Abstract

The accelerated expansion of quick commerce has sharpened rivalry among digital retail platforms, compelling business actors to formulate robust marketing approaches and ensure excellent service performance in order to sustain customer involvement. This study was undertaken to examine the degree to which digital marketing strategy and service quality contribute to customer engagement, while also assessing the explanatory role of customer experience in linking these variables among users of ASTRO’s 24-hour quick commerce service in Indonesia. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed, utilizing survey data gathered from 285 active ASTRO users who had completed transactions during the preceding three months. The collected data were processed using PLS-SEM. The findings reveal that digital marketing strategy exerts a significant effect on customer experience (β = 0.578, p < 0.001), and service quality likewise produces a positive and significant influence on customer experience (β = 0.406, p < 0.001). In addition, customer experience is shown to have a significant impact on customer engagement (β = 0.449, p < 0.001). Digital marketing strategy and service quality are also proven to make meaningful contributions to customer engagement, while customer experience serves as a key mechanism in clarifying customer behavioral responses. These results emphasize the necessity of harmonizing well-directed digital marketing efforts with reliable service delivery to generate favorable customer experiences and reinforce customer engagement. This study enriches the expanding body of scholarship on digital marketing and consumer behavior in the quick commerce sector, while offering managerial implications for strengthening customer relationships within increasingly competitive digital business environments.

Abstract

This article aims to systematically examine the relationship between talent development, digital skills training, and career advancement opportunities on employee performance, with job competency serving as an intervening variable. The approach employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) based on the PRISMA protocol, analyzing 67 Scopus-indexed scientific articles published within the last five years. The synthesis results reveal that all three core variables consistently contribute positively to performance improvement, both directly and indirectly through job competency. The findings also highlight that most existing studies remain fragmented and have not yet fully integrated a comprehensive multi-path mediation model. Furthermore, there is a prevailing tendency toward descriptive approaches and a lack of cross-cultural and cross-sectoral empirical testing. This study proposes a new conceptual model based on the integration of strategic HRM variables and offers a theoretical contribution to the development of competency-based performance frameworks. The practical implications are directed toward organizations in designing adaptive, digital-based, and sustainability-oriented human resource development strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of community in women’s empowerment within the MoM Academy Regional South Tangerang community. Women in modern society continue to face various social, psychological, and economic challenges that influence their self-development and participation in social life. In this context, women-based communities play an important role in providing social support, self-development opportunities, and empowerment spaces for women. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method and a constructivist paradigm. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies involving community leaders, administrators, and active members of MoM Academy Regional South Tangerang selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that the community functions not only as a social gathering space but also as a medium for women’s empowerment through digital training, public speaking, entrepreneurship, and self-development activities. The community successfully builds a strong sense of belonging, emotional support, and interpersonal communication among members. Furthermore, the community contributes positively to increasing women’s self-confidence, communication skills, digital competencies, social participation, and economic independence. Women who were previously limited to domestic activities became more confident in expressing opinions, participating in social activities, and generating additional income through digital-based activities and home businesses. The study concludes that MoM Academy Regional South Tangerang plays a significant role as a social support system and agent of social change in strengthening women’s empowerment socially, psychologically, and economically. The existence of supportive women’s communities is essential in creating inclusive social spaces that encourage women to become more independent, confident, and productive in modern society.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how Sundanese culture-based political communication is constructed through social media to form a political hyperreality in the midst of West Java society. The research uses a qualitative approach with dramaturgical analysis methods from Erving Goffman and hyperreality theory from Jean Baudrillard. Social media is no longer just a space for political communication, but has turned into a stage for symbolic performances that display images of closeness, simplicity, religiosity, and local cultural identity. Sundanese culture is used as a symbolic instrument to build political legitimacy through emotional and populist digital visualization. Research has found that local culture-based political content on social media tends to produce simulated realities that the public consumes as socio-political truth. In these conditions, the boundary between political reality and digital imagery becomes blurred. The dramaturgy of digital politics finally gives birth to hyperreality, which is a situation when media representations are more reliable than empirical reality in the field.
