Abstract

The principal is responsible for the successful implementation of education by carrying out school administration with all of its substance, besides that the principal is responsible for the quality of existing resources so that they are able to carry out their duties in accordance with their respective duties and functions. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to 1) find out the initial preparation, planning, implementation, and evaluation of supervision by the principal in improving the performance of high school teachers in Bandar Lampung; and 2) Knowing the obstacles and solutions to the implementation of high school teacher supervision in Bandar Lampung. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach. The research was conducted at SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung and SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung. The principal acts as research informant, while the vice principal, teachers and staff act as research subjects. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis process is based on the Miles & Hubberman model with 4 stages, namely Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing. Data verification uses source triangulation and methodological triangulation techniques. Based on the results of the research, the clinical supervision program at SMAN 2 Bandar Lampung and SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung has been implemented properly, the principal has made plans, compiled programs and implemented clinical supervision programs. The program planned by the school principal in carrying out clinical supervision is weekly, monthly and semesterly.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in forming the disciplinary character of Ruhama Islamic Middle School students; and 2) knowing the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the formation of the disciplinary character of Ruhama Islamic Middle School students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method and direct observation. The data collection techniques used by interviews, observation and documentation. Checking the validity of the data using source triangulation, technical triangulation and time. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion/verification. The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education, with the teacher as the subject, has a role in the formation of disciplinary character. Islamic Religious Education teachers who always teach by giving advice and motivation, do not forget to also reprimand and give educational punishments to students who break the rules. The use of existing learning methods and media is also maximized in conveying Islamic religious education material in class and training children's discipline, such as the question and answer method, discussion and group work. Apart from that, the core material of Islamic religious education can also be found in school activities such as Duha prayers, the habit of ablution and fardhu prayers on time. Then in an effort there must be supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as in Ruhama Islamic Middle School. In practice teachers, parents, peers and the community environment can be factors that support or hinder efforts to build this disciplinary character.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Strengthening Disciplinary Character Education to Students through the Implementation of Rewards and Punishments, and the impact of Strengthening Discipline Character Education on Students through the Implementation of Rewards and Punishments. This research uses a type of field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews with principals, grade 3 and 5 teachers, and students at MI NU Imaduddin Mejobo. The results showed that in its implementation, there are two types of rewards and punishments given, namely verbally and non-verbally. The impact of the implementation of rewards and punishments as a strengthening of the character of the discipline, students stick to the prevailing discipline. The discipline of Students is getting stronger, especially time discipline, learning discipline, and regulatory discipline.

Abstract

The existence of the covid-19 pandemic that has hit Indonesia since February 2020 seems to be able to change the face of Indonesian education significantly. One of the things that has arisen as a result of the pandemic is the application of the Blended Learning model. The changing learning process makes the implementation of learning not maximal in class so that it causes a decrease in student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of blended learning on integrated social sciences learning outcomes in class VII and VIII students of SMPN 1 Palas, South Lampung. This study uses descriptive verification research methods with ex post facto and survey approaches. The population in this study were students of class VII and VIII of SMPN 1 Palas with a total of 294 students. The sampling technique in this study was probability sampling using simple random sampling. The sample calculation uses the Slovin formula, so that there are 169 respondents. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a simple linear regression test. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is concluded that there is a positive and significant effect of blended learning on learning outcomes of Integrated Social Sciences of 8.64 percent.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a diversity of cultures, languages, religions, beliefs, ethnicities, races and local wisdoms but has the same vision and goals in the view of "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika". The application and appreciation of Pancasila values and diversity in the school ecosystem in an independent curriculum is the right step to produce students who have good morals and morals, are honest, responsible, respect the rights of others, work hard, and so on. This study aims to determine the implementation of the appreciation of Pancasila values and diversity in the school ecosystem at SMA Negeri 5 Palembang. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Collection techniques were used for direct observation of researchers at schools, interviews with teachers and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, conclusion/verification. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that SMA Negeri 5 Palembang had implemented a school ecosystem based on the values of Pancasila and Bhinneka Tunggal Ika through symbols, signs, activities or activities to familiarize students in the school environment both in the school environment and in the school environment. class and outside the classroom which is in line with the goal of an Merdeka curriculum, which is to create lifelong learners with the character of the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the education system in Indonesia. This of course changes the method of face-to-face learning to distance learning (DL). This study aims to 1) find out the learning strategies of class VII PAI teachers during the Covid 19 pandemic at SMPN 1 Kembangbahu Lamongan; and 2) Knowing the obstacles and solutions faced by teachers in implementing PAI learning strategies for class VII during the Covid 19 pandemic at SMPN 1 Kembangbahu Lamongan. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were two class VII Islamic Religious Education subject teachers. Data collection techniques: observation, interviews and documentation. The data validation technique uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the study showed that the learning strategy used by teachers was carried out using a distance learning (DL) strategy. Starting from half the number of classes that attend school, then replaced with each grade every week. In addition, there is maximum effort from PAI teachers in carrying out good learning, one of which is by making videos or audio-visual based learning. Google form is also used as a support for technology-based learning and also the application of active learning carried out in schools such as problem solving, and so on. Existing constraints include: 1). insufficient internet quota 2) misuse of internet quota 3) lack of device facilities 4) implementation of different learning methods between online and offline.

