Abstract

The research aims to realize differentiated teaching student leadership at SMP Negeri 3 Pagedongan through mini workshops based on faith products (productive and beneficial). The implementation of activities starts in August 2022 to October 2022 at SMP Negeri 3 Pagedongan. Best experience procedures start with planning, implementation and follow-up plans. The planning stage begins with the identification of learning problems based on educational reports and initial assessments of teachers. Next identify real challenges. Implementation is carried out activities in the learning community, by carrying out learning planning and assessment activities. Then supervise the implementation of learning and reflection. The follow-up plan is used as a first step to improve the next activity. Data sources and data collection tools are the 2021 education report cards, students, teachers and the school environment. Data from students are in the form of initial assessment results and reflection results. While the data from the teacher is the result of periodic reflection. Data triangulation was carried out with documentation and testimonies from school residents and surrounding schools. Data from the school is an observation based on the implementation of differentiated learning at SMP Negeri 3 Pagedongan. The results of this study are the implementation of differentiated learning and increasing teacher competence in making good practices. The best result of this experience is an increase in the number of teachers who carry out differentiated learning in the second observation, the total score is 30 from the initial score of 8. Differentiated learning has been carried out, and the results of the differentiation of content, processes and products have been carried out. The conclusion from this best experience is that leadership in differentiated learning through mini workshops based on faith products is able to realize differentiated learning at SMP Negeri 3 Pagedongan in 2022.

Abstract

History is one of the subjects that plays a significant role in shaping an individual's identity and perspective towards the world. However, most students struggle to understand and appreciate history. Innovative and engaging learning methods can be achieved through the use of multimedia technology such as videos. In this article, researchers will discuss a meta-analysis of how the use of videos about historical places around the school can enhance students' understanding of history. This meta-analysis collects and analyzes the results of several previous studies on the use of videos to improve students' historical understanding. The results of the analysis show that the use of videos in history education can enhance students' understanding of history and help them increase the value and meaning of historical events. Furthermore, the use of videos about historical places around the school can also help students better understand history and increase their pride in their living environment. Videos can also help students better understand the social, cultural, and political contexts of historical places. However, the use of videos in history education also has some weaknesses, such as the possibility of students becoming bored if the videos watched are too long or uninteresting. Therefore, appropriate video design and usage are necessary in the learning context. In conclusion, the use of videos about historical places around the school can be an effective innovative learning method to enhance students' understanding of history. Appropriate videos can help students better understand historical contexts, increase pride in their environment, and appreciate the values and meanings of historical events. Therefore, multimedia technology such as videos can be an interesting and effective alternative in history education.

Abstract

The writing of this article aims to (1) find out the optimal use of technology-based learning media as a contemporary learning tool for social studies professional teachers; (2) explore the utilization of technology-based learning media as a contemporary learning tool in implementing students' character education; (3) identify the roles and challenges of social studies professional teachers in utilizing technology-based learning media as a contemporary learning tool in students' character education towards the Era of Society 5.0. The method used in writing this article is descriptive qualitative, employing a literature review approach to collect relevant data from various academic sources such as books, journals, magazines, brochures, websites, and other references related to the topic of "The Optimal Use of Technology-Based Learning Media in Contemporary Social Studies Education for Character Development Towards the Era of Society 5.0." The literature review was conducted between mid-March and early April 2023, focusing on selecting recent academic works published between the years 2018 to 2023. The purpose of this research method is to synthesize and analyze existing literature to gain insights into the utilization of technology-based learning media in character education within the context of contemporary social studies education and its relevance in preparing students for the challenges of Society 5.0. The results of writing this article show that; (1) The optimal use of technology-based learning media as a contemporary learning tool for social studies professional teachers can lead to faster and significant scientific contributions in the field of science and technology for the advancement of national education. (2) Technology-based learning media as a contemporary learning tool in student character education has the potential to create a character-based, moral, and culturally enriched educational landscape that preserves and promotes local cultural wisdom. (3) To identify the roles and challenges of social studies professional teachers in utilizing technology-based learning media as a contemporary learning tool in student character education in welcoming the Society 5.0 Era. Indeed, as a facilitator in the learning process, a teacher's role goes beyond just delivering content. They play a crucial role in guiding and supporting students, evaluating their progress, and encouraging continuous skill development. In the context of technology-based learning applications and the challenges brought forth by the Era of Society 5.0, teachers must possess information and technology literacy to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices. To produce students who are active, creative, innovative, and think critically, educators must adopt a learner-centered approach and implement effective teaching strategies.

