JAHR is dedicated to publishing results of research and literature review from different areas of public health, which includes the study of Administration & Policy Health, Health Promotion and Behavior, Biostatistics, Public Health Epidemiology, Environmental Health, Public Health Nutrition, and Health & Safety work and others related determinants of illness. A valid and accepted scientific methodology must be applied. Journal of Aafiyah Health Research (JAHR) is published by the Postgraduate Program in Public Health, Universitas Muslim Indonesia. The publication is issued twice a year (June and December). JAHR encourages the submission of studies from developing countries, as research publication from developing countries is underrepresented in international journals. We welcome all of the students, experts, practitioners, and academicians who are interested in JAHR to submit their articles. The authors can submit articles by following the scheduled publication of JAHR. Articles are written in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Start from the next publication Vol.2, No. 2 (July-December 2021) JAHR only accepted manuscripts written in ENGLISH.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit kronis yang paling banyak dialami oleh lansia dan dapat berdampak pada penurunan kualitas hidup. Penanganan hipertensi pada lansia tidak hanya berfokus pada pengobatan, tetapi juga memerlukan keterlibatan aktif lansia dalam hal self care management dan pengendalian stres. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh self care management terhadap kualitas hidup lansia dengan hipertensi yang mengikuti Prolanis di Puskesmas Moncongloe Kabupaten Maros. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 45 lansia hipertensi serta diambil menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self care management berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kualitas hidup lansia yang mengikuti prolanis (p-value = 0.002). Kesimpulan: Kegiatan prolanis bagi lansia memiliki dampak positif terhadap peningkatan self care management serta pengendalian stres bagi lansia dengan hipertensi sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka. Disarankan agar tenaga kesehatan lebih aktif dalam memberikan edukasi terkait self care management serta melakukan skrining dan manajemen stres secara rutin terhadap lansia dengan hipertensi.   ABSTRACT Background: Hypertension is one of the most prevalent chronic conditions affecting the elderly and is strongly associated with a decline in quality of life. Effective management extends beyond pharmacological treatment and requires active patient involvement through self-care practices and stress regulation. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of self-care management on the quality of life of elderly people with hypertension who participated in Prolanis at the Moncongloe Community Health Center, Maros Regency. Method: A quantitative, cross-sectional research design was employed. The study involved 45 elderly participants diagnosed with hypertension selected using random sampling techniques. Results: The findings revealed that self-care management had a statistically significant effect on quality of life among both Prolanis participants (p value= 0.002). Conclusion: In conclusion, participation in the Prolanis program contributes positively to improved self-care behaviors and stress management among elderly individuals with hypertension, thereby enhancing their quality of life. These findings underscore the importance of integrating health education, regular stress screening, and tailored self-care support into community-based chronic disease programs.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Stunting adalah kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak balita (bayi dibawah lima tahun) akibat dari kekurangan gizi kronis sehingga anak terlalu pendek untuk usianya. Kekurangan gizi terjadi sejak bayi dalam kandungan dan pada masa awal setelah bayi lahir akan tetapi, kondisi stunting baru nampak setelah bayi berusia 2 tahun Tujuan: untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor sosial, ekonomi, dan praktik kesehatan terhadap kejadian stunting pada balita di Kecamatan Bungoro, Kabupaten Pangkep. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 274 balita, yang diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup kepada ibu balita sebagai responden. Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa umur ibu p-value = 0,000, pendidikan p-value = 0,04, pengetahuan p-value = 0,02, sikap p-value = 0,01, pemberian makanan p-value = 0,004 anak serta kesehatan anak p-value = 0,003 berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kejadian stunting. Sementara itu, pekerjaan ibu p-value = 0,508 dan pendapatan keluarga p-value = 0,712 tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Kesimpulan: Penanggulangan stunting membutuhkan pendekatan yang menyeluruh, termasuk peningkatan edukasi gizi kepada ibu, penyediaan akses terhadap makanan bergizi, perbaikan pelayanan kesehatan, dan keterlibatan lintas sektor.   ABSTRACT Background: Stunting is a condition of growth failure in toddlers (babies under five years old) due to chronic malnutrition so that the child is too short for his age. Malnutrition occurs since the baby is in the womb and in the early period after the baby is born, however, stunting conditions only appear after the baby is 2 years old. Objective: to determine the influence of social, economic factors, and health practices on the incidence of stunting in toddlers in Bungoro District, Pangkep Regency. Method: This study is a quantitative analytical study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 274 toddlers, taken using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using a closed questionnaire to the toddler's mother as respondents. Results: shows that the mother's age p-value = 0.000, education p-value = 0.04, knowledge p-value = 0.02, attitude p-value = 0.01, child feeding p-value = 0.004 and child health p-value = 0.003 have a significant effect on the incidence of stunting. Meanwhile, maternal occupation p-value = 0.508 and family income p-value = 0.712 did not show a significant effect. Conclusion: Overcoming stunting requires a comprehensive approach, including increasing nutritional education for mothers, providing access to nutritious food, improving health services, and cross-sector involvement.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Pelayanan kesehatan yang berkualitas dan aman bagi pasien merupakan prioritas utama dalam sistem kesehatan. Patient safety (Keselamatan Pasien) menjadi indikator penting dalam menilai mutu pelayanan kesehatan di fasilitas kesehatan seperti Puskesmas. Perilaku kooperatif tenaga kesehatan sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kepuasan kerja, mengurangi stres dan meningkatkan kemampuan untuk bekerja sama agar memberikan pelayanan yang berkualitas pada pelayanan kesehatan karena dapat meningkatkan komunikasi efektif. Aspek-aspek yang berperan penting dalam Serviscapes (lingkungan kerja fisik) menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung keselamatan pasien, mendukung komunikasi terbuka, meningkatkan kerja sama tim dan mengurangi risiko kesalahan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis antara servicescapes (lingkungan kerja fisik) terhadap patient safety dan cooperative behavior di Puskesmas. Metode: Penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan study observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional study. Sampel sebanyak 108 responden dengan menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil: Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan servicescapes (lingkungan kerja fisik) terhadap patient safety dan cooperative behavior diperoleh nilai (p=0,001 < =0,05) artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara serviscapes (lingkungan kerja fisik) terhadap patient safety dan cooperative behavior. Kesimpulan: Servicescapes (lingkungan kerja fisik) aspek memiliki hubungan terhadap patien safety dan cooperative behavior. ABSTRACT Background: Quality and safe health care for patients is a top priority in the health system. Patient safety is an important indicator in assessing the quality of health services in health facilities such as health centers. Cooperative behavior of health workers is very important in increasing job satisfaction, reducing stress and increasing the ability to work together to provide quality services in health services because it can improve effective communication. The aspects that play an important role in Serviscapes (physical work environment) create a work environment that supports patient safety, supports open communication, improves teamwork and reduces the risk of errors. Objectives: This study aims to analyze between servicescapes (physical work environment) on patient safety and