Abstract

Pregnancy is often accompanied by significant psychological challenges, including increased risk of depression, anxiety, and stress, which can adversely affect both maternal and fetal outcomes. Non-pharmacological interventions such as Pilates have been proposed as effective strategies to improve mental health during pregnancy. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Pilates in reducing depression, anxiety, and stress among pregnant women. Quality assessment was performed using the Cochrane RoB 2.0 tool and meta-analysis was conducted using RevMan 5.4. This study assessed mental illness symptom including depression, anxiety, and stress to evaluate the effect of pilates over periods of 8 to 12 weeks. A search across seven databases identified five articles for analysis, with five low-risk. The meta-analysis shows that pilates interventions, compared to control or usual care, significantly reduced symptoms of depression (SMD: -2.70; 95% CI: -3.27 to -2.13), anxiety (SMD: -1.19; 95% CI: -1.58 to -0.80), and stress (SMD: -6.62; 95% CI: -8.11 to -5.13), all with p<0.00001. High heterogeneity was observed for each outcome (I²=75–89%). This result suggest that pilates can be good exercise to reduce mental illness in pregnant women. Pilates is an effective, safe, and accessible intervention for reducing depression, anxiety, and stress in pregnant women, with additional physical and obstetric benefits. Future research should focus on standardizing intervention protocols, expanding to more diverse and high-risk populations, and assessing long-term outcomes to further inform clinical practice.

Abstract

Harmonious relations between companies and surrounding communities are the dream of every industry. In reality, however, industries often experience conflicts with surrounding communities. This is due to several factors, namely those related to employment and environmental impacts. A notable social conflict occurred in 2012 when approximately 64 local residents staged a demonstration. To mitigate such conflicts, the company has adopted a community engagement approach through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. This study examines the alignment and implementation of CSR programs in relation to their impact on environmental performance at a bio-manufacturing company located in East Java, Indonesia. To date, the company's CSR programs have incorporated suggestions from the local community. Based on company data, the percentage of social CSR programs is highly dominant at 83.5%, consisting of charity, religious, and natural disaster relief initiatives. This study employs an explanatory quantitative approach to test existing theories or hypotheses, aiming to strengthen or add to previous research findings. While other studies only use the CSR disclosure variable, this study includes the type of CSR variable that influences CSR disclosure and several external influences on environmental performance. The sample size for this study is 300 respondents from the community surrounding the company. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires and analyzed using SEM-PLS software. The results of the study indicate that CSR disclosure, pro-environmental community actions, and environmental NGOs have a positive and significant effect on environmental performance. The suitability of CSR programs for the community is the main factor influencing the value of CSR disclosure satisfaction. This study shows that the appropriate CSR programs for companies are social CSR, health CSR, and environmental CSR.

Abstract

The competitive aviation industry challenges companies like PT AAA, a low-cost carrier in Indonesia, to retain loyal and stable human resources. Recently, PT AAA has faced rising employee turnover, which threatens productivity and organizational effectiveness. Key contributing factors include dissatisfaction with compensation, poor work-life balance, and declining employee well-being. This study aims to examine the influence of compensation, work-life balance, and employee well-being on turnover intention. Using a quantitative approach with 330 respondents comprising ground staff, pilots, and cabin crew data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using SEM-PLS. The findings show that compensation (t = 7.143), work-life balance (t = 5.745), and employee well-being (t = 6.276) each have a significant negative effect on turnover intention (p < 0.05). The model’s R² value is 0.477, indicating that 47.7% of the variance in turnover intention is explained by these three variables. The study concludes that PT AAA should consistently improve its compensation structures, promote better work-life balance, and enhance employee well-being programs to reduce turnover and support sustainable organizational performance.

Abstract

The declining number of library visitors in Indonesia, particularly at the Pamekasan Regency Library and Archives Office, highlights the need for libraries to adapt to the preferences of Generation Z. This study explores the motivational values of Generation Z, based on Schwartz’s theory of 10 motivational values, and their relationship with library interior elements. The research aims to identify how libraries can redesign their spaces to align with the values of stimulation, benevolence, and achievement, thereby attracting more young visitors and enhancing their experience. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) method, the study analyzes relevant literature to understand the intersection between Generation Z’s values and library design. Findings reveal that Generation Z prioritizes innovation, flexibility, and technology-integrated spaces, favoring modern, multifunctional environments that support collaboration and productivity. Examples from the University of Indonesia Library and Surabaya’s Youth Center Public Library demonstrate successful implementations of such designs. The study recommends modular bookshelves, vibrant colors, optimal lighting, and digital infrastructure for the Pamekasan Library to create a more engaging and functional space. These changes can transform libraries into dynamic educational hubs, fostering creativity and increasing visitor numbers. The research underscores the importance of aligning library design with generational preferences to remain relevant in the digital era.

