Abstract

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of digitalization on operational efficiency and financial sustainability in Indonesian notarial services, focusing on Kantor Notaris Justriany Koni, S.H., M.Kn. The traditional manual systems in Indonesian notary offices result in rising operational costs, declining profit margins, and reduced client satisfaction. Using a case study approach, this research analyzes the financial and operational effects of partial digitalization in administrative, communication, and financial workflows—excluding core notarization acts restricted by law. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including stakeholder interviews, cost-benefit analysis, and comparative benchmarking. The findings demonstrate that strategic digital transformation can reduce document handling costs by up to 30%, increase service capacity without additional staffing, and improve cash flow through electronic invoicing. The study presents a hybrid implementation roadmap that aligns with existing regulations, balances investment risk, and ensures business continuity. The proposed digital solutions offer a scalable path for notarial offices seeking to modernize, remain competitive, and enhance long-term sustainability.

Abstract

The growing popularity of plant-based snacks among Indonesian consumers—particularly Gen Z and Millennials—presents both opportunities and challenges for local brands. Tahu Benjo, a tofu-based snack brand in Solo, seeks to revitalize its market presence amid declining competitiveness. This study aims to identify the most preferred product attributes of Tahu Benjo using a conjoint analysis approach. Data were collected through an online survey completed by 191 respondents and analyzed using the Choice-Based Conjoint (CBC) method and the Multinomial Logit Model (MNL). The results indicate that packaging is the most important attribute (31%), followed by price (23%), cooking method (21%), ingredient composition (18%), and flavor (7%). The optimal product profile identified consists of a tofu-mushroom mix, savory flavor, fried preparation, eco-friendly packaging, and a price range of Rp 10,000–15,000. This configuration achieved the highest utility score and market preference. Based on these insights, strategic recommendations include launching a flagship product with the preferred attributes, reformulating underperforming SKUs, and implementing targeted digital marketing campaigns. The study contributes to consumer behavior literature in emerging plant-based markets and offers actionable guidance for brand repositioning.

Abstract

The spray painting process at PT Tritek Indonesia plays a vital role in determining final product quality, especially for components used in the automotive and electronics industries. However, recurring defects such as NG total and under paint have led to elevated production losses and pose risks to customer satisfaction and process stability. This research aims to identify the root causes of these defects and propose structured improvements using the Six Sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology. During the Measure phase, data from January to March 2025 indicated that defect rates remained high, with DPMO values of 116,160 (? = 1.19), 89,553 (? = 1.34), and 110,861 (? = 1.22) respectively, highlighting low process capability and the need for urgent improvement. Root cause analysis using Fishbone Diagrams and FMEA identified several key contributors to the high defect rate, including the lack of operator discipline in pretreatment and thickness inspection, inconsistent spraying techniques, suboptimal spray gun performance due to nozzle wear, and dusty spray booth conditions. To address these root causes, the proposed solutions in the Improve phase include implementing a daily pretreatment checklist, structured coating thickness inspections with periodic training and microbreaks, development of a spray painting assistive tool to standardize distance and angle, a preventive maintenance schedule for spray gun components, and the implementation of 5S principles to improve cleanliness in the painting area. The Control phase proposes regular audits, performance documentation, and bi-weekly evaluation meetings to ensure long-term compliance. This research provides practical insights for small-to-medium manufacturing enterprises in Indonesia to initiate structured quality control programs and gradually advance towards higher process capability and reduced defect variability.

Abstract

The rapid growth of TikTok Shop as a social commerce platform has reshaped consumer behavior, especially through the use of live streaming in online shopping. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of JazaHijab's live streaming strategy in boosting sales on TikTok Shop. The research objectives include identifying the current strategy, examining the factors influencing consumer purchase decisions, and formulating an optimal live streaming strategy to increase engagement and conversion. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and the Gioia Method, the study collected data through observation, semi-structured interviews, and performance documentation across four TikTok Shop accounts. The analysis is supported by SWOT and TOWS frameworks to derive strategic recommendations. The findings reveal that live interactivity, promotion, and product information clarity are the most influential factors in driving consumer purchases. Responsive and engaging hosts foster trust and emotional connection, while exclusive time-limited promotions and detailed product presentations enhance perceived value and urgency. However, inconsistencies in content standardization, suboptimal feature utilization, and technical disruptions hinder performance across different accounts. The study concludes that a structured live streaming strategy—supported by content SOPs, enhanced host training, real-time product visuals, and promotional calendars—can significantly improve sales performance. These insights contribute to the growing literature on digital marketing and offer practical guidance for MSMEs in optimizing TikTok Shop as a sales channel.