Abstract

The background of this research is that there are still many social studies teachers who convey learning conceptually and are dominated by the lecture method. This condition causes a lack of students' ability to solve existing problems and students will be ignorant of existing learning materials. The differentiated learning model is an alternative learning model that can be used to convey material in an interesting way and has continuity with the independent learning curriculum which has an impact on increasing critical thinking skills. In the learning process it has been able to improve Critical Thinking Skills in students. This can be seen in a conducive and interactive classroom atmosphere. Students' curiosity increases in the number of student questions asked to the teacher during presentations. learning strategies implemented based on content, process and product differentiation. This content differentiation students can use various methods according to their learning style. Process differentiation arises during group learning activities. Students are given assistance according to their needs in completing worksheets prepared by the teacher. Product differentiation is carried out by giving assignments to students to choose works that will be given to teachers according to student interests. However, there are still obstacles in its application because some teachers feel they are not ready to apply this learning method besides the low interest in student learning.

Abstract

History lessons often become boring lessons because teachers often use one-way lecture methods, so learning becomes monotonous and makes students bored. Increasing teacher competence in mastering TPACK is expected to increase interaction and get students to learn history. Sway is an application contained in one of the Microsoft 365 features in the form of multimodal text, combining text, images, and videos. It can even be integrated with other applications through YouTube links, quizzes, or other forms of tests.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan yang dialami beberapa santri/siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Sosiologi di Madrasah Aliyah Tahfidzil Qur’an Medan. Terdapat 3 orang siswa memiliki permasalahan seperti permasalahan keluarga kurang harmonis, keluarga broken home dan ada juga keluarga yang memiliki pola asuh otoriter. Hal tersebut menjadi kasus khusus karena sama-sama kita ketahui bahwa permasalahan diatas sering sekali mengakibatkan siswa tidak berminat dalam belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Pemilihan informan dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan siswa berlatarbelakang broken home, keluarga kurang harmonis, dan keluarga yang memiliki pola asuh otoriter sehingga membuat siswa tidak berminat dalam belajar. Maka penting ada suatu pemahaman mengenai latar belakang siswa dengan membangun suatu Klinik Santri yaitu siswa aman, anti penindasan dan berprestasi. Untuk memberikan solusi terhadap segala permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh siswa yang memiliki latar belakang berbeda. Pertama, memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa mengenai konsep diri yang baik. Kedua, memiliki ambisi dalam menggapai cita-cita, perencanaan masa depan yang jelas membuat siswa berlatarbelakang broken home memiliki minat dalam belajar karena tahu harus menggapai cita-cita yang direncanakan. Ketiga, menjadikan motivasi untuk membuktikan jati diri menyebabkan siswa berlatarbelakang broken home tidak ingin diremehkan oleh orang lain karena kondisi keluarganya.

Abstract

Learning is the process Social Science or Social Studies Education is a very important lesson in a person's life, where learning social studies education has a very large and noble goal, among others, to understand and develop knowledge, values, attitudes, social skills, citizenship, facts, events, concepts and generalizations and be able to reflect them into the life of society, nation and state. This research uses the type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) using the action research model of Kemmis and Taggart. Students who did not reach the KKM score were more, namely 18 students (64.2%). this allows it to be done or the right method is needed to improve student learning achievement in order to reach the KKM score. the next day the problem solving method was applied on April 10, 2023, for cycle I, this application was carried out with II cycles on April 11, 2023. In cycle I there was an increase in the category of very good students increased by about 3 students (11%), and good as many as 12 students or 43%, while the moderate category decreased by about 13 students (46%). Student learning activeness began to increase and was seen in cycle II where the excellent category amounted to 8 students (28.5%), good around 15 students (18%) and the moderate category decreased to the remaining 5 students (18%). This also occurred in the increase in students' KKM scores which improved in cycle I 19 students (68%) and in cycle II increased to 25 students (89%). Abstract