cooperative behavior in Puskesmas. Methods: The research used is a type of quantitative research that uses an analytical observational study with a cross sectional study design. The sample was 108 respondents using the chi square test. Results: The results of the bivariate test show that there is a relationship between servicescapes (physical work environment) to patient safety and cooperative behavior obtained a value (p = 0.001 <  = 0.05) meaning that there is a significant relationship between servicescapes (physical work environment) to patient safety and cooperative behavior. Conclusion: Servicescapes (physical work environment) aspects have a relationship with patient safety and cooperative behavior.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kualitas pelayanan kesehatan merupakan aspek penting yang memengaruhi kenyamanan dan kepuasan pasien selama menjalani perawatan. Pelayanan yang baik akan membangun kepercayaan dan memberikan pengalaman positif bagi pasien di rumah sakit. Komunikasi terapeutik perawat juga berperan besar dalam membentuk hubungan emosional yang mendukung proses penyembuhan. Komunikasi yang empatik, terbuka, dan jelas membuat pasien merasa dihargai dan lebih puas terhadap layanan yang diberikan. Kedua aspek ini penting untuk dianalisis karena berkontribusi terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasien di ruang rawat inap. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui analisis pengaruh Kualitas pelayanan Kesehatan dan komunikasi terapeutik perawat terhadap kepuasan pasien di ruang rawat inap RSUD Labuang Baji Makassar. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 160 pasien umum rawat inap di RSUD Labuang Baji Makassar, menggunakan teknik sampling purposive sampling, data di kumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah di uji validitas dan realibilitas serta dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square dan regresi logistik. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua dimensi kualitas pelayanan dan komunikasi terapeutik berhubungan signifikan dengan kepuasan pasien. Dimensi patient admission memiliki nilai p = 0,019, medical service p = 0,009, overall service p = 0,044, hospital discharge p = 0,045, dan hospital social responsibility p = 0,023. Sementara itu, pada komunikasi terapeutik, tahap pra-interaksi menunjukkan nilai p = 0,025, orientasi p = 0,033, kerja p = 0,013, dan terminasi p = 0,018 terdapat hubungan yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien di ruang rawat inap RSUD Labuang Baji Makassar. Kesimpulan: Kualitas pelayanan kesehatan dan komunikasi terapeutik perawat berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pasien rawat inap. Semakin baik pelayanan dan komunikasi yang diberikan, maka semakin tinggi tingkat kepuasan yang dirasakan oleh pasien.   ABSTRACT Background: The quality of healthcare services is a crucial aspect influencing patient comfort and satisfaction during treatment. Good service builds trust and provides a positive experience for patients in the hospital. Nurses' therapeutic communication also plays a significant role in establishing emotional bonds that support the healing process. Empathetic, open, and clear communication makes patients feel valued and more satisfied with the care provided. These two aspects are important to analyze because they contribute to patient satisfaction levels in inpatient settings. Objective: This study aims to determine the analysis of the influence of the quality of health services and therapeutic communication of nurses on patient satisfaction in the inpatient ward of Labuang Baji Regional General Hospital, Makassar. Method: This study used a quantitative cross-sectional approach. The sample of 160 general inpatients at Labuang Baji Makassar Regional General Hospital was selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability and analyzed using the chi-square test and logistic regression. Results: significantly related to patient satisfaction. The patient admission dimension had a p value = 0.019, medical service p = 0.009, overall service p = 0.044, hospital discharge p = 0.045, and hospital social responsibility p = 0.023. Meanwhile, in therapeutic communication, the pre-interaction stage showed a p value = 0.025, orientation p = 0.033, work p = 0.013, and termination p = 0.018 had a significant relationship to patient satisfaction in the inpatient ward of Labuang Baji Regional Hospital, Makassar. Conclusion: The quality of healthcare services and therapeutic communication between nurses significantly influence patient satisfaction in inpatient wards. The better the service and communication provided, the higher the level of patient satisfaction.