Abstract

This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of work motivation and work environment on employee performance at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional II Unit PKS Sosa. This research is a quantitative study applying a survey method with structured questionnaires for data collection. The respondents involved were 58 male employees. Data analysis methods included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test) using SPSS version 23 software. The results showed that partially, work motivation had a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.018 < 0.05 (t-statistic 2.429). The work environment also significantly affected employeeperformance partially with a significance value of 0.006 < 0.05 (t-statistic 2.888). Simultaneously, work motivation and work environment had a significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 (F-statistic 19.651). The coefficient of determination (R2) of 41.7% indicated that both independent variables could explain employee performance variants, while the remaining 58.3% was influenced by other variables outside this research model. Based on the partial test, the work environment was identified as the most dominant variable affecting employee performance at PKS Sosa due to its smaller significance value.

Abstract

The utilization of coffee husk waste (cascara) as a functional drink still faces obstacles due to low consumer acceptance because of its less favored taste and aroma. This study aimed to determine the effect of cascara tea formulation with the addition of ginger and roselle on physicochemical quality and consumer acceptance. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) non-factorial with four treatments and three replications, namely C0 (100% cascara), C1 (50% cascara + 50% ginger), C2 (50% cascara + 50% roselle), and C3 (40% cascara + 30% ginger + 30% roselle). Parameters observed included moisture content, pH, organoleptic characteristics (aroma, color, taste), and total phenols in the best treatment. The results showed that the formulation had a significant effect on pH (P<0.05), aroma, and taste (P<0.01), but no significant effect on moisture content and color (P>0.05).. The best treatment was obtained in C3 with an aroma score of 3.84 and a color score of 4.50. Analysis of total phenols in the best treatment showed a value of 44.39%. The combination of cascara, ginger, and rosella can improve consumer acceptance and produce an herbal drink that has the potential as a source of natural antioxidants.

Abstract

The transformation towards sustainable business practices positions employee green behavior as a strategic element in supporting the success of an organization's environmental agenda, particularly in sectors with high ecological risks such as the mining support services industry. Although various environmental management policies and standards have been implemented, internalizing green behavior at the individual employee level remains a challenge that requires managerial attention. This study aims to analyze the influence of green leadership and work environment on employee green behavior through the mediating role of job satisfaction at PT Barana Medayu Sejahtera, West Kutai Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory design . The entire population was used as respondents using a questionnaire technique. Saturated sampling . Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using the method Structural Equation Modeling– Partial Least Squares ( SEM-PLS ). The results of the study show that green leadership and the work environment influence employee job satisfaction and green behavior. Job satisfaction has also been shown to influence employee green behavior and is able to mediate the relationship between green leadership , work environment, and employee green behavior. These findings indicate that an organization's success in building a sustainable work culture is not only determined by formal environmental policies, but also by the leader's ability to instill ecological values and create a work environment that provides a positive work experience for employees. This research enriches the study of green organizational behavior in the context of the extractive industry while providing practical implications for companies in designing sustainability strategies that are oriented towards strengthening human aspects and an environmentally friendly work culture.

Commercial bank management in Indonesia is the process of managing banking activities, including planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising bank resources effectively and efficiently, while adhering to prudential principles and applicable regulations. The goal of commercial bank management is to manage all bank operational activities effectively and efficiently. Islamic banking, on the other hand, is a banking system that conducts its business activities based on Islamic sharia principles, as stipulated in Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 21 of 2008 concerning Islamic Banking. These sharia principles prohibit usury, gharar, maysir, and business activities that conflict with Islamic values. So that Islamic bank management can be said to be more holistic and ethical, while remaining competitive in the national banking system.

Abstract

Research on social forestry governance in supporting sustainable forest management continues to grow along with increasing attention to the issues of deforestation, climate change, and empowerment of forest communities. However, this research development is still scattered across various themes, so an analysis is needed to map the structure of knowledge and the direction of the study's development comprehensively. This study aims to analyze publication trends, dominant themes, and the conceptual structure of research related to social forestry governance using a bibliometric approach. Research data was obtained from the Scopus database with a publication range of 2014–2024 using the keywords social forestry, community forestry, forest governance, and sustainable forest management. A total of 294 publications were analyzed using Bibliometrix, Biblioshiny, and VOSviewer software through co-occurrence analysis, thematic maps, and Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA). The results show that the trend of scientific publications has experienced a significant increase, especially after 2018. Dominant themes in the research include forest management, community forestry, forest governance, sustainability, ecosystem services, and conservation. The analysis also shows that social forestry research is developing in a multidisciplinary manner, focusing on collaborative governance, community participation, environmental sustainability, and institutional strengthening in forest management. Thus, social forestry governance plays a crucial role in supporting sustainable forest management through the integration of social, economic, and ecological aspects.

Abstract

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives have become increasingly important in contemporary organizations, yet their effectiveness is often evaluated through a business-case perspective emphasizing productivity, innovation, and financial performance. This study aims to move beyond such perspectives by examining the relationship between DEI initiatives and psychological ownership through an intersectional lens. Using a qualitative narrative literature review approach, relevant studies from organizational behavior, human resource management, diversity management, and social psychology were analyzed to identify key themes and theoretical insights. The findings indicate that DEI initiatives foster psychological ownership by enhancing employees’ perceptions of fairness, inclusion, belonging, recognition, and participation. The review further demonstrates that the impact of DEI initiatives varies across employees with different intersecting social identities, highlighting the importance of intersectionality in understanding workplace experiences. This study contributes to the literature by positioning psychological ownership as a critical employee-centered outcome and advocating for more inclusive and intersectionally informed DEI strategies.
