from a financial perspective through current ratios, profit margins, operation ratios, return on investment shows that the company's financial performance is in good condition. For performance measurement based on customer perspective from customer acquistion, customer retention, customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction can be said to be good. Furthermore, the relationship / coleration of performance based on the perspective of internal business processes on the variables of motivation, alignment power, has a level of influence of 50.9% with a significance level of <5% or 0%, but for trainings it has a significance level of below 5% or equal to 0%. Whereas for performance based on the perspective of learning and growth on employee satisfaction, employee retention, productivity makes a positive contribution to the improvement of the company's economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sales budget in increasing profits at Dadang Shop in Sukamakmur Village of Marga Sakti Sebelat Sub-District in North Bengkulu Regency. The data collection technique is the most strategic step in the study, because the main objective of the study is to obtain data. The results of this study indicate that the Sales Budget at Dadang Shop in Sukamakmur Village is quite effective in increasing the price. From the 2019 sales budget using the Least Square method, which is IDR 154,219,538,011, realized IDR 4,270,649,857, above a budget of IDR 4,116,429,948,989 by an increase of the number of customers and an increase of the number of products sold. Meanwhile, from the sales budget for January 2019 using the sales budget calculation of IDR 574,016,114.91, this increase is due to the number of customers and the number of products being sold continues to increase every month.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the index of community satisfaction in health services in Siti Aisyah Hospital of Lubuk Linggau. The analytical method used is the Community Satisfaction Index (CSI) with 9 service elements in accordance with The Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment Regulation and Bureaucratic Reform No. 14 of 2017. The sample in this study amounted to 80 respondents. The results showed that service satisfaction in Siti Aisyah Hospital of Lubuk Linggau was good, it could be seen that the high of the Community Satisfaction Index score was 82,672 which included in the service quality category was "B", which means the service quality was good of the nine service elements used. Cost/tariff is the service element with the highest index value with a CSI value of 3.53 with a CSI conversion value of 88.13 with a good performance category. While the element with the lowest index value is the behavior of the implementer with an IKM value of and low indicator with an average value of 3.06, the CSI conversion value of 76.56 is found in the behavior of the implementer with a good category.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to identify the internal and external factors, to determine the strategic priorities and also to formulate the alternative strategies that can be applied to sell Zalzia Soy Milk in Bengkulu City. This is a qualitative study that took 55 respondents as the sample. In order to collect the data, the writers used questionnaires and documentation which then analyzed by using SWOT Analysis. From the results of the study, it was found that IFAS and EFAS, the strength of the Zalzia Soy Milk Business in Bengkulu City was 37.82 while the weakness was 1.24 so the cell (quadrant) of internal factors was 37.82 - 1.24 = 36.58. Moreover, the opportunities possessed the strategy is 27.04 with a threat of 16.13 so the cell (quadrant) of external factors is 27.04 - 16.13 = 10.91 which is in quadrant cell 1 on the SWOT analysis diagram. Finally, the aggressive marketing strategy that can be used is to improve the taste, quality and quantity of the product and also to recognize the characteristics of the marketing environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment, work conflict and work stress on employee performance at the Mercure Hotel Bengkulu. This type of research is a survey research with a quantitative approach, the object of this research is the employees at the Mercure Hotel Bengkulu which is precisely located on Jl. S. Parman No.27, Padang Jati, Kec. Ratu Samban, Bengkulu City with the sampling method, namely the total sampling technique. The number of respondents in this study was 50 people. In this research, the authors use data collection methods by means of observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires. By using data analysis techniques using test instruments namely validity test and reliability test, classical assumption test, namely multicollinearity test, normality test. and Heteroscedasticity Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis Test, Coefficient of Determination (R2), and Hypothesis Test, namely t test and f test. The results of this study can be concluded that the Work Environment variable has a partially significant effect on the Employee Performance of Mercure Hotel Bengkulu, Work Conflict has a partially significant effect on the Employee Performance of Mercure Hotel Bengkulu, Job stress has a partially significant effect on the Employee Performance of Mercure Hotel Bengkulu, and the Work Environment. Work Conflict and Job Stress have a significant effect simultaneously on Employee Performance at Mercure Hotel Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and entrepreneurial mentality on accounting students' interest in entrepreneurship. Interest in entrepreneurship is a sense of preference and a sense of interest in a thing or activity, without anyone telling. In conducting research, the researcher uses the survey method. Based on the Slovin formula, the research sample obtained is 50 people from a total population of 102 people using the accidental sampling method. To find out the interest in entrepreneurship in accounting students at the University of Dehasen Bengkulu, the researcher used a questionnaire distributed via google form. The results show that: 1). Motivation has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest as indicated by the value of t-count > t-table (3.780 > 2.012). 