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Sektor pertanian, secara global, memainkan peran yang tak terhindarkan dalam kehidupan manusia, melibatkan sekitar setengah dari angkatan kerja dunia. Namun risiko di sektor ini, termasuk tingkat kematian dan cedera yang tinggi, menjadikannya salah satu sektor paling berbahaya di dunia. Sumber data International Labour Organization (ILO) menyatakan bahwa tahun 2018 sekitar 2,78 juta pekerja mengalami kematian setiap tahun akibat kecelakaan dan penyakit ditempat kerja. Badan Asuransi Cedera Kerja Pemerintah Italia (INAIL) mengatakan bahwasanya kurang lebih 50.000 kecelakaan yang melibatkan mesin terdapat pada sektor industri pertanian di tahun 2010, dalam data tersebut, termasuk lebih dari 100 kecelakaan fatal yang menyeret pekerja professional dimana 80 di antaranya dalami oleh petani paruh waktu. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui gambaran kejadian kecelakaan pada petani sayur di Desa Mooat Sulawesi Utara. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode observasi analitik dan rancangan cross sectional study. Populasi sebanyak 168 petani sayur dengan menggunakan total sampling. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi Square dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil: Terdapat hubungan antara tindakan tidak aman (0,000), dengan kejadian kecelakaan kerja pada petani sayur di Desa Mooat Sulawesi Utara. Saran: Diharapkan edukasi yang lebih intensif mengenai potensi risiko kecelakaan kerja yang dapat muncul akibat tindakan tidak aman, termasuk kebiasaan bersenda gurau selama bekerja. Sosialisasi yang melibatkan petani secara langsung di lapangan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran mereka akan dampak jangka panjang dari kebiasaan tersebut terhadap keselamatan kerja. ABSTRACT Background: The agricultural sector, globally, plays an unavoidable role in human life, involving about half of the world's workforce. However, the risks in this sector, including high death and injury rates, make it one of the most dangerous sectors in the world. Data from the International Labor Organization (ILO) states that in 2018 around 2.78 million workers died each year due to accidents and diseases in the workplace. The Italian Government's Work Injury Insurance Agency (INAIL) said that approximately 50,000 accidents involving machines occurred in the agricultural industry sector in 2010, in the data, including more than 100 fatal accidents involving professional workers, 80 of which were experienced by part-time farmers. Objective: To determine the circumstances surrounding accidents involving vegetable farmers in Mooat Village, North Sulawesi. Method: This study uses a quantitative research type with an analytical observation method and a cross-sectional study design. The population was 168 vegetable farmers using total sampling. Data the study was analyzed using the Chi Square test and multiple linear regression. Results: There is a relationship between unsafe actions (0.000) and work accidents among vegetable farmers in Mooat Village, North Sulawesi. Suggestion: More intensive education is expected regarding the potential risks of work accidents that can arise due to unsafe actions, including the habit of joking while working. Socialization that directly involves farmers in the field is expected to increase their awareness of the long-term impacts of these habits on work safety.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Pelaksanaan transformasi layanan primer melalui kebijakan Integrasi Pelayanan Kesehatan Primer (ILP) merupakan upaya strategis Kementerian Kesehatan dalam meningkatkan cakupan layanan berbasis siklus hidup secara komprehensif dan berkesinambungan hingga ke tingkat desa dan dusun. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan ILP di Puskesmas Lanrisang, Kabupaten Pinrang, sebagai puskesmas lokus perluasan ILP tahun 2024. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan telaah dokumen. