Abstract

The internet poses significant risks to students whose cognitive development is still ongoing. These risks include negative impacts such as low literacy levels, exposure to pornography, instant gratification mindset, apathy, cybercrime, and cyberbullying. This study aims to cultivate positive behavioral habits and encourage teachers to create educational content on social media. Promoting positive behavior on social media is the primary focus of this research. Furthermore, building collaboration and elaboration between students and teachers in developing educational content on social media will enhance the school’s reputation. This study employs quantitative methods, utilizing variables such as social media, teachers' self-directed learning, and teachers' personal development. The respondents consist of 150 individuals aged between 23 and 35. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, and the data were analyzed through linear regression and path analysis. The findings indicate a positive influence of social media and self-directed learning on teachers' personal development, with a total contribution of 63.47%, as demonstrated by path analysis. The path analysis calculations suggest these three variables have a strong influence and significant relationship.

Abstract

The growing elderly population in Indonesia underscores the importance of improving quality of life, particularly in social and psychological aspects. Elderly Schools (Sekolah Lansia) have emerged as a non-formal educational innovation aimed at fostering SMART older adults those who are Healthy, Independent, Active, Productive, and Dignified. This study aims to analyze the communication styles employed at the Purbaya Elderly School in Salatiga in sustaining the potential of elderly students. Using a constructivist qualitative approach, data were collected through observation and interviews with facilitators and elderly participants. The findings indicate that an equalitarian communication style is predominantly applied one that emphasizes equality, openness, and mutual respect. Facilitators position themselves as learning companions rather than authoritative instructors, creating a relaxed, cheerful, and inclusive atmosphere. Polite and familiar language, the use of light humor, and a friendly tone enhance elderly engagement in the classroom. Elderly participants are given space to share experiences, engage in discussions, and remain socially and intellectually active. This equality-based communication style has proven effective in reactivating the potential of older adults, boosting their self-confidence, and challenging stereotypes that portray the elderly as unproductive. Through appropriate communication strategies, elderly schools serve as meaningful spaces for the empowerment of older adults.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and incentives on employee performance at PT Mazda Indonesia. A quantitative research method was employed, involving observation and data collection through the distribution of questionnaires to employees. Data were analyzed using associative hypothesis testing with the aid of SPSS version 23 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). Multiple linear regression analysis was utilized to test the hypotheses, and the results indicated that both competence and incentives have a significant effect on employee performance. Statistically, the regression coefficients for both variables demonstrated a positive relationship, implying that improvements in employee competence and incentives lead to enhanced performance. The t-test results showed that the significance value for competence was 0.004 and for incentives was 0.05, confirming that the hypotheses are accepted. The regression analysis further revealed that competence has the most dominant influence in enhancing employee performance. Therefore, it is recommended that the company prioritize employee competence development through training and education, while also providing appropriate incentives to motivate employees toward achieving higher work performance.

Abstract

This research explores and develops new theories about the trends of the contemporary Muslimah da'wah movement in building Sakinah, Mawaddah, and Rahmah families in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, this research explores the concepts, strategies, and patterns of da'wah used by the Muslimah da'wah movement in building Islamic family resilience, namely sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah families. The result of this research is that the concept of sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah family used by the Muslimah da'wah movement refers to QS. ar-Rūm: 21 is not clear, especially the aspect of mawaddah so that it has an impact on the da'wah movement which includes elements and also management of building a sakinah, mawaddah and rahmah family. This can be seen in the imbalance in the distribution of da'wah materials, especially those related to sex education and husband and wife relationships in the family. Sex education and healthy interaction or behavior of husband and wife as an integral part of da'wah can provide positive input for the family. The collaboration of social media with formal and non-formal education in stages by including family sciences in the curriculum is needed to help individuals internalize religious values, facilitate deeper understanding, and stimulate spiritual reflection in the family.

Abstract

This research examines the legal force and protective function of informed consent in high-risk surgical procedures, focusing particularly on the latest regulatory framework in Indonesia as stipulated by Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health. Currently, there is a notable absence of specific scholarly examination addressing this issue comprehensively. Although the regulation clearly defines patients’ rights to comprehensive medical information and mandates healthcare providers to deliver it transparently, practical ambiguities remain regarding the extent of informed consent’s binding legal authority and effectiveness in providing legal protection for both patients and medical professionals. Employing a normative juridical approach with descriptive-analytical methods, the study is primarily based on literature review and analysis of relevant Supreme Court decisions. The central objective of this research is to evaluate the legal enforceability and protective role of informed consent within the context of high-risk surgical treatments. The findings reveal that informed consent possesses substantial legal force derived from contractual principles established between patients and healthcare providers, thereby ensuring mutual legal protection during high-risk medical procedures. Informed consent encompasses preventive measures that aimed at averting potential disputes through clear communication, and repressive measures, which offer legal remedies in cases of violation, thus strengthening accountability and legal certainty within healthcare services.

Abstract

Suicidal ideation among college students is a significant mental health issue that requires serious attention. This study aims to examine the role of family harmony as a moderator in the relationship between resilience and suicidal ideation in college students. The study used a quantitative approach with a non-experimental design and convenience sampling method. A total of 388 college students aged 18-25 years old who live with or regularly interact with their families participated in an online survey using the Beck Scale for Suicide Ideation (BSSI), Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC), and Family Harmony Scale (FHS-24). The results of the moderation regression analysis showed that resilience has a significant negative relationship with suicidal ideation, which means that the higher a person's resilience, the lower the tendency of suicidal ideation. In addition, family harmony acted as a moderator in this relationship; students with high resilience from harmonious families showed lower levels of suicidal ideation compared to those from less harmonious families. These findings confirm the importance of family support and strengthening resilience as protective strategies to prevent suicidal ideation among college students. The implications of this study lead to the development of intervention programs that focus on coping training, psychological counseling, and family education to improve the mental well-being of university students.
