Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of industry concentration to future stock return. We analyze all industries listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange over 2007 - 2009 period. By using regression analysis, the result shows that companies operating in less concentrated or more competitive industries generate higher future stock return. In another word, firms in more concentrated or less competitive earn lower future stock return. In addition, this study reveals that size has negative effect on future stock return, while leverage show not such effect. This result indicates that there is difference in the size of companies. Indonesian concentrated industries are dominated by the large compenies. Keywords: industries concentration, industries stock return, competitive industries

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to test difference of decision making on brand loyal group andnon brand loyal group, association between demographical factor and brand loyal group and nonbrand loyal group, and difference in postpurchase satisfaction on brand loyal group with high priceand non brand loyal group with low price. Data analysis technique used were discriminant analysis,Chi-Square, and t-test. Result of the research indicated that there is no difference in shoppingorientation and buying criteria on brand loyal group and non brand loyal group for Jeans and shirtsproducts. Age and income variables had no association with brand loyal group and non brand loyalgroup for Jeans and shirt products. In addition, there was no difference in post-purchase satisfactionbrand loyal group with high price and non brand loyal group with low price for Jeans product, butthere was association for shirt product.Keywords: Brand Loyalty, Shopping Orientation, Buying Criteria, Age, Income, andPost-Purchase Satisfaction

Abstract

This research qamines the effect of agenqt problem and inside shareholder on company's diversification poliqt. It is also intent to etcamine the effect of diversification on firm value and the ffict of inside shareholder on agency problern. The inside shareholder will be divided into two categories which are:managerial owhership and stock held by the company subsidiaries. The Herfindahl Index will be used to measure the lertel of diuersiJication, whilst the agency problem will be measured using the ratio of selling and general administrative cost. Moreover, the existence of compalry eJccess value derivefro* the company's diversification will be used to identify the firm value. Using the purposive random sampling method, the total sample drawn fro*.The Jakarta Stock Exchange fro* 2002 to 2005 are 160 companies with the accdption for companies within the financial sectors. Using multiple linear regression, the result shows positive and significant effect of agency problem on company's diversification policy. On the contrary, the result fail to demonstrate the ffict of diversification on firm value as well as the effect of inside shareholders on both agenq) problem and diversification. The analysis indicates that tte best method based om the MAD ond the MSE is the upanential smoothing fucause theforecasting erroris the smallest among the 5 methods. Abstract

Many survei and research found that Micro, small and medium entreprizes, have some difficulties to access banking sector for a credit. Many constraints to the banking sector can be devided into two categories, first is financial factors and the other is non financial factors.Using logistic regression with 200 respondents, this paper want to identify key factors to access the bank. It found that financial factors did not cause their probability to acces the bank increasingly. But, non financial factor, that is their experiences to have relation withtheir supplier, was caused their probability to access bank sector significantly. From this result, the policy and framework to support Micro, small and medium entreprizes accessingthe banking sectors should consider their relationships with their supplier, or more wider their communication and skill to make sustainable network.Keywords: Access to Banking, SMEs, Credit

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan kebijakan dividen sebagai variabel mediasi pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Populasi yang digunakan adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2016-2018. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 19 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen. Ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kebijakan dividen. Kebijakan dividen berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Profitabilitas berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Kata kunci: profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, kebijakan dividen, nilai perusahaan  ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine the effect of profitability and company size on firm value with dividend policy as a mediating variable in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The data used in this research is secondary data. The population used is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period of 2016-2018. The research sample of 19 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Data collection techniques using purposive sampling method. Data analysis using the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, path analysis. The results showed that profitability had a significant positive effect on dividend policy. The size of the company has a significant positive effect on dividend policy. Dividend policy has a significant positive effect on firm value. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to examine the effect of product and place to customer intention to buy online coffee product on Otten Coffee website. Data for this study were collected by offline administered survey to 200 respondents in five districts in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. They areGunung Kidul, Kulon Progo, Sleman, Bantul, and Kotamadya Yogyakarta. The hyphotesis testing was conducted using multiple regression analysis. Findings of this study indicate that product and price have strong influence on customers’ intention to buy online coffee product in Otten Coffee.Keyword: online product, customers intention.ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti pengaruh dari variabel produk dan tempat terhadap minat konsumen untuk membeli produk kopi di situs online Otten Coffee. Abstract

This study aimed to get empirical evidence about the influence of Dividend Policy, InvestmentDecisions, Decisions Funding, Managerial Ownership and Institutional Ownership as theindependent variable on the dependent variable value as a company. This study used a sample usingpurposive sampling techniques in manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange inLQ45 index period 2008-2013. Total sample of this research is 20 companies. Abstract

The growing of modern market such as minimarket, supermarket and hypermarket, has an impact on Indonesian customer shopping behavior. Traditionally, many customers visit traditional market for daily needs purchasing. However, recently customers have switched their visit -from traditional to modern retail market. The aim of this research is to examinewhat factors affict customer to visit and spend their monE) in supennarket.The result shows tliat there are two significant factors that generate the switching behavior. Firstly, the factor called Hedonic Yalue, which ,s *"orurid by store layout, lighting, music, location, information technology supporting anC human resources capabilities. Secondly, the factor calledUtilitarian Value, measured by product completeness, product layout, store image and price competitiveness.