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan tiga komponen implementasi: input, proses, dan output, dengan mengacu pada Petunjuk Teknis PMK No. 2015 Tahun 2023 tentang Integrasi Pelayanan Kesehatan Primer. Hasil: Pelaksanaan ILP di Puskesmas Lanrisang belum sepenuhnya berjalan optimal. Pada aspek input, ketersediaan sarana prasarana, pendanaan serta infrastruktur sebagian besar sudah memadai, namun distribusi SDM terutama dokter belum merata pada seluruh klaster. Dari aspek proses, pelaksanaan pelayanan berbasis klaster telah dilakukan sesuai SOP, namun pada Klaster 3 ditemukan ketidaksesuaian dalam sasaran layanan. Pendekatan jejaring di Pustu dan Posyandu telah berjalan baik sesuai juknis, tetapi kunjungan rumah masih dilaksanakan oleh tim dari inovasi puskesmas, bukan oleh kader bersama petugas pustu sebagaimana diatur dalam KMK NO. HK.01.07/MENKES/2015/2023. Sementara itu, penguatan digitalisasi telah berjalan baik di tingkat puskesmas pada proses pelayanan namun belum sepenuhnya berjalan optimal pada pencatatan dan pelaporan secara digitalisasi di Pustu sehingga masih menggunakan pencatatan manual. Dari sisi output, ketersediaan layanan cukup lengkap, namun pemanfaatannya belum optimal, tercermin dari penurunan kunjungan dalam beberapa bulan terakhir. Kesimpulan: Implementasi ILP di Puskesmas Lanrisang menunjukkan kemajuan, namun belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan juknis. Diperlukan penguatan pemahaman tim pelaksana, pemerataan tenaga kesehatan, serta percepatan digitalisasi di seluruh jejaring pelayanan agar integrasi pelayanan primer dapat berjalan efektif dan berkelanjutan. ABSTRACT Background: The implementation of primary care transformation through the Primary Health Care Integration (ILP) policy is a strategic effort of the Ministry of Health in increasing the coverage of life cycle-based services comprehensively and continuously to the village and hamlet levels. Objective: To the implementation of ILP policy in Puskesmas Lanrisang, Pinrang Regency, as the locus of ILP expansion in 2024. Method: This research used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document review. Analysis was conducted based on three components of implementation: inputs, processes, and outputs, with reference to the Technical Guidelines of PMK No. 2015 Year 2023 on Primary Health Care Integration. Results: The implementation of ILP at Lanrisang Health Center has not fully run optimally. In the input aspect, the availability of infrastructure, funding and infrastructure is mostly adequate, but the distribution of human resources, especially doctors, is not evenly distributed throughout the cluster. From the process aspect, the implementation of cluster-based services has been carried out according to the SOP, but in Cluster 3 there are discrepancies in service targets. The network approach in Pustu and Posyandu has worked well according to the technical guidelines, but home visits are still carried out by the puskesmas innovation team, not by cadres together with pustu officers as stipulated in KMK NO. HK.01.07/MENKES/2015/2023. Meanwhile, the strengthening of digitalization has been running well at the puskesmas level in the service process, but it has not been fully optimized in the recording and reporting of digitalization at Pustu so that they still use manual recording. In terms of output, the availability of services is quite complete, but utilization is not optimal, reflected in the decline in visits in recent months. Conclusion: The implementation of ILP at Lanrisang Health Center shows progress, but not yet fully in accordance with the technical guidelines. Strengthening the understanding of the implementation team, equitable distribution of health workers, and accelerating digitization in all service networks are needed so that primary care integration can run effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Fraud dalam konteks kesehatan merupakan suatu tindakan penipuan atau pemalsuan informasi yang sengaja dilakukan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan tidak sah atau mengabaikan standar kualitas atau keselamatan dalam pelayanan kesehatan baik secara finansial maupun lainnya dalam sistem kesehatan. Hal ini bisa mencakup pemalsuan data medis, penipuan asuransi, atau pemalsuan dokumen terkait perawatan pasien di unit pelayanan kesehatan. Tujuan: (1) Untuk mendapatkan informasi dan mengkaji secara mendalam mengenai potensi fraud dalam pelaksanaan Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional pada Puskesmas di Kabupaten Wakatobi. (2) Untuk menggali secara mendalam faktor tekanan, kesempatan, rasionalisasi dan kemampuan terkait potensi fraud dalam pelaksanaan Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional pada Puskesmas Wangi-Wangi dan Puskesmas Wangi-Wangi Selatan di Kabupaten Wakatobi. