Abstract

The current research examines the impact regarding financial literacy and transparency on budget management within Voting Organizing Committees (PPS) in Donggala Regency, Indonesia. A quantitative approach is employed, involving a census of 501 PPS members from 167 subdistricts. Data is gathered via structured surveys and assessed using multiple linear regression in SPSS software. The analysis includes instrument validation, reliability testing, and classical assumption diagnostics such as normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. Hypothesis testing is conducted through t-tests and F-tests, with model explanatory power assessed using the coefficient of determination (r2). The findings reveal that financial literacy and transparency both significantly enhance budget management, accounting for 78.1% of the model’s explanatory power. Specifically, increased financial literacy enables PPS members to plan, allocate, and report budget usage effectively, while transparency enhances accountability and deters misuse through open financial disclosures. The study’s implications are twofold: theoretically, it supports Public Financial Management and Agency theories, highlighting the importance of competence and openness in public budget administration; practically, it calls for integrated training programs to enhance financial skills and transparency in electoral governance. These results contribute to improving democratic integrity and public trust in electoral processes.

Abstract

The Telaga Ngebel Complex is an area with an active geothermal system. Geothermal energy is considered a promising alternative energy source for the future, especially in light of the depletion of fossil fuels. In geothermal exploration, altered rocks serve as indicators of the presence of a geothermal system. The existence of an active geothermal system is closely related to alteration zones, which are, in turn, influenced by geological structures. This study aims to identify the structural controls on the distribution of alteration zones. The methods used include literature review, field surveys, remote sensing, sampling of altered rocks, and collection and measurement of structural data. The results show that the study area has a high density of structural lineaments in the southern part of the lake, as evidenced by the intersection of several strike-slip faults. These intersections serve as pathways for hydrothermal fluids to ascend. The alteration found in these high-density areas is predominantly propylitic alteration. Other types of alteration observed include argillic alteration.

Abstract

Urban poverty continues to show new complexities along with the development of digital technology and rapid social change. Inequality in access to technology has deepened social disparities and marginalized vulnerable groups in the urban ecosystem. On the other hand, conventional social policies are considered not adaptive enough to respond to the dynamics of the needs of the urban poor. This study aims to formulate an innovative digital-based social policy model to combat urban poverty more effectively. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection through a literature review of various relevant literature. Data are analyzed in depth to find patterns and relationships between elements that contribute to the formulation of digital social policies. The results of the study show that the use of digital technology has great potential in accelerating data collection, increasing public participation, and encouraging policy transparency. Social policy innovations that integrate technology, data, and cross-sector collaboration have proven to be able to respond to structural challenges in the urban policy system. Therefore, the formulated policy model not only offers a more adaptive approach but also becomes a strategic foundation for realizing social justice amidst digital transformation.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology and internet access has significantly impacted Generation Z, the largest group of internet users in Indonesia. While the internet provides various benefits, excessive use may lead to internet addiction, negatively affecting quality of life, particularly in psychological, physical, and social domains. Family functioning plays a crucial role in supporting the well-being of individuals experiencing internet addiction. This study aims to examine the effect of family functioning on the quality of life of Generation Z individuals with internet addiction. A quantitative approach was employed involving 633 participants aged 17-27 years who were categorized as having moderate to severe internet addiction. Measurements were conducted using the Internet Addiction Test (IAT) by Young (1998), WHOQOL-BREF by the World Health Organization (1996), and the McMaster Family Assessment Device-General Functioning (FAD-GF) by Epstein, Baldwin, & Bishop (1983). Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation and linear regression. The results revealed a significant negative correlation between family functioning scores and quality of life, indicating that better family functioning (lower FAD-GF scores) is associated with higher quality of life. Family functioning contributed most to the social domain (r = -.299, R² = .099, p < .001), followed by the environmental (r = -.275, R² = .081, p < .001), psychological (r = -.234, R² = .061, p < .001), and physical dimensions (r = -.161, R² = .031, p < .001). These findings emphasize the importance of family functioning particularly emotional and social support in enhancing the quality of life among Generation Z individuals with internet addiction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between Green Product Innovation (GPI) and sustainable competitive advantage (SCA) in the context of MSMEs in the food sector in West Java. The approach used is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 30 selected scientific articles from various international databases. The results of the analysis show that the main indicators of GPI include environmentally friendly product design, use of sustainable raw materials, green processing technology, and ecological packaging. The dominant dimensions of SCA include cost advantage, product differentiation, customer loyalty, sustainable innovation, and corporate image (green image). Most of the literature supports a positive relationship between GPI and SCA through the mechanisms of operational efficiency, increased brand value, and market attractiveness. There is a theoretical gap due to the lack of integration between GPI and classical strategy frameworks such as Resource-Based View (RBV) and Porter's Generic Strategies. This study provides practical contributions to the food industry through recommendations for systematic adoption of GPI, as well as theoretical contributions in strengthening the resource-based sustainability model. Further research is recommended to use quantitative and longitudinal approaches to deepen the understanding of the causal relationship between these key variables.
