Abstract

In this study, students experienced difficulties in learning mathematics which caused students to get low learning achievement anda the lack of parental involvement in the student learning process, this was due to the working conditions of parents, parents who were busy with work would be less involved in the students learning process.The results showed that there was a significant relationship between parental involvement in learning and mathematics learning achievement for grade IV SD Cluster I with t count (33.8) greater (>) t table (1.66320) which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the involvement of parents in learning can affect students' mathematics learning achievement. So, the better the involvement of parents in student learning, the better the mathematics learning achievement obtained by students. From these conclusions, the impact resulting from this study is known that parental involvement in good student learning will improve students' mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research which aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes on the material of numbers with exponents and root forms through the application of structured assignments. The subjects of this study were grade IX students of SMPN 5 Mallusetasi in the Even Semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year.This research was conducted in two cycles, where in cycle 1 it was conducted with three face-to-face meetings and in one meeting the learning outcomes test was conducted and in cycle 2 consisted of four meetings and one meeting the learning outcomes test was conducted. The research data is sourced from the learning outcomes test 1 and learning outcomes test 2.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the mathematics learning outcomes of class IX students of SMPN 5 Mallusetasi have increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2 after learning by giving structured assignments. The average mathematics learning outcomes of students in the first cycle of 80.2 increased to 84.4 in the second cycle. Classical completeness in the second cycle reached 93%. So it can be concluded that mathematics learning outcomes increase with the method of giving structured assignments.

Abstract

Masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah hubungan antara keterampilan dasar mengajar guru dengan minat siswa kelas tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasi yang bertujuan mengetahui hubungan yang signifikan antara Keterampilan Dasar Mengajar guru dengan minat belajar siswa kelas tinggi. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket. Hasil penelitian terdapat hubungan hubungan yang signifikan antara Keterampilan Dasar Mengajar guru dengan minat belajar siswa kelas tinggi dengan nilai signifikan 0,023 < 0,05 sehingga  diterima dan  ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan semakin baik Keterampilan Dasar Mengajar guru akan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa begitupun sebaliknya semakin rendah Keterampilan Dasar Mengajar guru maka semakin rendah pula minat belajar siswa. Berdasarkan kesimpulan tersebut dampak yang dihasilkan penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa Keterampilan Dasar Mengajar Guru yang baik akan meningkatkan minat belajar siswa

Abstract

The problem in this study is to describe the habit of reading science books for fifth grade students of SD Inpres 6/75 TA, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive method that describes the habit of reading science books for fifth grade students which includes reading time, reading time, reading place, reading position, taking notes or not taking notes on important things from reading, scheduled, reading in a quiet or crowded atmosphere. , summarize the contents of the reading, and use the school library in reading activities. From the results of this study, it can be said that the habit of reading science books for fifth grade students is fairly good. However, there are still some students who do not have a good habit of reading science books from the description of reading habits, such as, not making good use of the library as a place to read and not taking notes on important things from what they read. So there are some students who do not have good reading habits. Keywords: Habits; Read; natural Science

Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research that aims to determine the learning interest of fourth grade students at SDN 13 Biru, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era. Data was collected by means of in-depth interviews. The analysis technique used is data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Students' learning interest can be seen from several descriptors, namely, when sending / depositing assignments, asking / not asking students, facial expressions, having personal cellphones or not, neatness of student books, neatness of student writing, and recording learning material. The results of this study indicate that the learning interest of fourth grade students at SDN 13 Biru, Tanete Riattang District, Bone Regency in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era is already fairly good because students always send or deposit assignments before the deadline, students always ask questions, students are always happy and excited, students have neat books and neat writing that is easy to read and students always take notes on the learning materials given by the teacher.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive quantitative research with correlational type which aims to determine whether there is a positive relationship between learning independence and student motivation at SDN 220 Cinnong, Sibulue District, Bone Regency. The population in this study were all students in grades IV, V and VI of SDN 220 Cinnong, Sibulue District, Bone Regency, which collected 41 students. The sampling technique in this study is non-probability sampling. Then based on the results of inferential statistical analysis obtained t count of 2.1404 and t table with a significance of 5%. of 1.684888 so that t count t table. It can be said that there is a positive relationship between learning independence and student motivation at SDN 220 Cinnong, Sibulue District, Bone Regency.

Abstract

Abstract; The problem in this study is that the role of the school committee in managing school facilities and infrastructure is still not optimal. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research that describes the role of the school committee as a giver of considerations, supporters, controllers and mediators in Elementary School cluster V, Sibulue District, Bone Regency. The subjects in this study were the head of the school committee, the principal, and the teacher. data collection was done by interview method. The results of this study 1) As a giver of consideration, namely preparing a joint work program with the school and providing input in the elimination of facilities and infrastructure. 2) As a supporter, namely providing support in the form of energy, thought and finance, 2) As a controller, namely monitoring the funds that have been allocated for repairing school facilities and checking the condition of facilities and infrastructure, 3) As a mediator, namely conveying public opinion to the school, and as a bridge for funds from students' parents and the community. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the school committee has carried out its role but still needs to be optimized, such as providing encouragement and motivation to parents and the community to provide support in helping to improve the quality of facilities and infrastructure. With the optimal role of the school committee, it is very helpful for schools to improve the quality of school facilities and infrastructure.Keywords: Role; School Committee; Facilities and Infrastructure

Abstract

The problem in this study is the lack of student discipline.  Student discipline does not just arise, but there are parties who play a very important role in children's education, one of which is through parenting applied by parents. This research is a quantitative research with the type of correlational research which aims to determine the relationship between parenting patterns and high grade elementary school students' discipline. The results showed that obtained rx = 0.412 then the relationship between the two variables was classified at the level of relationship in the "medium" category, because it was in the range 0.40 - 0.599 and the tcount value was 3.73 and ttable was 1.67.  It turns out that the value of tcount is greater than the value of ttable, thus it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between parenting patterns and the discipline of high-class students.  So, the better the parenting style applied, the better the student discipline will be.  Based on these conclusions, the impact of this study is known that good parenting will improve student discipline.

Abstract

This type of research is a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research) which aims to determine the improvement of biology science learning outcomes through jigsaw type cooperative learning for class VI students of SD Negeri 219 Mabbiring Bone Regency, on the concept of the human circulatory system. The subjects of this study were the sixth grade students of SD Negeri 219 Mabbiring, Bone Regency. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. Before the first cycle was carried out, preliminary observations were carried out. Each cycle consists of: action planning, action implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection. The implementation of the second cycle is an improvement from the implementation of the first cycle. Data on learning outcomes were analyzed quantitatively, while the results of observations of student activities were analyzed qualitatively. The results showed that the average value of material mastery or student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 5.53 and in the second cycle was 7.55. The results of the observation of student activities also increased. The results of the analysis can be concluded that the application of jigsaw cooperative learning can improve students' science learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is a school action research conducted at SD Inpres 10/73 Welado, Bone Regency. This research aims to improve teacher competence in preparing lesson plans through continuous guidance methods. From the results of the study, it was concluded that (1) Continuous guidance can increase teacher motivation in compiling complete lesson plans. The teacher shows seriousness in understanding and compiling the RPP, especially after receiving guidance on developing/compiling RPP from the researcher. This information was obtained by researchers from observations during interviews and guidance on developing/compiling lesson plans to teachers. (2) Continuous guidance can improve teacher competence in preparing lesson plans. This can be proven from the results of observations which show that there is an increase in teacher competence in preparing lesson plans from cycle to cycle. In the first cycle the average value of the RPP component was 69% and in the second cycle 83%. So, there is an increase of 14% from cycle I.
