Abstract

Organic waste that produced in The Polytechnic Health Yogyakarta campus has not been processed and just disposed to Piyungan Landfill. To recycle the organic waste is required engineering technology that can produce compost quickly. Electrical Rotating Aerobic Composter (ERAC) is an aerobic powered electric composter model that is designed to rotate continuously for maintaining the stability of environmental factors (oxygen, temperature, humidity) and the homogeneity of processed organic matter. This study aims to determine effect and effectiveness of rotation speed of the ERAC on duration and quality of compost. This research is an experiment with Post-Test Design Only with Control Group Design. The sample of this research is organic waste that taken by proportionate stratified random sampling in The Polytechnic Health Yogyakarta campus. The composition of organic materials filled in the ERAC consist of 1 part organic waste from the canteen, 1 part of the yard / garden waste, 1 part of cattle manure and 5% active bioactivator. Rotation speed of the ERAC was set with variations: A = 0.20 rpm; B = 0.10 rpm; C = 0.05 rpm; K = 0.00 rpm (control). Each treatment was repeated 3 times and monitored daily until compost was formed. Compost samples are sent and checked for quality in the laboratory. Based on the physical parameters (temperature, color, texture and smell) of compost, showed that ERAC is able to process organic waste into compost within 7 days or four times faster than control (28 days). However, the variation of rotation speed was not significantly affect duration of composting. The quality of compost that produced by ERAC has fulfilled SNI No. 19-7030-2004 including C/N ratio, water content, N, P, K and C-organic. The compost quality according to rotation speed of the ERAC (0,20 rpm; 0,10 rpm; 0, 05 rpm, control (0.00 rpm)) respectively are: C / N ratio (19,83,19,84,19,95,19,90); water content (11,36%; 10,81%; 10,83%; 10,97%); N (1.00%; 1.06%; 1.11%; 1,024%); P (0,57%; 0,60%; 0,58%; 0,64%); K (1.37%; 1.32%; 1.30%; 1.28%); C-organic (19.69%; 20,99%; 21,90%; 20,18%).The result of statistical analysis with Kruskal Wallis test with SPPS program version 16 showed that water content, N, P, C-organic and C / N ratio between the three variations of rotation speed of ERAC is not significantly different, except K level. But when it was associated with workload of the ERAC engine, the lowest rotation speed (0.05 rpm) is the most effective.

Abstract

Low Born Weigh (LBW) is a baby with a birth weight <2500 grams. LBW babies are weak in fine motor skills. If toddlers' developmental disorders are not detected early it will affect the quality of life, showed the prevalence of LBW by 5.52%. The prevalence of LBW infants in Bantul Regency from 2014 to 2018 has increased. The highest LBW cases were in the Pleret Puskesmas which reached 6.23%. The high prevalence of LBW in Pleret District has made researchers interested in researching the relationship of LBW history with the development of toddlers aged 1-3 years. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of LBW history on the development of toddlers aged 1-3 years. This type of research is an observational analytic study with a retrospective cohort design. The sample in this study is toddlers aged 1-3 years in the district of Pleret. The independent variables of this study were the birth weight of infants and the dependent variable of development of infants aged 1-3 years. Statistical tests use the Chi-square test and relative risk. This research shows that as many as 31% of children under five with a history of LBW had inappropriate development status. The chi-square test showed a p-value of 0.016 (<0.05) which meant that there was a significant relationship between LBW history and the developmental status of toddlers. Obtained RR value of 1,250 (> 1,00), shows that toddlers with a history of LBW have a risk of experiencing developmental disorders 1.25 times greater than toddlers with normal weight history. The conclusion of this research is a there is a significant relationship between LBW history and the development of toddlers aged 1-3 years. Toddlers with an LBW history have a greater risk of developing developmental disorders compared to toddlers with normal weight history.

Abstract

An effort to reduce dependence on wheat flour is to use wheat flour made from local commodities. Koro bean flour can be used in making milk pies because it has a high nutritional content so that it can support community nutrition, and has a high economic value. The research method used is pure experiment. Organoleptic test data were analyzed using the K-Independent sample test (Kruskall-Wallis). If there is a difference, continue with Mann Whitney. The nutritional content data were analyzed using the Anova test while the Unit Cost data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the organoleptic test showed that there was a significant difference in the level of preference for the color, aroma, taste, and texture of the milk pie with the substitution of Jack bean flour. The results of the nutritional content test showed that the higher the substitution of koro bean flour, the higher the protein content. The result of unit cost analysis shows that the more substitutions of Jack bean flour, the higher the unit cost. The substitution of Jack Bean flour affects the organoleptic properties (color, aroma, taste, and texture), protein content of milk pie, and unit cost of milk pie. However, it has no effect on the energy, fat, and carbohydrate content of milk pie.

Abstract

Gonorrhea is a significant health problem, especially in men with high-risk sexual behavior. The gold standard examination for the diagnosis of gonorrhea is a microscopic examination, culture, and nucleic acid amplification test. However, nucleic acid amplification and culture tests are difficult to carry out in the Public Health Center laboratory, due to limited facilities and human resources. JusChek Gonorrhea Rapid Test (JCGRT) is an examination using the Lateral Flow Immuno Assay (LFIA) method which is relatively easy, more practical, does not require sophisticated equipment, is fast in processing, and can provide results in a short time. This study was to determine the sensitivity, specificity, Positive Predictive Value, Negative Predictive Value, and accuracy of JCGRT using the LFIA method compared to microscopic examination for the diagnosis of gonorrhea. This research is a descriptive-analytic study with a diagnostic test design located in a public health center in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Based on the results of the study, the sensitivity value was 92%, specificity 96%, Positive Predictive Value 95.83%, Negative Predictive Value 92.31%, and Accuracy of 94% JCGRT LFIA method compared with microscopic examination. JCGRT shows good sensitivity and specificity for the diagnosis of gonorrhea. Its use is quite practical, it is recommended that health care facilities with limited facilities can use this method.

Abstract

The prevalence of infant mortality rate in the world is still high, especially in Indonesia. One of the contributing factors to the high infant mortality rate is the delay in the early detection of fetal emergencies. Medical devices used in the health service at this time, can not be reached by all pregnant women independently. The fetal emergency early detection device is designed like a Doppler to listen to the fetal heart rate, but it is equipped with LED lights and alarms that will light up when the fetal heart rate indicates an emergency. This study will analyze the sensitivity, specificity, and acceptance rate of this fetal emergency detection device compared to Fetal Doppler as Gold Standard. This study is an experimental study, an experiment to determine the sensitivity and specificity of fetal emergency detection devices by comparing sensitivity and specificity with Fetal Doppler (Gold Standard) when used in pregnant women with >12 weeks pregnancy age. The results of this study showed that this fetal emergency detection tool has a sensitivity of 92%, and specificity of 67%, 88.7% of pregnant women receive fetal emergency detection equipment to be used as an early detection tool for fetal emergency because it is comfortable, practical, safe and flexible. The results of this study are expected to be used by the Department of Health as an alternative tool in improving maternal and child health care programs in health facilities as an effort to support the decrease in infant mortality.
