Abstract

Infertility is an important global public health issue, affecting approximately 15% of couples of reproductive age worldwide. Increasingly, research is showing a link between diet and infertility. Choosing nutritious foods, especially during the preconception period and early pregnancy, is crucial to ensuring adequate nutrition for the mother and reducing the likelihood of complications during pregnancy. Aim: To determine the role of nutrition in minimising the risk of complications and improving reproductive outcomes. Methods: This study employed a systematic review method using several research article databases, namely: Oxford Academic, Science Direct, Clinical Key, Wiley, Springer NatureLink, and ProQuest. A total of 74,538 studies were identified. After removing duplicates, 54,593 studies were selected based on titles and abstracts. Excluded studies included non-interventional studies, articles not in English, and those not involving fertility patients. Ten full-text articles were reviewed for eligibility, and the selection process was illustrated using the PRISMA flow diagram format. The data extracted included author names, publication year, title, study design, sample size, and results. A critical appraisal analysis was conducted using the JBI format. Results: Fifteen articles were identified, involving 14,309 infertile women undergoing preconception preparation. Overall, the findings indicate that a healthy diet and nutritional interventions significantly impact female fertility, highlighting the need for increased understanding of the benefits of healthy nutrition for women planning pregnancy.

Abstract

Vendor invoice payment process at PT XYZ involves several verification stages supported by a digitalized system through the Vendor Invoicing Portal (VIP) application. Although technology has streamlined workflows, the document rejection rate remains relatively high, averaging 22% between January and August 2024. This equates to 13,435 rejected invoices out of 61,852 processed, with a total value of approximately IDR 5.3 trillion. These rejections are caused by document discrepancies, incomplete submissions, and prolonged correction times by the relevant units or vendors. As a result, payment delays have led to IDR 531.1 billion worth of invoices being paid more than 20 days after submission, negatively impacting the company's operational efficiency and vendor relationships. This study aims to identify business process activities in invoice payments, analyse the risk factors (risk agents) and risk events, and design mitigation strategies to minimize their impact. Analytic Network Process (ANP) method, used to determine the weight of correlation between risks, while the House of Risk (HOR) method identifies priority risks based on the Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP) value. Findings of this study are expected to provide relevant risk mitigation recommendations to reduce the document rejection rate and expedite payment processes. By addressing these issues, the company can enhance operational efficiency and strengthen vendor trust, ensuring that invoices amounting to billions of rupiah are processed more accurately and promptly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the communication strategy carried out by the Yogyakarta Special Region Police Public Relations in building public trust in the police, especially in handling street crimes that are rampant in the Yogyakarta area. Street crimes or what are known to the public as "klitih" have become a public concern because they create a sense of insecurity and lower the image of the police. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants in this study include members of the Yogyakarta Special Region Police Public Relations, community leaders, and the general public. The results of the study show that the Yogyakarta Special Region Police Public Relations implements a communication strategy that refers to the seven elements of strategic communication according to Cutlip, Center, and Broom, namely: credibility, context, content, clarity, continuity and consistency, channel, and capability of the audience. In addition, the communication strategy is implemented through two channels, namely external and internal communication by optimizing social media, mass media, official websites, and cooperation with various elements of society. A humanistic approach, openness of information, and cross-sector collaboration are important keys in forming a positive image of the police. This study concludes that the communication strategy implemented by the DIY Regional Police Public Relations is quite effective in increasing public trust, although improvements are still needed in delivering messages to make them easier for the wider community to understand.

Abstract

The tourist sector in Indonesia is crucial for stimulating economic growth, especially via regional development and employment generation.  As digitization alters tourist behavior, smart tourism has become a strategic necessity for destinations to maintain competitiveness in the digital age.  This study examines how NiMo Highland, a swiftly expanding nature-based tourist destination in Pangalengan, Bandung Regency, may utilize smart tourism technology to enhance visitor numbers.  The research used a qualitative descriptive methodology, incorporating strategic frameworks such the Ansoff Matrix, Marketing Mix (7Ps), PESTEL, and SWOT analysis to evaluate internal competencies and external environmental factors.  Findings indicate that although NiMo Highland succeeds in organic digital visibility and experience offers, deficiencies persist in ticketing digitalization, third-party platform integration, and consistent event-based promotions.  The study advocates for a smart tourism marketing strategy founded on three core components: (1) the integration of online travel agents (e.g., TikTok Go, Traveloka) to facilitate seamless bookings, (2) the deployment of RFID wristband technology to enhance visitor convenience and generate data-driven insights, and (3) the initiation of a signature annual event (Drone Show) to bolster brand positioning and seasonal attractiveness.  These efforts seek to improve tourist engagement and operational efficiency while contributing to the wider discussion on digital transformation in nature-based tourism locations throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

Jejunal atresia is a rare congenital anomaly causing intestinal obstruction in neonates, necessitating prompt diagnosis and surgical intervention for optimal outcomes. This case report highlights the management of a 10-day-old neonate presenting with persistent bilious vomiting, abdominal distension, and failure to pass meconium. Diagnostic imaging confirmed jejunal atresia, and the Santulli procedure was performed to restore intestinal continuity while allowing distal bowel decompression. Despite postoperative challenges, including sepsis and unstable vital signs, the case underscores the importance of timely surgical intervention and comprehensive postoperative care. The study aims to identify risk factors, diagnostic approaches, and effective management strategies for jejunal atresia in neonates. Research methods included clinical evaluation, imaging (X-ray), and exploratory laparotomy, followed by the Santulli procedure. Findings revealed type IV atresia with multiple lesions, treated surgically. However, the patient succumbed to sepsis 26 hours post-operation, emphasizing the critical need for early intervention and robust postoperative monitoring. The implications of this research stress the urgency of early diagnosis, appropriate surgical techniques, and multidisciplinary care to improve survival rates in such cases.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors influence Revisit Intention and the role of Patient Satisfaction in mediating the relationship between variables. There are three independent variables and one moderating variable related to the Revisit Intention variable in the hospital. In accordance with this objective, the research method used in this study is a survey method with a cross-sectional approach. The unit of analysis in this study is patients who make repeat visits to the hospital. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire instrument whose data source comes from research respondents selected using the purposive sampling method. Cross-sectional data was taken from a private hospital in May 2025 which was obtained from 138 selected respondents. The results of the study from 138 respondents whose data had been processed showed that the doctor-patient relationship variable had a positive and significant influence on revisit intention mediated by patient satisfaction. Meanwhile, the hospital service excellence variable had no influence on revisit intention mediated by patient satisfaction. The physical environment variable had no influence on revisit intention mediated by patient satisfaction. The Doctor-Patient Relationship had the greatest positive influence on revisit intention. The results of this study are expected to provide suggestions to the Hospital to strengthen the factors that influence the interest of patients to revisit the outpatient clinic.
