Abstract

The large number of stunting cases in the TTS area is caused by a lack of food security. Therefore, the development of freshwater fish farming is very important to support food security and prevent fainting in the region. This is because the fishing industry plays an important role in increasing food security; it also reduces stunting in the region. This study used a cross-sectional research design that observed and measured all variables simultaneously. The research results show that Indonesia has an urgent need to explore the untapped potential of fresh water fish food. This is because increasing their food security and improving their nutrition will help them cope with the country's current situation. One way that can be done is to encourage the use of fish farming foods that are well known to the public, especially foods that are popular among TTS residents.

Abstract

Flood disaster is considered a major natural hazard plaguing Lagosains due to its devastating effect on affected communities. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was adopted using Geographical Information System (GIS) to determine areas vulnerable to flood in Lagos for 1984 and 2013. This research considers the contribution of rainfall, elevation, land use, slope and soil to flood. AHP method was applied to these factors by means of ranking and pairwise comparison. This products a relative weight of 34.45% for slope, 19.58% for rainfall, 18.79% for land use, 18.61% for elevation, and 8.57% for soil. The consistency value was found to be reasonable with a consistency index of 0.0738 with a consistency ratio of 7%, these aids in flood vulnerability mapping. This reveals that the impact of flood is high for residential and socio-economic activities in Lagos, thus, this will assist decision makers on the menace posed by the disaster and mitigation measures to adopt.

Abstract

Recently, there have been some significant shifts in teacher education, which has resulted in a reorientation of attention away from transmitting designs and toward alternative models and techniques. These alternative methods and speculations surfaced in the post-transmission period and addressed socially constructed, diplomatic, philosophical, and essential careers. Even though teacher training programs have changed across the board, alternate theories and viewpoints seem to have little to no impact on Iraq's English language teaching (ELT) education agendas. This research examined the issues and difficulties experienced by instructors and educators working in Iraqi academic settings and the relevance of post-transmission viewpoints and theories to that situation. The data were gathered from the opinions and convictions of 8 knowledgeable English instructors, and three teachers were interviewed. The following data collection methods were used: collaborative discussion, reflective narration, and interviews. The data were captured so that new topics relevant to the current educational development in Iraq might be discovered. These topics included barriers, restrictions, and worries in the event of any reform. According to the study's findings, participants believed that educators, instructors, and decision-makers must accept many ideas and techniques to improve what was before and also in English as a foreign language in the Iraqi curriculum for teachers.

Abstract

Childbirth complications are still a big problem in developing countries, especially in Indonesia and are one of the causes of high maternal mortality. This study aims to identify the relationship between self-control and self-efficacy as an indirect cause of maternal death with the incidence of childbirth complications. An analytical descriptive design with a cross sectional method was used. 175 mothers in their maternity phase were selected using the consecutive sampling technique. Self-control was measured using the Labour Agentry Scale (LAS), while self-efficacy was measured using the Childbirth Self-Efficacy Inventory (CBSEI) which had been tested for validity and reliability, and data on the incidence of childbirth complications were obtained from hospital medical records. Univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis with the help of computer software. The results showed that the variables of self-control and self-efficacy had a very significant relationship with  the incidence of childbirth complications (p value 0.000, ?: 0.05). Mothers with poor self-control are at risk of developing complications of childbirth by 9,014 (CI 95%: 0.929 – 87,487) times greater than those with good self-control. Poor self-efficacy is at risk of developing childbirth complications 3,815 (CI 95%: 1,851 – 7,862) times greater than those with good self-efficacy. This study proves that self-control and self-efficacy are variables that influence the existence of labor complications. Antenatal care staff need to prepare mothers from pregnancy and childbirth to have the ability to control themselves and have good self-efficacy  in undergoing the delivery process.

Abstract

Stroke is a disease that has a high mortality and disability rate, stroke sufferers need fast and precise treatment, especially at the golden time where it is the best time to deal with stroke. This study aims to determine the relationship between initial treatment and the extent of neurological damage to stroke patients. The research used quantitative methods with a cross-sectional approach. Meanwhile, sampling was carried out using non-probability sampling techniques, the type of total sampling with independent variables is the initial handling of stroke at home and the dependent variable, namely neurological damage that occurs. The results showed that the initial treatment carried out at home by the family was not related to the neurological damage of stroke patients. The initial treatment of stroke was only related to the stiffness experienced by respondents. Meanwhile, the initial treatment of stroke is not related to feeling bad, visual impairment, dizziness, confusion, balance disturbance, headache, paralysis, loss of taste, impaired field of view, difficulty forming words, unable to speak, impaired perception, impaired orientation, and level of consciousness.

Abstract

Education stakeholders in this nation have paid some attention to the issue of academic dishonesty, but it is insufficient. The nation's residents' psyche is affected by the unfavorable influence sooner or later. This study aims to develop a model that explains how academic integrity is influenced by teacher support, religiosity, and peer support, to improve students' psychological well-being. The data was obtained through a survey of 110 SMAK Bhakti Luhur Malang students and was analyzed using variance-based structural equation modeling, or partial least squares model (PLS-SEM). The preliminary result shows that teacher support, religiosity, and peer support, simultaneously or partially gave a significant effect on the academic integrity (Pr > F = 0.000 <? (? = 0.05). The second evaluation of the structural model shows that teacher support, religiosity, peer support, and academic integrity simultaneously gave a significant effect on the psychological well-being. However, peer support gave no significant effect on the psychological well-being. The conclusion entails that teacher support, religiosity, and peer support play prominent roles in the formation of students' academic integrity which in turn will affect students' psychological well-being.

Abstract

There are many management strategies and interventions both preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative  that can be carried out in dealing with postoperative pain. Guidelines for pain management have been prepared  by the American Pain Society (APS) with recommendations from  the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) where there are many recommendations in postoperative pain management in adults or children by promoting the provision of preoperative education, the use of various modalities both pharmacological and non-pharmacological to the establishment of pain management procedures or policies in each institution. For this reason, the author was interested in examining the comparison of the effectiveness of analgesia between intravenous tramadol and intravenous Paracetamol in minimally invasive Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy (PCNL) postoperative patients at RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang. The research was a prospective study with a single-blind randomised controlled trial design. The data used were sourced from clinical trials conducted on post-PCNL patients divided into two subgroups given intravenous tramadol analgetics and others given Paracetamol tablets. In this study, the incidence of Nephrolithiasis was obtained, which was dominated by the male sex, compared to women and suffered a lot at the age of 41-60 years. There was a significant difference in VAS effectiveness between the use of Paracetamol IV and Tramadol IV in post-PCNL patients. The use of Paracetamol may be considered to replace tramadol in the disappearance of acute pain after PCNL postoperative patients in those patients who are allergic to tramadol.

By using the juridical-empirical research method where legal research through the formulation or application of normative law in a group of people who are in and involved with virtual Youtubers. The most important finding in this study is how the justice system in Indonesia which uses an offender oriented system where the criminal process is more likely to focus on the perpetrator does not provide a restorative justice effect, therefore it is often encountered that victims do not know the full extent of the rights they should have obtained,  this condition makes it limited to law enforcement that is applied but far from being fair to victims.
