Abstract

Background: A quarter-life crisis is when individuals experience an emotional crisis with negative feelings toward the future. Many responsibilities and demands on fourth-year students affect their psychology. A person with good self-awareness makes it easier to control emotions, read the surrounding situation, not be easily affected, and focus on himself. This study aims to analyse the relationship between self-awareness and quarter-life crisis in the final years of undergraduate nursing students. Methods: This research design is correlational with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 87 people, which was the whole population (Total Sampling). The research instrument used a self-awareness questionnaire and a quarter-life crisis questionnaire—data analysis using the Spearman Rank. Results: The study results showed that most respondents (55.2%) had sufficient emotional self-awareness, and most (52%) experienced a moderate quarter-life crisis. Analysis using the Spearman Rank test obtained a p-value of 0.018 with an error level of α = 0.05, meaning that there is a relationship between emotional self-awareness and quarter-life crisis with a strong category strength (r = -0.54) Conclusion: Some factors affect self-awareness, namely thoughts, feelings, knowledge behaviour, environment, and quarter-life crisis internal factors such as identity exploration, expectations, and religion, while external factors such as romantic relationships, work, family, and friends. Self-introspection strategies can increase self-awareness. Dealing with a crisis is not comparing yourself with others, communicating with parents, or finding professionals if the problem is getting complicated

Explain the Effectiveness of the Module for Pregnant Women based on Nutrition education, Nutritional Status, Knowledge, and attitudes of Pregnant Women in efforts to prevent stunting. Methods: The research design is pre-experimental with one group pre-test and post-test. They are held at one of the Puskesmas in Palembang from June to September 2023. Sampel is pregnant women with inclusion criteria, measuring nutritional status, knowledge, and attitudes of pregnant women before and after intervention with the Pregnant Women Module. Probability sampling variables and research variables of knowledge level, attitude, and nutritional status. The instruments used are questionnaires, and data are analysed with t-test statistics. Results: Based on the T-test, there was a significant influence on respondents' level of knowledge and attitudes after being given treatment. The t-test (2-tail) result > 0.05 showed no significant difference between initial and late nutritional status based on HB measurements. This showed no significant effect of treatment with the module of pregnant women on nutritional status. While nutritional status is based on LILA measurements, The T-test results have a significance value (2-tail) < 0.05. This shows that there is a significant effect of intervention on nutritional status after being given treatment Conclusion: The nutrition education-based module for pregnant women has a significant effect on the level of knowledge and attitudes of respondents. There was an increase in knowledge, attitudes, and nutritional status of respondents after nutrition education. It is hoped that pregnant women, after nutrition education, can understand more about Balanced Nutrition and stunting prevention during pregnancy and after childbirth. They are processing the daily food menu with healthy and nutritious food ingredients so that chronic lack of energy and anaemia do not occur during pregnancy.

Abstract

Background: Herpes Zoster (HZ) is a reactivation of the Varicella Zoster Virus (VVZ), which is characterized by an acute unilateral vesicular eruption grouped with radicular pain around the dermatome. The incidence of HZ increases with age and is rare in children. The prevalence of HZ in children can occur if they have a history of primary intrauterine infection, are immunocompromised, and are infected with varicella in the first year of life. Methods: The research design used a case study on one of the patients at the PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital Surakarta Polyclinic. The instruments include informed consent and demographic data questionnaires. Results: Ms B, 15 years old, came to the Skin and Venereology Clinic, PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Hospital on December 28, 2022 with complaints of itching and heat, a lesion in the form of multiple clustered vesicles, round in shape, with a size of 0.3- 0.5 cm above the skin, erythematous, unilateral, not crossing the midline, the age of the cysts in one group is the same. Still, with other groups, it is not the same; the skin between groups is normal. Treatment was given acyclovir 4x800 mg per day taken orally for five days, triamcinolone 4 mg/day, compressed NaCl 15 minutes 2x daily, calamine lotion 2x daily on intact lesions and mupirocin calcium on open wounds. Conclusion: Maintaining the body's immune system and managing stress, as well as getting the varicella vaccine/measles vaccine, can prevent the occurrence of shingles