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuasi kualitatif. Teknik Pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi serta FGD. Jumlah informan dalam penelitian yaitu 15 orang yang terdiri dari Kepala Puskesmas, Pengelola JKN, Dokter IGD Puskesmas, Penanggung Jawab Kamar bersalin, Penanggung Jawab Loket, Penanggung Jawab Apotik, Pasien JKN dan Kepala Bidang Bina Pelayanan Kesehatan Dinas Kesehatan. Hasil: Potensi fraud pada Puskesmas di Kabupaten Wakatobi khususnya Puskesmas Wangi-Wangi dan Puskesmas Wangi-Wangi Selatan dipengaruhi oleh oleh beberapa faktor utama : (1) Tekanan untuk mencapai target yang tinggi yang dirasakan oleh kepala puskesmas dan petugas puskesmas, (2) Kesempatan untuk melakukan penyimpangan yaitu adanya celah dalam pengawasan internal memberi kesempatan kepada petugas untuk mengubah atau melakukan kesalahan dalam penginputan klaim, (3) Rasionalisasi yang dibenarkan untuk memenuhi tuntutan pekerjaan atau menghindari akibat yang lebih buruk, (4) Ketidakpuasan pasien terhadap biaya tambahan yang mereka harus bayar, (5) Kemampuan individu dalam melakukan fraud cukup tinggi karena adanya akses dan pengetahuan teknis terkait data pasien dan klaim pasien. ABSTRACT Background: Fraud in the context of healthcare refers to acts of deception or falsification of information that are deliberately committed to obtain unlawful gains or disregard quality or safety standards in healthcare services, whether financial or otherwise, within the healthcare system. This can include falsification of medical data, insurance fraud, or falsification of documents related to patient care in healthcare facilities. Objective: (1) To obtain information and conduct an in-depth assessment of the potential for fraud in the implementation of National Health Insurance at Community Health Centers in Wakatobi Regency. (2) To explore in depth the factors of pressure, opportunity, rationalization, and capability related to the potential for fraud in the implementation of National Health Insurance at the Wangi-Wangi Community Health Center and the South Wangi-Wangi Community Health Center in Wakatobi Regency. Method: This study was conducted using a quasi-qualitative method. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and focus group discussions (FGD). The number of informants in the study was 15 individuals, comprising the Head of the Community Health Center, JKN Administrator, Emergency Room Doctor at the Community Health Center, Head of the Delivery Room, Head of the Registration Desk, Head of the Pharmacy, JKN Patients, and Head of the Health Service Development Division at the Health Department. Results: The potential for fraud at community health centers in Wakatobi Regency, particularly the Wangi-Wangi and South Wangi-Wangi community health centers, is influenced by several key factors: (1) Pressure to achieve high targets felt by community health center heads and staff, (2) Opportunities for misconduct, such as gaps in internal oversight that allow staff to alter or make errors in claim data entry, (3) Justified rationalizations to meet work demands or avoid worse consequences, (4) Patient dissatisfaction with additional costs they must pay, (5) High individual capacity for fraud due to access and technical knowledge related to patient data and claims.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Pemilihan metode kontrasepsi jangka panjang (MKJP) dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang mencakup aspek kognitif, sosial, dan ketersediaan layanan. Meskipun MKJP terbukti efektif, tingkat penggunaannya masih rendah dibandingkan metode jangka pendek. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengalaman efek samping, dukungan keluarga, ketersediaan kontrasepsi, konseling KB, media sosial, terhadap pemilihan MKJP pada akseptor KB di RSKD Siti Fatimah. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, melibatkan 239 responden yang dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil: Hasil analisis didapatkan variabel yang signifikan yaitu pengetahuan (p = 0,000), kepercayaan (p = 0,001), yang menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pemilihan MKJP. Variabel pengetahuan dan kepercayaan memengaruhi pemilihan MKJP. Sementara variabel pengalaman efek samping (p = 0,289), dukungan keluarga (p = 0,631), ketersediaan kontrasepsi (p = 0,214), konseling KB (p = 0,133), dan media sosial (p = 0,335), tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Mayoritas responden memilih metode implan (42,3%), diikuti IUD (34,7%) dan MOW (23%). Saran: Pentingnya peningkatan edukasi, konseling yang lebih berkualitas, serta keterlibatan aktif tenaga kesehatan dalam penguatan promosi MKJP agar dapat meningkatkan pemanfaatan kontrasepsi jangka panjang secara rasional dan tepat.   