Focus and Scope Jurnal Riset Manajemen dan Bisnis (p-ISSN: 1907-7343; e-ISSN: 2714-7312) adalah jurnal yang dipublikasikan oleh Fakultas Bisnis Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana yang terbit dua kali setahun (Juli dan Desember). Abstract

Research on the insurance industry in Indonesia is an interesting study to do. The development of the insurance industry in Indonesia has increased by an average of 30% per year, even in 2016 there was an increase of around 78.1% compared to 2015. This makes competition among insurance companies more stringent. The topic of loyalty in the insurance industry is important for the survival of an insurance company.This study aims to examine the effect of salesperson expertise, subjective norms, service quality, customer satisfaction, commitment, corporate image, switching intention, and communication on customer loyalty. A total of 100 questionnaires were distributed to insurance users in Yogyakarta using purposive sampling. The results of the study state that all hypotheses built can be supported, or that there is a significant influence on salesperson expertise, subjective norms, service quality, customer satisfaction, commitment, corporate image, switching intention, and communication on customer loyalty. Keywords:loyalty, salesperson expertise, subjective norms, service quality, customer satisfaction, commitment, corporate image, switching intention, and communication ABSTRAK Penelitian tentang industri asuransi di Indonesia adalah studi yang menarik untuk dilakukan. Perkembangan industri asuransi di Indonesia telah meningkat rata-rata 30% per tahun, bahkan pada tahun 2016 ada peningkatan sekitar 78,1% dibandingkan tahun 2015. Hal ini membuat persaingan antar perusahaan asuransi semakin ketat. Topik kesetiaan dalam industri asuransi penting untuk kelangsungan hidup perusahaan asuransi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh keahlian tenaga penjual, norma subyektif, kualitas layanan, kepuasan pelanggan, komitmen, citra perusahaan, niat beralih, dan komunikasi terhadap loyalitas pelanggan. Sebanyak 100 kuesioner dibagikan kepada pengguna asuransi di Yogyakarta menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa semua hipotesis yang dibangun dapat didukung, atau bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keahlian tenaga penjual, norma subjektif, kualitas layanan, kepuasan pelanggan, komitmen, citra perusahaan, niat beralih, dan komunikasi pada loyalitas pelanggan. Kata kunci: kesetiaan, keahlian tenaga penjual, norma subjektif, kualitas layanan, kepuasan pelanggan, komitmen, citra perusahaan, niat beralih, dan komunikasi

Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Selebriti terkenal menjadi pertimbangan yang amat besar untuk menjadi komunikator dalam sebuah iklan, yang biasa disebut sebagai selebriti endorser. Selebriti yang sedang naik daun atau popular diyakini dapat lebih mempengaruhi seseorang untuk mengambil tindakan tertentu sesuai dengan tujuan awal. Iklan adalah salah satu strategi yang dilakukan perusahaan untuk mengomunikasikan produk dan mengenalkan sebuah merek. Bentuk komunikasi ini dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai macam cara, salah satu contohnya adalah iklan yang dipakai oleh produk Luwak White Koffie, dimana didalam iklannya menggunakan Celebrity Endorsement yang bertujuan untuk menarik perhatian calon konsumen ketika melihatnya. Celebrity Endorsement dapat membawa dampak pada dunia periklanan, tergantung dari kepribadian dan kepopuleran dari selebriti tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Kredibilitas Celebrity Endorsement terhadap Brand Image, untuk mengetahui Keahlian Celebrity Endorsement terhadap Brand Image, untuk mengetahui Daya Tarik Celebrity Endorsement terhadap Brand Image, untuk mengetahui Kepercayaan (trustworthiness) Celebrity Endorsement terhadap Brand Image, untuk mengetahui power Celebrity Endorsement terhadap Brand Image serta untuk mengetahui Brand Image terhadap Minat Beli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kredibilitas, keahlian, dayatarik, kepercayaan, power (kekuatan) terhadap brand image pada konsumen produk Luwak White Koffie serta terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara brand image terhadap minat beli konsumen produk Luwak White Koffie di Kota Tegal. Kata kunci : Celebrity Endorsement, Brand Image dan Minat BeliABSTRACT Famous celebrities are a huge consideration for being a communicator in an advertisement, commonly referred to as endorser celebrity. Celebrities who are on the rise or popular are believed to be more able to influence someone to take certain actions in accordance with the initial purpose. Advertising is one of the strategies undertaken by companies to communicate products and introduce a brand. This form of communication can be done in a variety of ways, one of which is the advertisement used by Luwak White Koffie's products, in which the ad uses Celebrity Endorsement which aims to attract the attention of potential consumers when they see it. Celebrity Endorsement can have an impact on the world of advertising, depending on the personality and popularity of the celebrity. The purpose of this study is to determine the credibility of Celebrity Endorsement on Brand Image, to know the Celebrity Endorsement Expertise on Brand Image, to determine the Attractiveness of Celebrity Endorsement towards Brand Image, to find out the trustworthiness of Celebrity Endorsement towards Brand Image, to determine the Celebrity Endorsement power Brand Image and to find out the Brand Image of Buying Interest. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between credibility, expertise, attractiveness, trust, power (strength) on brand image of Luwak White Koffie consumers and there was a positive and significant effect between brand image on consumer buying interest of Luwak White Koffie products in the City Tegal. Keywords: Celebrity Endorsement, Brand Image and Purchase Interest