Abstract

Human resource management is the science of managing all human resources in an educational institution. One of the human resources that has a very dominant role in an educational institution is the teacher. Teachers are the spearhead of the success or failure of an educational institution. Without teachers it is impossible for an educational institution to be able to stand well. This is because functionally teachers are people who carry out activities and provide knowledge, skills, education and experience to students. Teacher performance is generally the result of work achieved in carrying out their duties. Likewise with teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The aims of this research is to determine the influence of career development on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan, both partially and simultaneously. The sample used in this study was 59 respondents, with data collection tools using a questionnaire. The data analysis methods used are classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression analysis with coefficient of determination hypothesis tests, partial tests and simultaneous tests. The results of this research are 1) Career Development variables influence Teacher Performance; 2) The Job Satisfaction variable influences Teacher Performance, and; 3) Simultaneously, Career Development and Job Satisfaction influence Teacher Performance by 53.5%.

Abstract

Sejauh ini, peserta didik masih kesulitan dalam menghafal kosa kata bahasa Arab. Peserta didik ramai sendiri, kurangnya konsentrasi belajar serta minimnya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang menarik khususnya pada materi kosa kata bahasa Arab, yang mengakibatkan kemampuan menghafal kosa kata peserta didik rendah. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan media flash card dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal kosa kata bahasa Arab pada siswa MTs Roudhatul Huda. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subyek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII yang berjumlah 26 peserta didik. Terdapat dua siklus pada Pelaksanaan PTK, setiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan (plan), tindakan (act), pengamatan (observe), dan refleksi (reflect). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklusTeknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh selama penelitian, didapat bahwa penggunaan media Flash Card dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal kosa kata bahasa Arab siswa MTs Roudhatul Huda Kotabumi.

Abstract

The large number of students who experience difficulties in understanding reading texts reflects challenges in education that require more attention to the development of reading comprehension skills among students. Therefore, the aim of this research is to describe teachers' efforts to Improve Elementary School Students' Reading Comprehension Ability in Indonesian Language Learning. The research method used is a qualitative method with the type of research used is a case study. The informants in this research were 2 grade 5 (fifth) elementary school teachers and grade 5 (fifth) elementary school students who were selected based on purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation and documentation. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. To ensure the validity of the data, this research uses data triangulation techniques. The study's findings indicate that teachers can assist students in grade 5 in primary school improve their reading comprehension skills by using books to teach additional literacy within the first 10 minutes before learning begins.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of the Make a Match learning model in improving science learning outcomes in symbiosis material for class V students at SDN 1 Banding Agung. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with research subjects being class V students at SDN 1 Banding Agung consisting of 13 male students and 17 female students. The data collection technique used was a post-test in the form of multiple choice questions and essays. The action research procedure consists of two cycles. Each cycle goes through four research stages including planning, action, observation and reflection. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. Based on the research results, the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in the pre-cycle showed a percentage of only 30%, while in the first cycle of action the minimum percentage of completeness of students was 73.3% or an increase of 43.3% from the pre-cycle. In cycle II the actions continued to increase with a minimum percentage of completeness of 100% or an increase of 26.7% from cycle I to cycle II, and an increase of 70% from pre-cycle to cycle II. The learning improvement results obtained in cycle II were in accordance with the researcher's objectives, namely to improve science learning outcomes in symbiosis material for class V students at SDN 1 Banding Agung, Talang Padang sub-district, Tanggamus Regency.
