Abstract

Biodiversity material is one of the materials that requires many examples of real objects related to nature. Based on the results of interviews with biology subject teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Mambaul Ulum Megaluh, it is known that students are very enthusiastic when the teacher displays video media as an introduction to learning. However, instructional videos containing material on biodiversity (especially flora) are still not available. Therefore, researchers develop exploration video learning media. The objectives of this study were to: (1) describe the feasibility of exploratory videos of Mount Pundak flora diversity based on the validation of material experts and instructional media experts, (2) describe the attractiveness of the exploration video of Mount Pundak flora diversity based on the responses of students. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model, consisting of 5 stages: Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate. Feasibility is measured using the validity test by material expert validators and media expert validators. In addition, related to the attractiveness of exploration videos, a response test was carried out on 10 students at Madrasah Aliyah Mambaul Ulum Megaluh who had studied biodiversity material by filling out a questionnaire via google form. The results showed that the media for exploring the diversity of flora on Mount Pundak based on the evaluation of the material expert validator obtained a value of 81.67% which means very feasible, the learning media expert validator obtained a score of 88% which means very feasible, and the response of students obtained a value of 89.8. % which means very interesting. This exploration video media needs to be improved based on criticism and suggestions from material expert validators and media experts. The video media for exploring the diversity of the flora of Mount Pundak can be used for classroom learning provided that further development research is carried out and more extensive testing, so that it is obtained that the exploration video media has been tested for validity and is ready to use

Abstract

This research aims to examine the religio-paternalistic leadership style adopted by the kiai (Islamic cleric) in Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) and its relationship with the phenomenon of bullying, which has become increasingly common in several boarding schools recently. Bullying cases in pesantren, particularly those involving physical and psychological violence among students, have raised significant concern due to their high frequency and negative impact on student character development. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design at Al-Muhajirin Ilallah Islamic Boarding School. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews with the kiai, senior and junior students, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the religio-paternalistic leadership style employed by the kiai creates a strong bond between the kiai and the students, grounded in religious values and profound respect for the kiai figure. Although this leadership style successfully fosters student discipline and loyalty, its somewhat authoritarian approach also has the potential to limit student initiative and creativity. Additionally, bullying cases in pesantren are related to the hierarchy of seniority and a lack of effective institutional oversight. In conclusion, the kiai’s religio-paternalistic leadership positively impacts student character and discipline; however, it needs to be complemented with a more inclusive institutional management system to prevent bullying and encourage students' holistic development.

Abstract

Transportasi udara merupakan salah satu pilihan utama masyarakat Indonesia dalam memenuhi kebutuhan mobilitas. Bandar Udara Banyuwangi, yang semakin berkembang dengan peningkatan lalu lintas penerbangan, menghadapi tantangan serius dalam penyediaan layanan navigasi penerbangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi oleh personel Air Traffic Control (ATC) di Bandar Udara Banyuwangi, terutama terkait dengan keterbatasan sumber daya manusia (SDM) dan kinerja keselamatan penerbangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan wawancara mendalam dan observasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Fokus penelitian ini mencakup dua variabel utama, yaitu keterbatasan SDM yang mengarah pada beban kerja berlebih dan potensi kelelahan, serta kinerja keselamatan penerbangan yang terancam akibat kekurangan personel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah personel ATC yang terbatas mengakibatkan pembagian tugas yang tidak proporsional, meningkatkan risiko kesalahan manusia, serta berpotensi menurunkan kualitas layanan dan keselamatan penerbangan. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa meskipun regulasi ketat dari Civil Aviation Safety Regulation (CASR) membatasi jam kerja dan menetapkan waktu istirahat, pemenuhan regulasi ini menjadi sulit karena kekurangan personel. Dengan langkahlangkah tersebut, diharapkan kualitas layanan dan keselamatan penerbangan dapat terjaga dengan baik, meskipun menghadapi keterbatasan operasional yang ada.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of religious understanding of students in mulok diniyah learning. This research uses a quantitative approach method. The type of research used by researchers is pre-experimental research which is carried out using only one class without a comparison class. The subject of this research was class VIII C SMP Negeri 2 Kabuh Jombang. The research instruments used were pretest and posttest and questionnaire results as supporting data. The instrument is a test given twice (pretest and posttest) which contains statements to measure students' religious understanding in learning mulok diniyah before and after learning with flash card media. In addition to the test, there is a questionnaire instrument as supporting data on students' religious understanding. The data analysis technique used is hypothesis testing. However, before testing the hypothesis, the data obtained was first tested for normality. Based on the calculation of the paired sample t test, it shows that the significance value is 0.000. The significance value shows 0.000 < the error rate of 0.05 so it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. Acceptance of Ha means that there is an effect of students' religious understanding with flash card media on mulok diniyah learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh konformitas teman sebaya dan gaya hidup konsumtif terhadap perilaku konsumtif santri di Pondok Pesantren An-Najah Denanyar Jombang. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 115 santri yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan IBM SPSS versi 27.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konformitas teman sebaya berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif santri, di mana santri cenderung mengikuti pola konsumsi kelompoknya. Selain itu, gaya hidup konsumtif juga berkontribusi terhadap kecenderungan santri dalam melakukan konsumsi berlebihan, termasuk untuk barang yang bukan kebutuhan utama. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang perilaku konsumtif di lingkungan pesantren, yang umumnya berorientasi pada nilai kesederhanaan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengelola pesantren untuk menyusun program edukasi finansial yang menanamkan kesadaran konsumsi bijak serta memperkuat nilai-nilai sederhana dalam kehidupan santri.

Abstract

Salak Kunara Processing Center, a food industry in Jombang, focuses on salak processing. The rapid growth of the food and beverage industry demands product innovation and a strong brand image to compete and attract consumers. This study aims to find out how product innovation and brand image affect consumer purchase decisions at the Salak Kunara Processing Center in Kedungrejo Village, Jombang. This study used a quantitative method with a questionnaire distributed to 110 respondents. The data was analyzed with linear regression to test the hypothesis and measure how much influence these variables have. The results show that product innovation and brand image both have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. This shows that sustainable product innovation and a strong brand image are essential to improve the competitiveness of local food products.