Abstract

This study examines the effect of consumer’s motivations,perceptions and attitudes toward their purchasing decisions on Plus-Value branded Syrup. This study uses survey methods. The sampels used in this study are 125 respondents. The results show that consumer’s motivation and attitudes positively influence on their purchasing decisions. Meanwhile the perception has no effect on consumer’s purchasing decisions.Keywords: motivation, perception, attitude, purchasing decision.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The craft of a leather puppet in the district Bantul, Province Yogyakarta Special Region in its development experienced tides. Success retreival craft leather puppet skin strongly influenced by among other things, trend with the market demands quality goods, distinctness, value and price. But there is a vital need reckoned that human resources leather puppet characters handicraftsman skin also had an influence upon the way forward in sell their products. So far the role of the craftsman and forced them to market own goods their craft. Idealism character basic craftsman who pushes art of performing this function as artists and forced them role as an entrepreneur craft skin. It is very prevalent business does craft leather puppet skin and entrepreneurs craft leather puppet, eliciting much problem because tends perpetrated by player singular in do everything in good for production, management, marketing, etc. The development of crafts leather puppets are not limited on the orientation of the sheer capital adequacy but also the need for innovation, improvement of production systems, design, quality control, management, marketing system, that it took an understanding of entrepreneurship that is able to equip a small craftsmen as a good businessman. Keywords: character of human resources, marketing, business success. ABSTRAK Perkembangan kerajinan wayang kulit di Kabupaten Bantul, Propinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta cukup menyerap tenaga kerja. Keberhasilan usaha jenis ini perlu diimbangi dengan karakter sumber daya manusia dan kemampuan pegelolaan usaha yang baik agar dapat menangkap peluang pasar. Hanya saja selama ini sektor informal masih banyak kelemahannya karena para pengrajin merangkap kerja dalam segala urusan mulai dari pengerjaan produksi, manajemen, dan sekaligus pemasarannya, karena mereka belum memiliki pemahaman kewirausahaan yang baik. Untuk itulah perlu menjadi perhatian bersama agar sector ini dapat berkembang dengan baik untuk menangkap dan menjajagi pasar guna menjamin kelangsungan usahanya. Kata kunci: karakter pelaku usaha, pemasaran, keberhasilan usaha.