2). Entrepreneurial mentality has a positive and significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship as indicated by the value of t-count > t-table (4.753 > 2.012). 3). Entrepreneurial motivation and mentality have a positive and significant effect together on interest in entrepreneurship as indicated by the F-count > F-table (61.378 > 3.20).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the condition of the financial statements and the application of SAK EMKM at Wildan Shop UMKM. SAK EMKM is an accounting standard prepared by DSAK for micro, small and medium enterprises. This study uses a descriptive approach. To find out the application of SAK EMKM at the shop, the researcher used direct observation and interview techniques. The results showed that the shop did not record financial statements in accordance with SAK EMKM and there was no structured and detailed recording of income and expenses in its accounting reports. In making the financial statements, the shop makes records based on their own wishes without applying SAK EMKM and focuses on meeting needs and income in the business without considering accounting matters in accordance with SAK EMKM. Thus, the shop as a whole has made a mistake even though basically it can still run and continue to grow.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of emotional intelligence and work achievement on the performance of State Civil Apparatus at the Regional Secretariat of Kaur Regency. The sample in this study was 79 State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Regional Secretariat of Kaur Regency. The data was collected using a questionnaire and the analytical methods used were multiple linear regression, determination test and hypothesis testing. The results of the regression analysis showed Y = 8,641 +0,312X1 +0,492 X2, this describes a positive regression direction, meaning that there is a positive influence between X1 (emotional intelligence) and X2 (work achievement) on performance (Y). It means that if the variables of emotional intelligence and work achievement increase, it will increase performance. The value of the coefficient of determination is 0.501. This means that X1 (emotional intelligence) and X2 (work achievement) affect performance (Y) by 50.1% while the remaining 49.9% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The significance of 0.05 explains that partially emotional intelligence and work achievement variables have a significant influence on the variable performance of State Civil Apparatus at Regional Secretariat of Kaur Regency. The results of F test at a significance level of 0.05 explained that the variables of emotional intelligence and work achievement had a significant influence on performance of State Civil Apparatus at the Regional Secretariat of Kaur Regency

Abstract

Consumer satisfaction is a condition where consumer feel satisfy or dissatisfy after his want and hope toward the available menu, price, facility and service are granted. Consumers will satisfy if his want or hope is granted while he will feel dissatisfy if his want and hope is not available. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of taste, performance quality and price toward customer’s satisfaction at Uda Denai restaurant in Bengkulu city. The sample of this research is 140 customers of Uda Denai restaurant in Bengkulu city. Data are collected by using questionnaire and analysis method which used in this research is multiple linear regression, determination test and hypothesis test. The result shows that multiple linear regression shows that there is a positive influence from taste, service quality and price toward customers’satisfaction in Uda Denai restaurant in Bengkulu city. Because the regression shows positive value, Y = 10,794+ 0,178X1 + 0,397X2 + 0,137X3 + e. Taste has significance influence toward customers’ satisfaction. Because the significance score is 0,015 smaller than 0,05. Price has significance influence toward customers’ satisfaction toward customers at Uda Denai restaurant in Bengkulu City, because significance score is 0,000 smaller than 0,05. Price has the significance influence toward customers’ satisfaction at Uda Denai restaurant because the significance score is 0,028 smaller than 0,05. Taste, service quality and price influenced together toward customers’ satisfaction. It means that earlier hypothesis is proofed (Ha is accepted). It means there’s a significance influence between taste, service quality and price toward customers’ satisfaction together with determination coefficient from R square (0,454). It means that taste, service quality and price influence the customers’ satisfaction with score 45,4% while the other (100-45,4%=54,6%) is influenced by other factors which is not observed by this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the financial statements of randy variasi store in Sukamakmur Village, Marga Sakti Sebelat Sub-District, North Bengkulu, whether it includes Financial Accounting standards for micro, small, Medium Entites (SAK EMKM). This type of research is descriptive and comparative. The data analysis technique used is a qualitive method, namely the theoretical concept and description of the object of research as well as a comparison of the two presentations of the research results by collecting financial data made by the store. The research found that the store has not compiled and presented financial reports in accordance with the provisions of the financial accounting Standards for Micro Small and Medium Entites (SAK-EMKM), the store is supposed to presents 3 (three) types of financial statements, namely statements in practive, Randy Variasi Store only provides monthly cash statements and annual cash reports.