Abstract

The rental property market is changing rapidly across the world. Current economic fluctuations, evolving tenant needs and technological innovations are changing the competitiveness of the rental property market. This study explores the problem of Mon Property losing market share due to higher occupancy rates enjoyed by competitors offering much more attractive amenities. This is also due to competitors being digitally savvy. The company’s outdated marketing and reluctance to embrace new technology have been a problem. While competitors list property details online, provide video content and respond to frequently asked questions by prospective tenants within minutes, newer properties are attracting tenants with special offers such as car parking or public spaces and Wi-Fi. The gap between what tenants want and what the company is offering is widening. To identify solutions, this study combines tenant interviews with observational data and market insights. Today’s prospective tenants prefer hassle-free online searches, fast communication with landlords and amenities including affordable rental housing strategies. This suggests that the company is losing out to its competitive peers. These businesses are involved in building modern facilities or providing flexible rental strategies as many competitors do. The idea is to help with the occupancy decline issue but not cost too much. Suggestions include social media advertising, basic virtual tours, and quicker responses to tenant inquiries. Improvements such as building renovations or free Wi-Fi would be positive and could make the property more appealing. It also shows that modifications in traditional and digital marketing or adjustments to tenant communications can have a big impact. When competing in a crowded market, survival means finding the sweet spot between tradition and smart, affordable innovation to re-attain occupancy optimization.

Abstract

The 2024 Indonesian Presidential Election marked a significant shift in political communication strategies, with Instagram emerging as a key platform for image building and message dissemination. This study aims to analyze how the three presidential candidates—Anies Baswedan, Prabowo Subianto, and Ganjar Pranowo—utilized Instagram during the critical campaign period (D-7 to D+7 of voting day) to construct political images and influence voter perception. Using a quantitative content analysis approach, 126 Instagram posts were examined based on variables such as content type, messaging themes, visual storytelling, and interactivity. The findings reveal that video content dominated (58.7%), with Anies being the most active user, emphasizing personal narratives and public engagement. Ganjar focused on national issues, while Prabowo highlighted symbolic leadership. Key themes included candidate character (60.3%), voter support (61.9%), and vote mobilization (48.4%). However, interactivity features like polls and live sessions were underutilized. The study highlights the strategic role of digital storytelling and platform affordances in shaping political personas, supporting theories of framing and self-presentation. It suggests that successful political campaigns require not only compelling content but also platform literacy and two-way engagement strategies. The research contributes to the evolving discourse on digital democracy and offers practical insights for political actors navigating social media ecosystems.

Abstract

Abstract

The construction of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) is a national strategic project aimed at strengthening regional connectivity and boosting economic growth in Sumatra. PT Hutama Karya (Persero) is tasked with building over 2,700 kilometres of toll roads in Sumatra, as mandated by the Indonesian government. However, the implementation of Phase II has faced challenges such as delays in land acquisition, limited budgets, complex geographical conditions. These issues led to deviations from the planned time and budget, which could hinder the achievement of the project's national goals. This study aims to assist PT Hutama Karya, particularly the Toll Road Planning Division (RJT), in prioritizing toll road segments for Phase II. To address this, study employs the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), a multi-criteria decision-making method. A hierarchical structure based on key objectives, evaluation criteria, and segment alternatives is developed, with expert-based weighting. Interviews with four subject matter experts (SMEs) identified four main criteria: traffic volume, land readiness, investment costs, and geographical conditions. The three segments evaluated were Betung–Tempino–Jambi, Jambi–Rengat, and Rengat–Pekanbaru. The analysis, using a pairwise comparison questionnaire processed with SuperDecision software, revealed that the Betung–Tempino–Jambi segment is the best to prioritize due to its high traffic volume, better land readiness, lower investment costs (Rp21.01 trillion), and more favorable geographical conditions. Rengat–Pekanbaru ranked second, while Jambi–Rengat ranked third due to higher costs and more challenging conditions. This study contributes practical insights for PT Hutama Karya and suggests future research directions in infrastructure management.
