Abstract

The urgency of this research is to describe the ability of Public Relations as a system and public facilitator for the Bima Regency DPRD in creating accountability and transparency of performance, as well as a positive image during public trust in the Government, especially in the Legislative Institution. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The location of this research is in the Bima Regency DPRD Office. The subjects of this study were selected through purposive sampling technique. The results of the study indicate that the task of Public Relations is a system to establish functional relationships with the public, especially in transforming information (transparency of information and accountability) to the public related to the performance of the DPRD Bima Regency. The leading public relations officer to create, build, improve and maintain the image of the DPRD in public, thereby generating public trust and support for the DPRD's institutional policies. In addition, Public Relations is also present as a public facilitator, to accommodate ideas or aspirations that are found from problems that arise in the community, to be taken into consideration for the implementation of the upcoming DPRD. In this case, all public information is collected later and mapped based on the main problem to be given to the leadership and members of the Bima Regency DPRD in accordance with their duties based on the DPRD's completeness.

Abstract

Local governments have problems in anticipating disasters, especially in the support of technology and communication system facilities. As a result, many casualties occurred repeatedly every time a natural disaster occurred. The urgency of the research is to describe the ability to use information technology and sustainable management research as an effort to reduce disaster risk in Bima Regency. The results of the study indicate that the operation of the Operations Control Center has provided improved performance in disaster management by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bima Regency. With the availability of a set of communication tools in the form of a mondopad monitor and radio communication for coordination in disaster management in the region to BNPB. The results of the research were then disseminated and disseminated, as well as disaster response simulations on campuses and schools in Bima Regency by involving international NGOs. In addition, the publication of research results can be used as a guide to reduce vulnerability by carrying out structural and non-structural mitigation. Basic efforts can be done by empowering the results of applied research from universities and research related to disaster management. One of them is through the study of the ratio of investment to each phase of disaster management.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the capacity of the government bureaucracy in public services. This means that the government is domiciled as a powerful organization that performs actions based on its authority and as a public legal entity that can provide services whose impact is felt directly by the community. One type of government activity as a strong organization is to provide services to the community. This is because of the acceptance of the notion of a Welfare State in the Indonesian constitution, as underlined in the fourth paragraph of the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution, that one of the goals of the State is to promote general welfare. However, public satisfaction with government bureaucratic services is still low; In this regard, it is necessary to examine the role of the government bureaucracy as a public service provider to find solutions in overcoming public service constraints and guaranteeing public relations with the government bureaucracy as a public service provider.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Baubau City Tourism Office in the Development of Batu Sori Tourism. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach, which is a research method used to examine the condition of natural objects, so the researcher is the key instrument. The results showed that the role of the Baubau City Tourism Office and the Palabusa Village Government in developing stone tourism was carried out through cooperation and encouraging the community and local government to always coordinate. This is in line with the role of the Tourism Office and the Village Government in providing motivation which aims to support the maximization of Batu Sori tourism. Likewise in Batu Sori Tourism Development, the Tourism Office of Baubau City carries out a maintenance program for the Batu Sori tourist area which involves the community as tourism actors with quality infrastructure and facilities that are in accordance with the needs of tourists, and for foreign tourists welcoming activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of social media on public perception of regional head elections in Sumbawa in 2020. The method used was a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, data collection techniques with interviews, documentation, and literature studies related to the problems studied. The results of this study indicate that social media can influence public perception in the election by becoming a political campaign and marketing tool, namely the first 4Ps are products; The most important product of a political party is of course the candidate himself along with the party platform, concept, and work program of the political party itself. Second promotion: A good promotion is not luck, but a good promotion must be placed precisely where the sale will take place, how the promotion will run and for whom the promotion is. Third price: Price or price in political marketing includes several things ranging from economic, psychological image to national image. Fourth place: places related to pairs of candidates can maximize all potential voters well or effectively, political socialization to pairs of candidates can accommodate all levels of society. Candidate pairs are always able to classify, map, and analyze layers and forms of community characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Pacitan Regency Policy is, so the purpose of this study is to find out Pacitan Regency's Policy in realizing paradise of Java. This type of research is descriptive research aimed at describing what has been and is in effect. In addition, descriptive research is also a problem-solving procedure that is investigated by moving, describing the wealth of subjects, research objects (individuals, community institutions and others) currently based on visible facts. The results of this study are the implementation of the policy of the Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Department in realizing paradise of java in Pacitan Regency has been carried out through synergy with the Regent through the regent's decision on November 9 2018. This strategy is the task and function of all fields, in the field of culture, development, tourism promotion. because the Department of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports is an integral part of promoting Pacitan tourism through Paradise of Java. Policy implementation is a synergy and cooperation between stakeholders in Pacitan Regency starting from tourism business actors, hotels.

