Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of tolerance values in Islamic Religious Education learning at UPT SD Negeri 03 Lubuk Cuik. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques through the stages: data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of religious tolerance values is carried out in an integrated manner in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. Islamic Religious Education teachers use a contextual approach and discussion methods, case studies, and value reflections to internalize attitudes of respecting differences, empathy, and peaceful coexistence. Material on commendable morals, stories of the prophets, and students' social experiences are used as a means to develop understanding and awareness of the importance of tolerance. The main supporting factors in this implementation are teacher commitment, principal support, and a school environment that is open to diversity. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include time constraints, lack of teacher training on multicultural education, and parents' perceptions that are still less open to differences. The implications of the results of this study indicate that Islamic Religious Education teachers need to continue to be encouraged to use active and contextual learning methods so that the values of tolerance are easier for students to understand and internalize.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how interactions and the role of peers contribute to the formation of sanguine personality among students of the Islamic Guidance and Counseling Study Program at STAI Al Furqan Makassar. The college years are a challenging transitional phase, where social interactions, especially with peers, play a crucial role in character formation and the development of students' social skills. The sanguine personality, characterized by cheerful, expressive, and sociable traits, is considered highly relevant to the demands of the profession as an Islamic counselor. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation involving nine students from the 4th and 6th semesters. The research results show that intensive interaction and emotional support from peers can encourage students to be more open, confident, and communicative. In addition, the role of peers also serves as a stimulus in the formation of positive and adaptive character that supports students' readiness as prospective educators in the community. The main supporting factors come from the social diversity of students, the commitment of teachers and school principals, and the community environment that is open to pluralism. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced include the lack of theoretical understanding among teachers regarding multicultural education, minimal professional training, and low parental involvement. Abstract

Learning in Vocational High Schools aims to produce graduates who are job-ready with skills relevant to their vocational fields. However, there remains a mismatch between graduates' competencies and labor market demands, exacerbated by limited practical facilities and weak synergy between schools and the business and industrial sectors (DUDI). The revitalization program for vocational schools through the link and match approach was launched to address this issue by emphasizing curriculum alignment and intensive collaboration with industry. This study aims to examine the implementation of the link and match program at SMK Negeri 1 Pengasih, Bantul, Yogyakarta. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings indicate that the implementation of link and match at SMK Negeri 1 Pengasih has been systematically carried out through industry-based curriculum alignment, industrial work practice, training for vocational teachers, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with industry partners, and competency-based skill assessments. The program has succeeded in enhancing graduates' competencies and competitiveness, although it faces challenges such as limited internship quotas, differing industry standards, and inadequate practical facilities. Strong collaboration among schools, industries, and the government is essential for success, with recommendations including improved facilities and strengthened partnerships to optimize the program’s effectiveness.
