Abstract

Ethnic and cultural diversity is a characteristic of Indonesia. Indonesia has various religions with Islam being the majority. In religion, there is a need for balance to create justice, as is done by the Sungai Batang Village Community. Sungai Batang Village is a division of Ketemputih Village. The area of Sungai Batang Village is around 37 km with a population density of 1,665 people and Islam is the majority religion. The moderation carried out by the people of Sungai Batang Village is a form of tolerance by not distinguishing between views on ethnicity and religion. The research aims to analyze the concept of religious moderation which is carried out to obtain the principles applied to religious moderation in the lives of the people of Sungai Batang Village. The method used in the research uses qualitative methods using primary and secondary data samples. After analyzing, the results are obtained in the form of principles that are applied in life in the form of balance (tawazun), justice (i’tidal), tolerance (tasamuh), middle way (tawassuth), deliberation (syura), reform (ishlah), adab. (tahadhdhur), equality (musawah), priority (aulawiyah), dynamic and innovative (tathawwur wa ibtikar).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the various types and techniques for selecting media in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and to formulate recommendations or strategies for optimizing media in the context of religious education. Through this research, it is expected to clearly illustrate to what extent the types and characteristics of media, as well as their effectiveness in PAI learning, can significantly contribute to students' understanding of religious teachings and stimulate their interest and engagement in the learning process. Using a qualitative literature review method, this study aims to summarize and analyze a variety of media that can be used in Islamic Religious Education. This approach will yield a wide range of media that can be employed and techniques for selecting appropriate instructional media to facilitate the comprehension of religious concepts, student engagement, and the appreciation of spiritual values in PAI learning. This article will discuss various types of instructional media that can be utilized in PAI education, such as textbooks, interactive multimedia, instructional videos, and others. Additionally, it will also examine various effective media selection techniques in the context of PAI education, including considerations based on learning objectives, student characteristics, and relevant pedagogical aspects. Knowledge about the types of media and appropriate selection techniques will assist PAI educators in improving the quality of teaching and facilitating students' understanding of Islamic values.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1.) Explain about how the transformation of PAI learning in the digital era, 2.) Describe the modalities of PAI learning in the development of digital technology and 3.) The qualitative method of literature study was used in this study. Books, articles, journals, and others, which are relevant to the topic of the research, were used as references in data collection. This study shows the importance of changing learning models that follow technological advances to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of education, applying the three learning modalities of visual, audio, and kinesthetic with PAI learning in technological developments, and the challenges of PAI learning in the 21st century in the form of poor education and resulting poor human resources. This study can be used as a reference in developing insights about PAI learning. Readers are expected to know the transformation of Islamic Education learning in the 21st century along with the challenges faced.

Abstract

This article is about the role of teachers in shaping students' religious characteristics in the digital era. The digital era brings new challenges in the formation of students' religious character, it requires Islamic Religious Education teachers to adapt and develop innovative strategies. This study aims to analyse the role, strategies, as well as evaluation and development of PAI teachers in shaping learners' religious character in the digital era. This article uses the literature study method to identify and analyse various aspects of challenges, the role of PAI teachers, learning strategies, and evaluation and development methods in the context of religious education in the digital era. The results show that PAI teachers have multifaceted roles as role models, facilitators, mentors, motivators, connectors, filters, and evaluators in religious character building. The discussion leads to the importance of a holistic approach in the formation of religious character in the digital era. PAI teachers need to continuously develop their competence to integrate religious values with the reality of modern technology.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the ruling on combining prayers (jamak) in the context of wedding receptions, carnivals, and floods based on the views of classical and contemporary scholars. The method used is a literature review with qualitative descriptive analysis of fiqh literature, the Qur'an, hadith, and fatwas from scholars of various schools of thought. Jamak prayer refers to the combination of two different prayers performed in one time, such as Dhuhr with Asr or Maghrib with Isha. Generally, activities like wedding receptions and carnivals do not meet the masyaqqah (hardship) criteria that allow for combining prayers, according to the majority of scholars, thus excluding them from rukhshah (concessions). However, scholars such as Ibn Sirrin, al-Qaffal, Abu Ishaq al-Marwazi, and Imam al-Nawawi permit combining prayers due to extreme busyness, provided it does not become habitual. Additionally, scholars like Imam Ahmad, Ibn Taymiyyah, and Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen allow jamak prayer during emergencies, such as floods.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the development of the Islamic education curriculum using a literature review method and comparative analysis, which involves examining various relevant books, journals, and documents, as well as comparing the differences and similarities between different curricula. The research findings indicate that the Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia has gone through four phases: the pre-independence period, the Old Order, the New Order, and the current reform era. In the pre-independence period, the curriculum was heavily influenced by colonialism. During the Old Order, three curricula were implemented: the 1947, 1984, and 1994 curricula. Meanwhile, during the New Order, the curriculum was divided into four, namely 1968, 1975, 1984, and 1994 curricula. Finally, the reform era up to the present includes four curricula: the 2004 curriculum (KBK), the 2006 curriculum (KTSP), the 2013 curriculum, and the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Di tengah tantangan moral dan sosial yang semakin kompleks, penguatan karakter religius menjadi sangat penting dalam pendidikan. Program Pagi Religi di SMK N 3 Purworejo yang meliputi kegiatan seperti Sapa Salam (5S), Murottal Pagi, Kajian Kitab, Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an (BTQ), serta Jumat Religi, Jumat Bersih, dan Jumat Sehat, dirancang untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Melalui penelitian kualitatif ini, ditemukan bahwa kegiatan tersebut efektif dalam membentuk kebiasaan religius, memperkuat nilai moral, dan meningkatkan kedisiplinan siswa dalam beribadah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program Pagi Religi tidak hanya berkontribusi pada peningkatan kemampuan spiritual siswa, tetapi juga membangun karakter yang kuat dan berakhlak mulia, sejalan dengan tujuan pendidikan nasional.

