Abstract

Abstract— Introduction/Main Objectives: This research examines the synchronization of School Enrollment Rate (APS) data in Muaro Jambi Regency, addressing inconsistencies between Dapodik, EMIS, and population data.. Novelty: The study offers a novel approach by integrating these data sources to enhance synchronization. Research Methods: Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research identifies obstacles and proposes solutions for improving regional education information systems. Finding/Results: Findings reveal integration efforts through direct data management collaboration, periodic verification, and categorization of verification types. However, challenges such as inadequate internet infrastructure, computer performance issues, incomplete data attributes, and inefficient updating processes persist. Proposed solutions include an integrated data collection system for student transfers and standardized SOPs for data collection. Despite these efforts, APS data synchronization remains suboptimal, requiring further improvements to enhance accuracy and integration effectiveness. Enhanced data quality is crucial for developing and implementing targeted education policies in Muaro Jambi Regency. Conclusion: This study underscores the importance of overcoming technological and procedural barriers to achieve a more reliable and efficient APS data system, supporting better policy planning and execution in the region.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This research aims to determine the improvement in mathematics learning outcomes of students in class III at SD III Jepang Mejobo Kudus after the Team Games Tournament learning model was implemented. The research was conducted because the learning process and student learning outcomes were low and students appeared passive. Therefore, researchers took action to improve learning using the Team Games Tournament learning model. Research Methods: This research uses the Classroom Action Research method. The subjects of this research were 19 grade III students of SD 3 Jepang Mejobo. This research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles with the steps of implementing action, observation, and reflection. In this study, researchers collaborated with direct observers during the actions and results of student ability tests. Finding/Results: Based on data analysis of student learning outcomes, it shows an increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes with details namely pre-cycle (31.57%), cycle I (47.36%), and cycle II (73.68%). Student learning activities also increased as shown by the results of 59.21% of active students in cycle I then rising to 72.10% in cycle II. This research concludes that the use of the Team Games Tournament learning model can improve student mathematics learning outcomes and student activity.

Abstract

Successful regional development cannot be achieved without strong human development. On the contrary, the human development process will be hampered without sustainable regional development. Thus, human quality is an important key to achieving sustainable development. To see the development of a region can be measured by using the Macro Development Indicator (HDI). HDI has several variables of life expectancy at birth, literacy rate, average length of schooling, and per capita expenditure. The purpose of the study was to analyze the condition of the four HDI components in North Sumatra. This study uses the anova test method (a statistical technique used to compare the average between three or more groups (or treatments) in one analysis), normal distribution (a statistical procedure used to test whether the data you have comes from a normal or Gaussian distribution) in one analysis, and linear regression test (a statistical technique used to analyze the relationship between one or more independent variables (usually referred to as variable X) and dependent variables (usually referred to as variable Y) in the context of a linear regression model). The conclusion of this study is based on the Average of 4 HDI components, the city with the highest HDI, namely Medan City, is inversely proportional to Gunungsitoli City with the lowest HDI value. When viewed from the linear regression test, the life expectancy component is the most influential in 2 cities, namely Padangsidimpuan City and Pematang Siantar, the expected length of schooling in Medan City, per capita income in Gunungsitoli City.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the response of giving and obtaining the best dose of palm oil waste compost and single inorganic fertilizer on the growth of oil palm seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) in early nurseries. This research was conducted at the Teaching and Research Farm of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jambi University for 3 months, starting in March-May 2023. Research Methods: This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) on 5 treatments with 1 factor. Variables observed included plant height (cm), stump diameter (mm), number of leaves (strands), total leaf area (cm2), crown dry weight (g), root dry weight (g), hypothetical vigor index (IVH), and root crown ratio. Finding/Results: The results showed that the application of oil palm waste compost and single inorganic fertilizer (Urea, TSP, KCl) to oil palm nurseries in the early nursery was able to increase the growth of plant height, stump diameter, and number of leaves, but not yet able to significantly increase the growth of total leaf area variables, crown dry weight, root dry weight, hypothetical vigor index, and root crown ratio. The treatment of 150 grams of oil palm waste compost + (Urea, TSP, KCl) half the recommended dose showed the growth of 3-month-old oil palm seedlings in the early nursery.

The t-test results indicate that MSMEs (X1) have a significant positive effect on economic growth, with a t-count value of 3.345 exceeding the t-table value of 1.812 and a significance of 0.010. Conversely, the open unemployment variable (X2) showed no significant effect, with a t-count of 1.480 below the t-table value and a significance of 0.177. Conclusion: MSMEs significantly contribute to economic growth in Jambi Province, while open unemployment does not exhibit a significant impact. Abstract

Introduction/Main Objective: Poverty remains a significant challenge for local governments in achieving economic development goals in Jambi Province. To address this issue, local governments have undertaken efforts to improve the quality of education and healthcare. Additionally, development initiatives are expected to enhance income distribution within society. This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of education and healthcare on poverty reduction in Jambi Province. Unlike previous studies, this research incorporates the Gini ratio as a predictor variable for poverty rate. Research Methodology: The data utilized in this study are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Jambi Province. The data comprise panel data from 11 regencies and cities for the period 2011–2023. The analytical model employed is panel regression using the fixed-effects approach. Findings/Results: The study reveals that education and healthcare have a significant and negative impact on poverty rate. Improved education and healthcare quality are associated with lower poverty rate. Conversely, income inequality, has a significant positive effect on poverty, where an increase in the Gini ratio leads to higher poverty rate. Conclusion/Recommendations: Poverty rate in Jambi Province are significantly influenced by the quality of education and healthcare, as well as income inequality. Therefore, local governments in Jambi Province should implement integrated and actionable policies by simultaneously intervening in the areas of education, healthcare, and income distribution.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: The aim of this research is to determine the effect of selfactualization and appreciation on employee work performance at PT. Aneka Bumi Pratama, Simpang Kubu Kandang Village, Pemayung District, Batang Hari Regency. Background Problems: Self-actualization is often defined as a creative tendency that exists in a person, to achieve this can be done by recognizing one's potential in doing work that suits one's interests and is supported by talent so as to achieve success and appreciation from the company. Rewards can be given to someone if the person concerned has performance and work enthusiasm that exceeds the standard limits set by the Company. Research Method: To obtain the data needed in this research, the method used was observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires to selected respondents representing a population of 56 respondents. Multiple linear regression is the analytical tool used in this research. Findings/Results Partially, the t test of self-actualization has a positive effect on work performance. Meanwhile, awards do not show any influence on work performance. In the F test, selfactualization and appreciation simultaneously (together) influence work performance, while in the coefficient of determination test (R2 test). Conclusion: The partial t test shows that self-actualization influences the work performance of PT employees. Aneka Bumi Pratama, while awards have no influence on the work performance of PT employees. Aneka Bumi Pratama.  Simultaneously (together) based on the F Test, it shows that selfactualization and appreciation influence work performance.
