Abstract

In the context of the tourism and hospitality sector, games can enhance experiences and engagement for tourists, contributing to the sustainability of destination. Conversely, the development of digitalization is perceived as accelerating transformations in games designed to address issues ranging from micro to more multifaceted levels. This paper employs bibliometric analysis to investigate the evolution of games in the tourism sector from 2015 to 2025, comparing growth and citation impact. It identifies emerging research topics through cluster and factorial analysis, revealing thematic clusters and conceptual shifts over the past decade by utilising keyword queries in the Scopus database. The investigation utilised VOSviewer and RStudio (Bibliometrix) to examine publications from 2015 to 2025, including countries, funding institutions, authors, and keywords within the specified domain. The study explains the role of funded organizations in facilitating research production, revealing that European countries continue to dominate both paper production and citations. China has the third rank among Asian countries. The study highlights the significance of games in enhancing capacity building and opportunities within the field of tourism. The findings provide a framework for understanding how games could achieve a strategic position not just in micro-scale simulations but also in addressing sustainable challenges within the tourism sector.

Abstract

The gender makeup of the group and anonymity have a significant impact on small group talks. Business Ethics is one business course that frequently incorporates debate. Anonymity is the state in which meeting attendees are unidentified, hence removing any physical clues, especially in corporate ethics case group discussions. The gender makeup of the group, on the other hand, is crucial to its level of attraction since members of the group tend to associate with people who are similar to them and to be prejudiced against those who are different. This study investigated if anonymity lowers the degree of attraction between groups with varying gender makeup. Participants were divided into six groups for the experiment. There were three groups that communicate in offline classroom settings and three groups that communicated via computer-mediated communication (CMC). In both settings, there were male-only groups, female-only groups, and mixed-gender groups. An actual gender-related case and four discussion questions were used to activate gender identification. Findings suggested that female-only groups members had significantly higher level of group attraction in offline classroom settings than CMC, while there was no significant difference in group attraction between offline and CMC settings in in male-only and mixed-gender groups.

Abstract

This study addresses inventory inefficiencies and financial losses from expired product waste in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Capital constraints often prevent MSMEs from adopting corporate-scale Internet of Things (IoT). We investigate a Frugal IoT approach integrated with digital nudging through a mobile application, "Penjaga Inventaris Digital." A longitudinal field experiment using a pre-test and post-test design was conducted over six months across three Amal Muhammadiyah retail outlets. Statistical testing (Paired Sample T-Test, p=0.002) demonstrated a significant 81.7% reduction in financial losses, dropping from IDR 13.25 million to IDR 2.41 million. Staff mitigation response time averaged 48.5 minutes, indicating excellent operational compliance. In conclusion, combining Frugal IoT with digital nudging effectively mitigates fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) losses, providing strategic managerial implications for capital expenditure efficiency and data-driven retail operations.
