Abstract

This study addresses the gap between current content delivery and audience expectations on Teknisigo's Instagram, a challenge often overlooked in service-based SMEs. Despite the widespread use of social media marketing, limited research explores how different content types influence user engagement in niche service industries. This research aims to develop an improved content strategy by identifying which content types drive the highest engagement. The study applies an internal STP (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning) analysis to understand the audience profile, followed by external benchmarking with similar businesses. A mixed-methods approach was used, combining thematic interviews with internal stakeholders and an online survey of followers to assess preferences, motivations, and content satisfaction. Quantitative data were analyzed using Spearman’s rank correlation to identify relationships between content types and engagement. The findings reveal a significant mismatch between audience expectations and Teknisigo’s current content. Educational and relational content—such as tutorials, customer stories, and behind-the-scenes features—proved more engaging than promotional or entertainment-based posts. As a result, a revised content strategy is proposed to focus on high-performing content categories. This research offers practical recommendations for Teknisigo and provides a replicable content planning framework for service-based SMEs seeking to improve social media engagement.

Abstract

Increasing development, the demand for building materials such as paving blocks is also increasing. With the many variations offered, the material for making paving blocks is not just a mixture of cement and sand. Crushed stone or gravel or other additives can also be used. In this study, palm shell ash was chosen as an additional material in making paving blocks, in order to increase the compressive strength of the paving blocks. This study was conducted by making 48 test specimens, then testing the compressive strength after the test specimens were soaked according to the predetermined planned age. This study refers to the implementation method of SNI 03-0691-1996 concerning concrete bricks (paving blocks). To obtain the optimal composition, various palm shell ash was added. Compressive strength testing was carried out when the test specimens reached the planned age. The results of the compressive strength test that had been carried out, it was found that the optimal addition of palm shell ash occurred at an addition of 8% at a soaking age of 28 days. So by referring to the regulations, concrete bricks (paving blocks) are included in the class C/IIIa quality category.

Abstract

This article examines the visual and discursive communication strategies employed by Indigenous peoples in Venezuela to counter negative representations constructed by non-Indigenous, particularly Western, media. Utilizing a qualitative approach through Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) and visual semiotic analysis, this study focuses on two primary data sources: social media posts by President Nicolás Maduro and the Indigenous organization CONIVE (Consejo Nacional Indio de Venezuela). The research aims to explore how Indigenous communities construct counter-representations in response to colonial stereotypes such as exoticism, primitivism, passivity, and marginalization, which are frequently perpetuated by global media narratives. Framed by Hall’s theory of representation, Geertz’s concept of cultural identity, and Gramsci’s hegemony, findings show that Indigenous groups resist colonial stereotypes through media activism, cultural expression, and political advocacy. These efforts redefine Indigenous visibility and assert agency within global discourse. The study highlights the strategic role of community media in reclaiming narrative power and calls for stronger support for Indigenous communication rights.

Abstract

Ischemic stroke remains one of the leading causes of long-term disability worldwide, with recovery dependent on the brain's neuroplastic potential. This review aims to evaluate the role of animal models in elucidating the mechanisms of neuroplasticity following stroke and their relevance to clinical application. Using qualitative literature analysis, the study synthesizes findings from various animal models including rodents, non-human primates, zebrafish, and Drosophila. Rodent models, particularly the middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO), have been instrumental in identifying key processes such as BDNF-driven synaptic remodeling, VEGF-induced angiogenesis, and glial involvement in tissue repair. Additionally, systemic modulators like the gut-brain axis, immune responses, and extracellular vesicles are increasingly recognized for their influence on recovery. Despite these insights, most studies disproportionately utilize young, healthy male animals, limiting their relevance to diverse patient populations with comorbidities and aging factors. The findings suggest a need for integrative, multimodal research that incorporates molecular techniques, imaging, and behavioral assays, along with cross-species validation, to improve translational outcomes. This review underscores the necessity of leveraging a broader spectrum of animal models and advanced methodologies to develop effective, personalized therapies for post-stroke rehabilitation.

Abstract

Health services are a basic right of every citizen guaranteed by law. In practice, patients not only have the right to consent to informed consent, but also the right to refuse the medical procedure through informed refusal, after receiving adequate information. Informed refusal is a form of respect for the patient's autonomy and has the same legal status as informed consent. However, the understanding and regulation related to informed refusal in Indonesia is still limited. This paper highlights the importance of legal recognition of informed refusal as part of human rights and the need for special regulations to realize legal certainty in the relationship between patients and health workers.

Abstract

President Donald Trump's second presidency marks a significant shift in the foreign policy orientation of the United States, which has had a far-reaching impact on the security configuration in the Indo-Pacific region. This study aims to analyze the impact of Donald Trump's leadership on U.S. foreign policy and its implications for the security dynamics of the Indo-Pacific region. Using a literature review approach and scenario planning framework, this study examines the adaptive responses of countries in the Indo-Pacific region in the face of geopolitical uncertainty posed by Trump's unilateralist and "America First" policies. By integrating PESTLE analysis and regional security theory, the study maps four possible future strategic scenarios: Fortress Pacific, Hedging Archipelago, Echo Chamber Alliance, and Age of Disorder. The results show that regional nations are seeking to strengthen regional self-reliance and cooperation, while mitigating the uncertainty of U.S. security commitments that have the potential to undermine regional stability. This paper provides conceptual contributions in the form of adaptive scenario-planning-based analytical models, as well as offers strategic recommendations for Indo-Pacific countries in dealing with the dynamics of great power rivalry in the post-Trump era.

Abstract

Abstract

This research explores Indonesia's role as a major player in the global steel and iron export market, particularly in relation to the European Union (EU). As the fifth largest exporter of steel and iron by 2022, Indonesia has seen its exports increase dramatically from US$5.60 billion in 2018 to US$27.82 billion in 2022. However, Indonesia faces significant trade barriers, including anti-dumping and safeguard duties imposed by the European Union. This article highlights the complexities of dealing with dumping allegations, with reference to Indonesia's experience with the World Trade Organization (WTO) and its diplomatic efforts in trade disputes with countries such as Australia and Pakistan. The WTO Dispute Settlement Body (DSB) plays an important role in resolving these conflicts, providing a framework for fair trade practices. In addition, the article also discusses the current challenges Indonesia faces regarding low-grade stainless steel products and emphasizes the need for effective government diplomacy. By engaging industry, society, and academia, the Indonesian government can improve its position in international trade. Through diplomacy and strategic collaboration, Indonesia aims to overcome trade barriers and promote its industrial interests globally.