Abstract

This study seeks to analyze the strategy of local government in accelerating the implementation of integrated sub-district administration services (PATEN), as well as analyzing the factors supporting and inhibiting local government strategies in accelerating the implementation of integrated sub-district administration services (PATEN), The theory used is the strategy theory from Shirley which explains that strategy has several determining factors, namely Goals and Objectives, Environment, internal abilities, competencies, strategy makers, and communication. The research method used is descriptive and inductive approach, the data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation, the informants are the Regent of Tanah Laut Regency, Chair of the DPRD, Regional Secretary, Assistant Regional 1 Government and People's Welfare, Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency, Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency. Human Resources Development Personnel Agency, Head of Government Division, Head of Sub-Division of Government Administration, Head of Sub-Division of Regional Administration, Pelaihari Sub-District, Takisung Sub-District, Jorong Sub-District, Secretary of Pelaihari Sub-District, Secretary of Takisung Sub-District, Secretary of Jorong Sub-District The results of the study explain that the Regional Government strategy in accelerating the implementation of integrated sub-district administrative services (PATEN) in Tanah Laut Regency has been going well but in the process there are still obstacles due to the lack of human resources in terms of quality and quantity and there are still people who do not understand regarding integrated sub-district administration services (PATEN).

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the management of village funds in Tual City, in order to work together to oversee the government's commitment to implementing the development agenda and national economic equality, especially in the Maluku Province and generally throughout the Republic of Indonesia. As well as being able to learn from the success of Ponggok Village, Polanharjo District, Klaten, Central Java which is a reference village for the use of village funds for other villages in Indonesia. This research uses qualitative data analysis techniques (model of Miles and Haberman, 1998). namely analyzing through data reduction, data presentation (display data), and Conclusion or Data verification (conclusion drawing/verification). Based on the results of the study, it is known that the management of village funds is in accordance with the established standards, namely by using the minister of finance regulation No. 49 of 2016 and Tual mayor regulation No. 1 of 2016. Suggestions that can be given include that the village government in Tual city should increase socialization about the importance of community participation in village community empowerment programs. The village government must prepare a place for selling the results of the creativity of the village community, in addition, to opening market access, so that the creative results of the village community can increase village income and community income.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to assess the potential of money politics in the Liya Mawi Village Head Election, Wakatobi Regency. This study employs descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach, a research technique used to investigate the status of natural things in which the researcher serves as the primary instrument. According to the findings of this study, in terms of factors influencing community participation in the 2021 Liya Mawi Village Head election, the average respondent who chose yes for the three questions related to the element of community involvement in the 2021 Village Head election was 51 (51.33 percent), while the average respondent who chose no was 49 or less (48.66 percent). As a result, it has a 51 percent influence on the participation of Liya Mawi Village people in the 2021 Village Head election. This is demonstrated by the number of respondents from the three question indicators who opted to answer Yes by 51 (51.33 percent) and No by 49 (48.66 percent). While the form of voter behavior in the Liya Mawi village head election in 2021, the Liya Mawi Village community has a perception of money politics, with 42 respondents accepting money for rational reasons, 31 respondents accepting money for sociological reasons, and those receiving money for social reasons. psychology of politics There were 27 responses. Thus, according to the three indicators, people who got enormous quantities of money in Liya Mawi Village during the 2021 Village Head election were chosen based on logical criteria, namely 42 respondents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of professionalism of political journalists in online media. The research approach used is quantitative with descriptive method. This research was conducted in South Sulawesi Province and lasted for four months. The criteria for online media that are the object of this research are: the website can still be accessed, there are political news channels, and there are political news posts during the research period, based on these criteria the total population is 30 online media. In this study, researchers used two kinds of data collection techniques, namely: Primary data collection through questionnaires and observations and secondary data collection through documentation and literature studies. The results of this study indicate that the professionalism of political journalists in online media in South Sulawesi is in the high category as measured by 5 indicators, namely: decent salary aspects, adhering to the Journalistic Code of Ethics, joining professional organizations, dedication, and aspects of mastering journalistic skills. As for the aspects of the professional level of journalists that fall into the high category, namely aspects of education and special training in journalism, aspects of complying with the journalistic code of ethics, joining professional organizations, aspects of dedication, and aspects of journalistic code of ethics skills. Meanwhile, the only aspect that falls into the medium category is the aspect of a decent salary.