Entrepreneurial thinking is the initial capital and the basis for success at the same time. An entrepreneur mindset should be owned in running a business, including actively looking for new opportunities, daring to take risks, being actionoriented, never stopping learning, having a big vision, working in a team, loving business and focusing on market desires. Entrepreneurship is quite important to study, such as in terms of washing and washing affairs in daily life that so far not everyone is willing and able to wash clothes for various reasons and the effectiveness of the time used. Zey Laundry business is a kilo laundry business that takes advantage of this opportunity with its strategic business location. This study uses observations and interviews as well as a literature review of how the business can develop within three years, obstacles encountered during the business and additional prospects of customer loyalty can be used as business guarantees in the laundry business.

Abstract

The research entitled "Environmentally Friendly Project Based Learning (PJBL) Model in Reducing Plastic Waste and Implementing a Sustainable Lifestyle Case Study of Grade 7 Students of SMP Negeri 239 Jakarta Academic Year 2022/2023". Problem limitations, namely (1) What is the Project Based Learning method?; (2) What is the urgency of plastic waste pollution in Jakarta?; (3) What is the concept of a sustainable lifestyle?. The purpose of this study is to analyze the advantages and disadvantages in applying the appropriate Project Based Learning method in social studies learning about environmental pollution and sustainable lifestyles for class VII students of SMPN 239 Jakarta. This method was initiated by the implications of the Minister of Education and Culture Circular No.4 of 2020. Project based learning has the main objective of providing training to students to be more able to collaborate, work together, and empathize with others. Qualitative research methods, and a case study approach for class VII A students at SMPN 239 Jakarta. Collecting data by interviewing and filling out questionnaires via google form. The independent curriculum with P5 (PROYEK PENGUATAN PROFIL PELAJAR PANCASILA) and social studies material for class VII contains learning about environmental pollution which is very urgent to handle, especially in the big city of Jakarta, where plastic waste has caused a lot of concern to the environment and even brought disease to the community. This research supports Governor Regulation (Pergub) Number 142 of 2019 concerning the Obligation to Use Environmentally Friendly Shopping Bags. People are expected to have their own shopping bags for shopping. Schools also support the government program (DKI Jakarta Education Office) regarding the Clean, Green, Organized and Managed Program (BHTT) which encourages students and school officials to bring their own drinking bottles and places to eat from home. The conclusions from this study are that the Project Based Learning Approach has learning steps (syntax) that must be carried out, namely: Starting with the essential question, Designing a plan for the project, create a schedule, create a schedule.

Abstract

This journal describes the implementation of strengthening pancasila students profile project or P5 at SMA Negeri 1 Purwareja Klampok. The method used in this study was a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. This study aimed to see how the implementation of the Pancasila student profile program in the independent curriculum, moreover to know whether it had an impact on the formation of student character at school. P5 implementation was applied by combining School Literacy Movement i.e One Class One Book. This program aimed to increase Pancasila values in strengthening pancasila students profile project. These Pancasila values are written in six indicators as Pancasila students reinforcement element. Students who have this profile are students who are fully developed by the six constituent dimensions. These dimensions are: 1) Faith and piety to God Almighty and noble character; 2) Independent; 3) Mutual Cooperation; 4) Global diversity; 5) Critical thinking; 6) Creative. One Class One Book literacy activities were able to realize the profile of Pancasila students, those are having a noble character, having good morals towards humans and the country; global diversity, loves differences; collaborating in a class to make a book according to the agreed theme; creative by producing works in the form of books; critical thinking, able to solve problems and process information; and independent, self-awareness of responsibility for the process and results of learning.