ABSTRACT Background: The selection of long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) is influenced by various factors, including cognitive, social, and service accessibility aspects. Although LARCs are proven effective, their usage remains lower than short-term contraceptive methods. Objective: To analyze the influence of knowledge, trust, side-effect experiences, family support, number of children, contraceptive availability, family planning counseling, social media, and economic status on the selection of LARCs among family planning acceptors at RSKD Siti Fatimah. Method: This research employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design involving 239 respondents. Data were analyzed using the chi square test. Results: The analysis results obtained significant variables, namely knowledge (p= 0,000) and trust (p= 0,001), showing a significant influence on the choice of LARCs. Knowledge and trust variables influence the choice of LARCs. Meanwhile, the variables of side effect experience (p= 0,289), family support (p= 0,631), availability of contraception (p= 0,214), family planning counseling (p= 0,133), and social media (p= 0,335) did not show a significant influence. Most respondents chose the implant (42.3%), followed by IUD (34.7%) and female sterilization (MOW) (23%). Recommendation: The findings highlight the importance of improving health education, delivering high-quality counseling, and enhancing the role of health professionals in promoting the rational and informed use of LARCs.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: HIV/AIDS memiliki risiko yang besar ditularkan melalui hubungan seksual termasuk Pekerja Seksual Komersial (PSK) dan pelanggannya, akibat praktek seksual yang tidak aman. Meningkatnya prevalensi HIV/AIDS di Indonesia berkaitan erat dengan rendahnya perilaku pencegahan yang dilakukan. Tujuan: (1) Mengetahui gambaran karakteristik sosio-demografi responden. (2) Mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan terhadap perilaku pencegahan HIV AIDS (3) Mengetahui pengaruh pengetahuan terhadap perilaku pencegahan HIV AIDS. (4) Mengetahui pengaruh dukungan orang terdekat terhadap perilaku pencegahan HIV AIDS. (5) Mengetahui pengaruh dukungan petugas kesehatan terhadap perilaku pencegahan HIV AIDS. (6) Mengetahui pengaruh ketersediaan kondom terhadap perilaku pencegahan HIV AIDS. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang di gunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode analitik, menggunakan desain Cross-sectional pada 75 responden. Hasil: (1) Pekerja Seks Komersial (PSK) di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mpunda Kota Bima dominan berada pada rentang usia produktif, mayoritas PKS status pernikahan cerai hidup, tinggal sendiri, dan menjadi PSK merupakan pekerjaan utama karena sebagian besar tidak bekerja. (2) Pendidikan berpengaruh terhadap perilaku pencegahan HIV/AIDS dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,001. (3) Pengetahuan berpengaruh terhadap perilaku pencegahan HIV/AIDS dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000. (4) Dukungan orang terdekat berpengaruh terhadap perilaku pencegahan HIV/AIDS dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,001. (5) Dukungan petugas kesehatan berpengaruh terhadap perilaku pencegahan HIV/AIDS dengan p value sebesar 0,000 (6) Ketersediaan kondom berpengaruh terhadap perilaku pencegahan HIV/AIDS dengan nilai p value sebesar 0,000. ABSTRACT Background: HIV/AIDS carries a high risk of being transmitted through sexual intercourse, including between Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) and their clients, due to unsafe sexual practices. The increasing prevalence of HIV/AIDS in Indonesia is closely related to the low level of prevention behavior. Objective: (1) Describe the socio-demographic characteristics of respondents. (2) Determine the influence of education on HIV/AIDS prevention behavior. (3) Determine the influence of knowledge on HIV/AIDS prevention