Abstract

Psikologi Agama merupakan cabang psikologi yang berfokus pada pemahaman hubungan antara dimensi psikologis individu dan keyakinan agamanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali kontribusi psikologi agama sebagai pilar dalam studi Islam, serta menganalisis bagaimana ajaran Islam memberikan dasar psikologis bagi individu dalam menghadapi berbagai persoalan hidup, terutama dalam aspek emosional dan spiritual. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur yang mendalam. Data diperoleh dari analisis teks-teks keagamaan Islam, literatur psikologi, serta hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa psikologi agama sebagai pilar studi Islam memiliki peran yang signifikan dalam memahami berbagai fenomena psikologis dalam konteks keagamaan. Melalui ajaran Islam yang menyentuh berbagai aspek kehidupan, individu Muslim dapat mengembangkan keterampilan emosional yang diperlukan untuk menghadapi tantangan hidup, mengelola stres, serta membangun ketahanan psikologis.

Abstract

Moral development in students is very important to be instilled early, both in the family environment, madrasah and society. Therefore, the role of Akidah Akhlak teachers in fostering the morals of fifth grade students at MI Ma'arif 2 Jatisari is needed. The purpose of the study was to determine the morals of students and to determine the role of Akidah Akhlak teachers in fostering the morals of fifth grade students at MI Ma'arif 2 Jatisari. This research is qualitative research. The research design is descriptive qualitative. Data obtained from observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) the morals of students in MI Ma'arif 2 Jatisari are quite good, this is evidenced by moral coaching through habituation, namely praying before starting learning, asmaul husna, tahlil, yasin, memorizing short letters, carrying out dhuha and dhuhur prayers in congregation. Not only that, on Islamic holidays, they also organize routine activities in the holy month of Ramadan, namely flash pesantren, payment and distribution of zakat, distribution of takjil and tarawih together. (2) The role of Akidah Akhlak teachers in fostering the morals of fifth grade students at MI Ma'arif 2 Jatisari is good, namely through various roles such as the role of teachers as facilitators, as mentors, as environmental providers, as models, as motivators, and as managers. Abstract

PAI teachers have the responsibility to not only teach religious material but also motivate students to be more enthusiastic in learning. an energetic taeacher is needed in the teaching and learning process so that it can run well. energetic teachers are also important in achieving student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine teacher creativity in an effort to increase student learning motivation. This research is a descriptive qualitative study whose data collection is obtained by means of observation, interviews and documentation. From the results of this study, the author can conclude that a teacher's energy in increasing student learning motivation is effective in increasing student learning motivation atthis is evidenced by the increase in student learning outcomes at the end of the semester by getting scores above the average and the results of competition championship achievements. Other evidence can be seen from the activeness of students when participating in the teaching and learning process despite the lack of school facilities.
