Abstract

This study analyzes how the 7P marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence) influences purchasing decisions at Kutaradja Fried Chicken Darussalam. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 100 customers via questionnaires and analyzed through regression and hypothesis testing. Results showed that price, promotion, and physical evidence individually affected purchasing decisions (p < 0.05), while product, place, people, and process did not. However, all seven factors together significantly influenced decisions, explaining 66.4% of the variation (R² = 0.664). The findings suggest that competitive pricing, strong promotions, and appealing physical evidence are crucial for attracting customers. Although some elements lacked individual impact, their combined effect highlights the need for an integrated strategy. Kutaradja Fried Chicken should prioritize pricing, promotions, and store ambiance while maintaining balance across all 7Ps. This study offers practical insights for local fast-food businesses to strengthen marketing effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how service quality, price, and promotion influence customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction acting as a mediating variable at XYZ Beauty Clinic in Banjarmasin. A descriptive quantitative approach was applied, using structured questionnaires distributed to 150 respondents who had received services within the past year. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares technique. The results show that service quality significantly influences satisfaction, but does not lead to loyalty through satisfaction. In contrast, price and promotion have direct and significant effects on both satisfaction and loyalty. Customer satisfaction does not statistically mediate the relationship between service quality, price, promotion, and loyalty. These findings indicate that customers in the productive age group at XYZ Clinic are more influenced by economic factors and promotional offers rather than emotional satisfaction in forming brand loyalty. This study contributes to understanding the trend of transactional loyalty and highlights the importance of combining emotional connection with clear value propositions to build sustainable loyalty strategies.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how consumers loyalty to Vaseline goods is affected in the Kupang City neighborhood via emotional branding, human selling, and electronic word-of-mouth. The study uses an associative technique and a quantitative survey method. Data were collected with a survey table of 100 respondents of Vaseline product consumers in Kupang City. The primary data obtained were processed using the SPSS application. The technique for collecting data involved distributing questionnaires, while the method used for data analysis was multiple linear regression, with hypothesis testing conducted in conjunction with the F-test, t-test, and the coefficient of determination (R2) test. The findings showed that, while emotional branding had no discernible impact on customer loyalty, Both electronic and human word-of-mouth marketing had a favorable and considerable impact. Furthermore, it was discovered that customer loyalty was significantly impacted by the three independent variables taken together. According to the coefficient of determination (R2), consumer characteristics may be explained by the elements of digital word-of-mouth, personal selling, and emotional branding. The study's conclusions also provide valuable information for Kupang City's Vaseline product marketing plan. Companies need to focus on personal selling and electronic word of mouth because they have been proven to increase consumer loyalty. Conversely, the emotional branding strategy needs to be evaluated because it has not had a significant impact.

The Pentagon Fraud Theory identifies five elements that drive fraudulent behavior: pressure, opportunity, rationalization, competence, and arrogance, but their empirical relevance may vary across industries. This study aims to examine the influence of these five elements, proxied by Return on Assets, Total Receivables Ratio, Total Accrual Ratio, Director Change, and dualism of positions, on Financial Statement Fraud in banking sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research design used is a causal relationship study with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 56 trading sector companies listed on the IDX from 2021 to 2023. The type of data used in this study is secondary data. And the data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis conducted with the help of Eviews software. The results in this study indicate that not all Pentagon Fraud elements are relevant in detecting financial statement fraud, highlighting the importance of a contextual and industry-specific approach in refining fraud risk assessment and contributing to the development of a more nuanced application of the Pentagon Fraud Theory in empirical research.
