Abstract

Cervical cancer is still a frightening thing for women and is the second deadliest cancer after breast cancer in Indonesia. The high incidence of cervical cancer in Indonesia is influenced by low screening coverage. Until 2021, only 6.83% of women aged 30–50 years had undergone screening examinations using the IVA method. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of Women of Childbearing Age (WUS) in carrying out early detection of cervical cancer using the Acetic Acid Visual Inspection (IVA) method. This research applies an analytical survey design with a cross-sectional design, with a sample of 86 WUS selected using accidental sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire, the data obtained was then analyzed using the Chi square test. The analysis results show that the p value = 0.00. It could be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of knowledge of Women of Childbearing Age (WUS) in carrying out early detection of cervical cancer using the Acetic Acid Visual Inspection (IVA) method.

Abstract

General anesthesia is a condition in which the patient loses consciousness completely after taking certain medications. Sore throat is a common complication in postoperative patients with general anesthesia after extubation with laryngeal mask airway or endotracheal tube. The aim of this study was to compare the level of throat pain after extubation using an endotracheal tube versus a laryngeal mask airway. Methods: A quantitative cross-sectional approach was utilized, with accidental sampling as the technique. The study sample comprised 78 respondents who underwent surgery and were extubated with either an endotracheal tube or a laryngeal mask airway at Dr. Soedirman Hospital, Kebumen. Data analysis was conducted using the Mann-Whitney test. Results: Each group, consisting of endotracheal tube and laryngeal mask airway users, had 39 respondents. Throat pain was reported by 34 respondents (84.6%) in the endotracheal tube group and 27 respondents (69.2%) in the laryngeal mask airway group. The Mann-Whitney test yielded a p-value of 0.022, which is less than 0.05. Conclusion: There is a significant difference in the level of sore throat in postoperative patients with the laryngeal extubation technique with the laryngeal mask air way extubation technique and the endotracheal tube extubation technique at dr. Soedirman Kebumen Hospital.

Abstract

The high prevalence of stunting is a global problem of great concern. Efforts to reduce stunting are to provide additional food to children locally to improve their nutritional status. The purpose of making this literature review is to find out the effectiveness, influence, success of the program, and efforts to provide additional food to stunted toddlers. This literature review uses several sources, namely Sinta accredited journals related to supplementary feeding which can be searched using google scholar and the SINTA database. Based on the findings of 16 studies of supplementary feeding made from local food in stunted toddlers, there was an increase in body weight and height when supplementary feeding was given for at least 30 days. Tempeh, rebon shrimp, and moringa are local foods that are easily available and relatively cheap. They also have high nutritional value. After being given tempe, rebon shrimp, and moringa, as local foods, the toddler's height increased significantly.

Abstract

Malnutrition is still a serious health scourge in Indonesia, especially in rural areas. National Health Research (Riskesnas) 2021 shows that the prevalence of stunting in children under five in Indonesia still reaches 24.6%. This figure shows that there are still many children in Indonesia who lack adequate nutritional intake. One effort to overcome the problem of malnutrition is to educate the public about a balanced diet. ISI PIRINGKU is presented as a balanced nutritional guide that is easy to implement and in accordance with local culture. This guide divides the plate into half containing complex carbohydrates, such as brown rice, sweet potatoes, or corn; a quarter of the plate contains protein, such as fish, chicken, or tempeh; and a quarter of the plate contains vegetables and fruit
