Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in the science subject for Grade V at SDN 2 Sered with ecosystem material. The research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and tests to obtain a comprehensive picture of the learning process and student learning outcomes. Data were collected through direct observation at each stage of learning, interviews with teachers and students, and tests to measure understanding of ecosystem concepts. The results show that the implementation of PjBL is carried out through three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This model successfully increased student engagement and understanding of ecosystem material significantly. In conclusion, PjBL is an effective learning strategy that can create an enjoyable and meaningful science learning experience for Grade V students at SDN 2 Sered.

Abstract

Given the challenges of the Interconnected era, problem-solving skills play a vital and indispensable role in the development of individuals in academic, professional as well as everyday life. This study investigates effective learning models that foster these skills among elementary students at SD Negeri Kasmaran, Banjarnegara, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research draws from classroom observations, interviews, and documentation to identify the characteristics and impacts of various pedagogical approaches. Findings indicate that student-centered learning models, particularly Project-Based Learning (PjBL), Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Cooperative Learning, and Inquiry-Based Learning, significantly enhance students' problem-solving capabilities. The study further discusses implementation challenges and proposes strategic solutions to optimize learning outcomes.

Abstract

Teachers are less aware of and ignore the diversity of students, so that in the learning process they still use learning models that do not accommodate student diversity. This condition causes students to be less able to develop critical reasoning skills and independence. One way that can be done to respond to the characteristics and identify problems of diverse students is to implement differentiated learning strategies with the interactive learning media Difa Tara. This research aims to test the effectiveness of using Difa Tara Interactive Learning Media to increase critical reasoning abilities and independence in science subjects in elementary school. This research uses a quantitative approach to the Quasi-Experimental research type. Data collection techniques were carried out using tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use instrument validity and reliability tests, normality and homogeneity tests as prerequisite tests. Test the hypothesis using the T test. The results of the research show that the Difa Tara Interactive Learning Media is effective for critical reasoning abilities and independence. It has been stated from the hypothesis test that the significant value is 0.000, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' mathematical problem-solving abilities based on their level of self-confidence. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through problem-solving tests, confidence questionnaires, and interviews. The results of the questionnaire are grouped into three categories, namely high, moderate, and low. Respondents were taken by purposive sampling technique as many as one student each in the self-confidence category. Data analysis consists of data reduction, presentation of research results, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that students with high self-confidence are able to fulfill their problem-solving skills systematically and completely, including proper problem identification, effective strategy planning, accurate solution implementation, and thorough evaluation of results. Students with moderate levels of self-confidence demonstrate varied problem-solving abilities with major weaknesses in the consistency of strategy implementation and evaluation of work results. Students with low self-confidence have difficulty understanding problems and choosing appropriate approaches so they often fail to solve problems properly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problem-solving ability of junior high school students in solving the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SLSE) based on Polya's problem-solving stages. The subjects of this study were grade VIII students at SMP Negeri 2 Cilongok. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with instruments in the form of problem-solving tests and interviews. The results showed that students' problem-solving abilities varied, with most students having difficulty at the stage of understanding the problem and re-checking the solutions obtained. Factors that influence students' difficulties include low understanding of the basic concepts of SLSE and inadequate arithmetic operations. The recommendation in this study is the importance of implementing problem-solving-based learning methods to improve students' abilities.

Abstract

Mathematical problem-solving skillsare important for students to have as part of mastering mathematical competencies. This research aims to analyze students' mathematical problem-solving skillsat at one of the state high schools in Mesuji Raya based on their level of mathematical proficiency. The research subjects were students selected based on high, medium and low levels of mathematical ability. This qualitative research method uses mathematical problem-solving instruments and in- depth interviews. Data analysis consists of data reduction, data categorization, data interpretation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that there are significant variations in students' skillsat each level of mathematical proficiency. Students with high mathematical skillsare able to understand problems, relate concepts to real contexts, and evaluate solutions well. On the other hand, students with medium ability experience difficulty in applying problem solving strategies effectively, while students with low ability show weaknesses in almost all stages of problem solving.

Abstract

This study analyzes the patterns and trends of the implementation of the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) learning model in the development of scientific literacy through a systematic literature review in the period 2015-2024. Scientific literacy is a crucial component in 21st century education that includes not only mastering scientific concepts, but also developing the skills to apply knowledge in real life. Indonesia's low ranking in the 2022 PISA assessment (ranked 77th out of 81 countries with a score of 394) indicates the need for Learning Innovation, one of which is through the SSCS model. Using the Systematic Literature Review method, the study analyzed 40 articles from 450 identified publications. The results showed a significant increase trend in SSCs-related publications since 2019 with a cumulative annual growth of 33.2%. The research was dominated by quantitative methods (65%), followed by mixed methods (25%), and qualitative (10%). The implementation of SSCS is proven to be effective in improving various skills, including critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and understanding concepts at various levels of Education. The implementation of the SSCS model is also successfully integrated with other approaches such as interactive multimedia, ethnoscience, TPACK, and local wisdom values. These findings imply that the SSCS model is a potential learning strategy to improve science literacy and support 21st century skills development in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of Wordwall in enhancing the quality of interactive learning using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on PRISMA guidelines. From an initial pool of 81 studies, 40 empirical articles (international and national) were selected for synthesis. The results indicate that Wordwall significantly contributes to increased learning motivation, outcomes, engagement, collaboration, communication, and concept mastery across educational levels. The findings affirm the relevance of digital gamification tools like Wordwall in supporting 21st-century education.