Abstract

Customer trust and loyalty are things that help businesses grow. Factors that influence customer trust and loyalty are evidenced by customer satisfaction with the services provided by the company. Companies observe Customer Relationship Management (CRM) not only to increase company revenue, but also believe that Customer Relationship Management (CRM) should be at the heart of all business strategies. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is used by companies to understand customers and aspects that affect customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to determine how much influence the moderating role, namely customer trust with the customer relationship management (CRM) component and its relationship with customer loyalty at PLN UP3 Kupang. This research applies quantitative methods with a causal approach. A total of 300 respondents who are potential customers or the B2B segment of PLN UP3 Kupang were sampled. The data obtained were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method to evaluate the relationship between variables and test the mediation and moderation effects in the conceptual model developed. The results showed that of the five components of Customer Relationship Management which include customer knowledge, customer orientation, customer advocacy, customer engagement, and technological capability, only three variables were proven to have a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty. The three variables are customer knowledge, customer advocacy, and customer trust.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of interpersonal communication strategies between superiors and subordinates in the operational context of PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA) Jobsite IPR. The main focus is directed at how communication interactions shape work relationships and influence the process of achieving production targets. Using a qualitative descriptive approach and case study method, this study explores the experiences, perceptions, and communication practices that occur in the field. The findings indicate that open, empathetic, and trust-based communication is an important foundation in building work synergy. However, there are a number of communication barriers that arise, such as differences in perception, incongruent communication styles, and limited time and space for interaction, technical disruptions caused by disrupted radio or internet signals, which ultimately pose real challenges in accelerating work, errors in execution, and ultimately disrupt work productivity. This study recommends the need to strengthen interpersonal communication capacity through training and continuous evaluation of internal communication systems.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital media has transformed how news is consumed, with Instagram emerging as a key platform for information dissemination. However, many news accounts, including @tvonenews, struggle with low audience engagement due to ineffective content strategies. This study examines how AISAS (Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share)-based content writing strategies can enhance engagement on Instagram news accounts. This study aims to analyze the content writing strategy on the Instagram account @tvonenews in increasing audience engagement through the AISAS (Attention, Interest, Search, Action, Share) model approach. The method used is qualitative descriptive, employing observation techniques, literature studies, and interviews. The results show that the use of catchy headlines, informative and persuasive captions, and the integration of call-to-action (CTA) and relevant hashtags significantly increases engagement rates. Content that has been intervened shows an increase in the number of likes, comments, shares, and saves compared to before. The application of the AISAS model has proven effective in shaping two-way engagement with audiences and strengthening media imagery in the digital age. This research provides practical contributions for media institutions in designing content that is more communicative and responsive to information consumption behavior on social media.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus tipe II is a chronic disease characterized by high blood glucose levels due to insulin resistance or insufficient insulin production. This study aims to determine behavioral determinants related to blood glucose levels in diabetes mellitus tipe II patients. This research used a cross-sectional survey analytic design with 83 diabetes mellitus tipe II patients as respondents in the working area of Banjar Baru Health Center, Tulang Bawang Regency. Data were collected through questionnaires and blood glucose measurements. Data analysis used univariate, bivariate (chi-square), and multivariate (logistic regression) analyses. The results showed that 55.4% of patients had abnormal blood glucose levels (>200 mg/dl). Bivariate analysis revealed significant relationships between knowledge (p=0.005; OR=4.34), attitude (p=0.000; OR=9.717), age (p=0.009; OR=4.545), abdominal obesity (p=0.000; OR=5.143), physical activity (p=0.000; OR=5.903), and dietary patterns (p=0.000; OR=9.72) with blood glucose levels. Multivariate analysis showed that dietary patterns were the most dominant factor (p=0.020; OR=10.946) after controlling for attitude, obesity, and physical activity variables. Diabetes mellitus tipe II patients with irregular dietary patterns have a 10.946 times higher risk of experiencing elevated blood glucose levels compared to those with regular dietary patterns.

Abstract

Inventory control in utility companies is crucial due to its potential to improve the achievement of sales revenue ratios in serving New Connection (PB) and Power Change (PD) requests. In inventory management, accurate demand planning is essential to minimize both excess and shortage of materials. The inaccuracy in calculating inventory parameters for Distribution Main Materials (MDU), especially for PB and PD, is primarily due to the lack of consideration for demand uncertainty, often resulting in stockouts or overstock. This study aims to optimize inventory management and minimize MDU inventory costs based on the company's inventory policy by classifying MDU according to criticality levels ABA, ABB, and ABC. Short-term forecasting is conducted using exponential smoothing or double exponential smoothing, selecting the method with the smallest forecasting error. Inventory parameters are calculated using the Continuous Review (s,S) and Periodic Review (R,s,S) methods, compared against the company's current condition, and the most optimal policy is selected under stochastic demand conditions. After selecting the best parameters among the three policies, total inventory cost and Service Level per MDU are calculated using Material Requirement Planning (MRP) simulation. By applying inventory policy parameters using the Periodic Review method (R,s,S), the total inventory cost and Service Level for each MDU classification (ABA, ABB, ABC) vary, with an average inventory cost of IDR 76 billion for ABA, IDR 3.6 billion for ABB, and IDR 844 million for ABC, and a Service Level of 98%. This allows the company to achieve inventory cost savings of up to 70% within 36 months compared to the current condition.

Abstract

This study examines the socio-cultural significance of Kain Tenun Tais within the Bunaq ethnic group of West Timor, Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach supported by descriptive statistics from a survey of 40 randomly selected respondents knowledgeable about the weaving tradition, the research explores the historical and contemporary roles of Kain Tenun Tais in Bunaq society. Findings reveal that the woven cloth serves as both a symbol of ethnic identity and a medium for preserving traditional knowledge, particularly through the oral narratives known as Tei Gugul Hiliq, which guide the creation of motifs and patterns. The designs, colors, and thread arrangements function as markers of social status, lineage, and gender, with certain motifs reserved for individuals of noble descent or specific ceremonial roles. The weaving process reflects a balanced gender partnership, where women are responsible for weaving while men contribute by preparing threads, constructing looms, and participating in ceremonies. Overall, Kain Tenun Tais functions as a living cultural artifact that embodies historical continuity, spiritual beliefs, and the social structure of the Bunaq community, ensuring the intergenerational transmission of identity and values.