Abstract

This research examines the existence of inter-induxry information on earning announcement especially for companies within specific sector. The sample is derived from companies which announce their earning on 2003 until 2005. Further, the sample is divided into two groups, namely, control sample and treatment sample. The result shows that earning announcement wkich contains good news will be positively responded by the investor. On the contrary, the bad news on earning announcement will be negatively responded. Baised on the result, it can conclude that inter-industry information exist on earning announcement.Keywords: Inter-industry, earning announcement, good news, bad news

Abstract

Telkomsel is the largest sellular operator in Indonesia. In order to achieve its distribution goal, Telkomsel had formulated CDMP strategy. To evaluate the implementation of this strategy, Telkomsel need to hold management audit. This study observed the effectiveness of the CDMP stategy’s implementation in 17 Registered Outlet in Kecamatan Kraton. Abstract

There are 3 phenomens of most economic which undivided that openess and international trade and economic growth. Openess is the first frame for most country to do consolidation for its capability and weakness. International trade have able support high economic growthsignificantly. This paper would like to inform us about development of international economic from Classical Economic era to Modern International Economic (integration of endogenous growth and trade). The analyzis is not only comparative static approach but alsointertemporal approach. Abstract

The more the increase of one's income, travelling becomes an alternative to people’s life style. This research purpose is to see the pattern of tourism and the factors that make a person would like to visit a particular destination. Using the survey with the target of the young generation, the profile analysis results show that the composition of men and women is relatively balanced, The number of respondents from outside Java are more than respondents from Java, the biggest expenditure level is Rp. 500.000 up to Rp. 1,000,000 per month. From factor analysis, result shows seven factors influencing respondent's tourism pattern.Keyword : pattern tourism, young generation, social media, factor analysis ABSTRAK Dengan makin meningkatnya penghasilan seseorang, berwisata menjadi alternatif gaya hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat pola wisata serta faktor-faktor yang membuat seseorang ingin mengunjungi destinasi tertentu. Menggunakan survei dengan target generasi muda, hasil analisis profil menunjukkan komposisi pria dan wanita relatif seimbang, responden dari luar Jawa lebih banyak dibandingkan responden dari Jawa, tingkat pengeluaran terbesar adalah Rp. 500.000,- sampai Rp. 1.000.000,- per bulan. Analisis faktor, didapat tujuh faktor yang mempengaruhi pola wisata responden.Kata kunci: pola wisata, generasi muda, media sosial, analisis faktor

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze and empirically test the significance of partial and simultaneous effect ofinsider ownership, DER, ROE, firm size, IOS, PER, and EPS Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) inmanufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange of 2008 - 2013 period. The results showedthat partially turned out just ROE, IOS, PER, and EPS significantly influence of dividend payoutratio, while the insider ownership, DER, and firm size does not affect significant. Meanwhilesimultaneously, all variables INSDOWN, DER, ROE, FSIZE, IOS, PER, EPS significantly influenceDPR. From coefficient of determination can be concluded that the ability of Insider Ownership, DER,ROE, Firm Size, IOS, PER and EPS in explaining dividend payout ratio amounted to 71.1 per centwhile the remaining 28.9 per cent influenced or explained by other variables not used in this study.Keywords: insider ownership, firm size, investment opportuinity set, earning per share, dividendpayout ratio

Abstract

It is known that brand has the power to attract consumer to buy a product or some services being represented. It also has the role to help the producers to achieve their sales target. Hence, construct a brand in a vigilant way is essential, prior to the competitive advantage that witl be gafned through it. Recently, there is a phenomenon when firms tend to reconstruct their old brand to o new brand name. In Indonesia, one of them is the case of the brand called National-Panasonic, which have been replaced by a new brand name Panasonic. The changing of theNational-Panasonic can obviously notice by the vanishing of this brand name in the Indonesia electronic market.Based on the cose of Panasonic, this research aim to examine the relationship between brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, brand loyalty, and consumers' intention to buy. Furthermore this research also examines the relationship between brand equity and consumers intention to buy.For about 100 data were collected which comes fro* peoplereside in Surakarta-Central of Java, who have an experience on using the brand. Afterward the data are analyzed using the correlation method. The results show that brand awareness; brand association, perceived quality, brand loyalty, and brand equity are correlated with consumer's intention to buy.Keywords: Brand equity, brand owarness, brand loyalty, consumer's intention to buy
