Abstract

This study aims to increase the interest in learning of class A students in semester 5 of the 2019/2020 academic year at the PGSD study program at STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja through the implementation of the Google Classroom  assisted demonstration method. The research subjects of class A semester 5 students were 20 people. While the object of this research is student interest in learning by implementing the Google Classroom assisted demonstration method. Data on the results of learning implementation are collected by observation method. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Google Classroom  assisted demonstration method can increase the interest in learning of Class A students in semester 5 of 2019/2020 academic year at the PGSD study program at STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja. This result is evident from the increase in the average of the first cycle of 14.75 to 18.52 in the second cycle. Classical completeness of students also increased from 65% in the first cycle to 95% in the second cycle. Keywords: demonstration method, Google Classroom, interest in learning

Abstract

Civic Education is general and fundamental subject. In elementary school levels, civic education had important aspect for students in terms of establishing personal citizens were able to understand and carry out the right and obligations as Indonesia citizens which are intelligent, skillful, and had a good character. Character education is related with students attitudes and behavior which aimed to build, transform, disseminate and develop the students potential by coordinating hearts, feelings, thoughts and movements in accordance with Pancasila as philosophy of life. The quality of civic education should improve by developing the student characteristic started from planning, processing/implementation, evaluating, and obstacles that will be faced up. During the implementation of civic education as character education, teachers did teaching and learning process which suitable with lesson planned integrated with character. The stages started from pre-activity, main activity, close activity, and selected the learning method which appropriate with the lessons. Evaluation of all learning process is conducted in the end of activity

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in student achievement through class-assisted problem solving methods and to describe student responses related to the application of class-assisted problem solving methods. This research is a classroom action with the research subjects of all third semester students of the Primary School Teacher Education study program at STAH Negeri Mpu Kuturan Singaraja, totaling 34 students. The object of research is student achievement in Elementary School Indonesian Language Subject. The method of analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study are as follows: 1) there is an increase in student achievement from 66% in cycle I to 80% in cycle II, or an increase of 14% is in the good category and 2) the proportion of the average student response to the learning process is 78 , 5% are in the good category.Keywords: Problem Solving, Classroom, Learning Achievement

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes who are below the standard B grade (good ≥ 70), especially in geometry solving problems through the application of Geogebra visual media. This research is a Classroom Action Research which is conducted in two cycles with 18 students of A2 third semester as subjects and an observer. Each cycle includes planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The success of this research if at least 75% of students get a value of ≥ 70. The results show that the minimum standard value of students in the first cycle is 16.67% with an average value of 60.89 and in the second cycle it is 77.78% with an average value is 70.11. The conclusion of this research is that Geogebra visual media can improve mathematics learning outcomes of A2 third Semester students of PGSD STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja Keywords: learning outcomes, GeoGebra, geometry

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of pencak silat single moves through the implementation of contextual teaching and learning. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted in 2 cycles with the design cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation/evaluation and reflection. The research subjects were students of grade VI of SD Negeri 3 Pekutatan. Based on the results of data analysis the percentage of mastery learning outcomes in the first cycle amounted to 81.25% (an increase in cycle II to 93.75%. The average percentage of cycle I and II amounted to 87.5% with a good category, which means mastery learning mastery single pencak silat is said to be complete because it meets the KKM classically that is ≥ 67%. The conclusion is that the learning outcomes of pencak silat single increases through the implementation of contextual teaching and learning. Keywords: contextual teaching and learning, learning outcomes, single pencak silat

Abstract

The development of this era is so rapid that parents are not only intellectually intelligent but also have character to shape the character of their children. Character is learned by children through modeling the family members around them, especially the parents. The behavior of parents will be imitated directly or indirectly then will be studied and imitated by children. Therefore, the importance of the right parenting style to create a child with character is really crucial. There are three parenting styles, namely (1) Authoritarian parenting, in which parents make unilateral rules that must be obeyed by children regardless of whether the child likes it or not. (2) Permissive parenting is giving full freedom to children to do what they like. (3) Authoritative parenting is a parenting pattern that gives children the freedom to do something, but is still under the supervision, control, and guidance of their parents. Of the three parenting styles, authoritative parenting is the ideal parenting style. The application of authoritative parenting has a positive impact on the development of children in the future because children are always trained to make decisions and are ready to accept all the consequences of the decisions taken. Thus the potential of the child can develop optimally, because the child performs all activities according to his will and potential. While parents provide control and guidance when children do negative things that can damage the child's personality.

Abstract

The dynamics of educational transformation has developed rapidly, along with the growing technology. This can happen due to the existence of systems and learning methods that are supported by the technology of the digital world. This development is marked by the determination of the era of globalization (Silfia, 2018). This determination of globalization is marked in the industrial era 5.0. The era of the industrial revolution 5.0 occurred because of the impact of the 4.0 revolution. In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, students are required to think critically, therefore, case-based learning or case-based learning is a method that can be applied to the learning process. Case-based learning itself is a learning technique centered on developing students' potential in analyzing a case and providing problem solving for the case. The solution to solving the case must be relevant to the reflection of everyday life. Abstract

This research is a classroom action research, carried out cycle by cycle until the difficulties found are resolved. The implementation of classroom action research is carried out in the following order (1) planning, (2) action implementation, (3) results, (4) reflection, and (5) planning revision. Pancasila and Citizenship (Civics) education in elementary schools is intended to instill a love for the country, increase the spirit of nationality, and form a national personality that is in accordance with the philosophy, view of life, ideology, and the foundation of the country, namely Pancasila. Civics are education about values whose target is not merely the transfer of knowledge but rather emphasizes the formation of attitudes. One of the appropriate models to use is a role-playing model that can lead to learning experiences, such as the ability to cooperate, be communicative, and interpret an event. Through role playing, students try to explore human relationships by demonstrating and discussing them, so that together students can explore feelings, attitudes, values, and problem solving strategies. Keywords: Quality, Role Playing Models and Citizenship

Abstract

The era of 4.0 industrial revolutions is marked by growing up of information technology or digital technology. The headmaster as a leader must adjust the leadership style according to the demands and changes that occur. Effectively the leadership, if a leader is able to combine situations and conditions with his or her pattern of behavior or leadership style.  In the era of 4.0 industrial revolutions as a leader, the headmaster of elementary schools (elementary schools) must have the ability to use digital technology, in carrying out its duties and functions.  Impact of Covid 19 pandemic is very remarkable, not only affected on one sector of human life, but affected for all sectors, including education; the learning process will be done with daring method. In the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, primary school headmaster are required to have the ability to carry out crisis management, which is based on the respectfully of soul and loyalty realized through empathy.  Keywords: The Leadership, 4.0 industrial revolution, Covid-19

Abstract

Behavior in children can be classified as normal or abnormal behavior. Children's behavior can be said to be normal if the behavior is in accordance with that in society. While children's behavior can be said to be abnormal if the child's behavior has deviated from the prevailing order in the community so that the community directly or indirectly rejects it. Children who are accustomed to observing and even experiencing violence both physically and verbally in the home environment or play, later children will build a framework that is a natural thing and needs to be done. Hurlock (1978: 221) says anger is an expression that is more often expressed in children. The reason is because the stimulation that causes more anger in children, children also know that anger is an effective way to get attention or fulfill their desires. Keywords: School Bullying, Elementary school student