behavior. (4) Determine the influence of support from close friends on HIV/AIDS prevention behavior. (5) Determine the influence of support from health workers on HIV/AIDS prevention behavior. (6) Determine the influence of condom availability on HIV/AIDS prevention behavior. Method: The research used a quantitative analytical method, using a cross-sectional design with 75 respondents. Results: (1) Commercial Sex Workers (CSWs) in the Mpunda Community Health Center (Puskesmas) working area in Bima City are predominantly in the productive age range, the majority of CSWs are divorced, live alone, and being a CSW is their main occupation because most are unemployed. (2) Education influences HIV/AIDS prevention behavior with a p-value of 0.001. (3) Knowledge influences HIV/AIDS prevention behavior with a p-value of 0.000. (4) Support from those closest to them influences HIV/AIDS prevention behavior with a p-value of 0.001. (5) Support from health workers influences HIV/AIDS prevention behavior with a p-value of 0.000. (6) Condom availability influences HIV/AIDS prevention behavior with a p-value of 0.000.

Abstract

Abstract Background: Dental caries is one of the most common diseases in children. If left untreated, dental caries can develop into more serious diseases and decrease the child's quality of life. Parents play a crucial role in instilling proper oral health behaviors in children, which can maintain into adulthood. Aim: The purpose of this study was to determine parental behavior and its relationship to the oral health status of students at Kartika IV-77 Kindergarten, Malang, based on the DMF-T index. Method: This cross-sectional study involved 36 pairs of parents and children. Data collection began with informed consent, followed by completion of a parental behavior questionnaire and observation of children's dental health using the DMF-T index. Data were analyzed using SPSS software with regression analysis to assess the relationship between parental behavior and children's DMF-T index. Results: 64% and 14% of respondents reported brushing their teeth twice and three times a day, respectively. Fifty-six percent of respondents also reported a low frequency of consuming sweet foods. On the other hand, only 36% of respondents visited the dentist once every six months. The children's DMF-T index showed a score of three, or moderate. There was a low correlation between parental behavior and the children's DMF-T index. Conclusion: Parental behavior in maintaining oral health at Kartika IV-77 Kindergarten has shown good results. Further research on parenting styles can be conducted to expand on the findings.   Abstrak Latar Belakang: Karies gigi merupakan salah satu penyakit yang paling umum terjadi pada anak-anak. Jika dibiarkan, karies gigi dapat berkembang menjadi penyakit yang lebih serius dan menurunkan kualitas hidup anak. Orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam membimbing dan menanamkan perilaku kesehatan gigi dan mulut yang benar kepada anak agar dapat diteruskan sampai ke masa dewasa. Status kesehatan gigi anak dipengaruhi secara langsung oleh perilaku kesehatan gigi dan mulut orang tua. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku orang tua dan kaitannya dengan status kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada siswa TK Kartika IV-77 Malang berdasarkan indeks DMF-T. Metode: Penelitian potong lintang ini melibatkan 36 pasang orang tua dan anak. Prosedur pengambilan data dimulai dengan pengisian informed consent, dilanjutkan pengisian kuesioner perilaku orang tua dan dilakukan observasi pada status gigi anak menggunakan indeks DMF-T. Data dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS dengan analisis regresi untuk menilai hubungan antara perilaku orang tua dengan indeks DMF-T anak. Hasil: Sebesar 64% dan 14% dari responden mengaku menyikat gigi dua kali dan tiga kali sehari. Sebanyak 56% responden juga mengaku memiliki frekuensi makan makanan manis yang rendah. Di sisi lain, hanya 36% responden yang datang ke dokter gigi sebanyak satu kali dalam enam bulan. Indeks DMF-T anak menunjukkan skor tiga atau kategori sedang. Terdapat korelasi yang rendah antara perilaku orang tua dan indeks DMF-T anak. Kesimpulan: Perilaku orang tua dalam menjaga kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada TK Kartika IV-77 telah menunjukkan angka yang baik. Penelitian lanjutan dari segi gaya mendidik orang tua dapat dilakukan untuk memperluas hasil penelitian.
