The data analysis used in this study used descriptive analysis and comparative test models. The comparison test was performed using t-paired samples and Wilcoxon tests with the help of the program of the view. The results showed that although there were differences in the financial ratios of transportation companies before and during the Covid-19 pandemic, the results of the comparison test showed that there were no significant differences in the company's current ratio (liquidity ratio), solvency ratio (Solvability ratio), and profitability ratio (profitability ratio) before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. For the activity ratio, there is a significant difference in the ratio of receivable turnover (RTO) and asset turn ver (ATO), while fixed asset turnover (FATO) and working capital turnover (WCTO) show no significant difference.

In this study using regression methods and individual tests (t-tests). The results of this study show that cash ownership does not have a significant relationship with company performance. For future research, it is recommended to add variables that can support ROA and ROE that are not contained in this study and use a larger sample of data.

Abstract

Good cost performance will result in profit margins for the company, but on the contrary, poor cost performance will certainly result in cost overruns. And this is often and even always the case with every project, both in construction projects and office building projects. Several factors can influence the decline in cost performance so that there is a cost overrun, such as design changes, material availability, work improvements, poor labor relations, incomplete project documents, increase in material prices, labor, equipment, project finances, and project implementation time. With the various causes of decreased cost performance, this research will limit the analysis of factors such as changes in design, material availability and labor productivity, which are indeed very frequent in construction projects, especially in office building projects. Office building projects are not as large as high-rise construction projects or other civil projects, but in terms of the complexity of detailed types of work, it is often a boomerang for cost overruns. This study used a statistical analysis approach using an SPSS device based on questionnaire data for implementing contractors in Jakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the structure conduct performance in the skipjack fish industry in Banda Aceh City, Analyze the influence of structure conduct performance in the skipjack fish industry in Banda Aceh city, and analyze the factors that affect the performance of the skipjack fish industry in Banda Aceh city. The number of samples is 4 companies that manage Skipjack Fish in Banda Aceh City. The market structure of the skipjack fish industry in Banda Aceh is oligopoly as seen from the value of market concentration and barriers to entry from 2011 to 2020. During this time span, the structure of the skipjack fish industry also showed market concentration and barriers to entry that were getting lower in value from year to year. This shows that competition in the skipjack fish industry is increasing. The skipjack fish industry in Banda Aceh sets a price strategy by following price rules made by outside parties such as the United States importing countries, for product strategies are carried out by classifying products based on the size and type of product treatment such as fresh skipjack fish and frozen skipjack fish. In the performance dimension, it was found that the average value of PCM for the 2011-2020 period was 33.88 percent with the largest PCM value occurring in 2018 at 44.33 percent and the lowest PCM in 2014 at 19.07 percent. Meanwhile, the average value on x-eff for the 2011-2020 period was 102.93 percent. The largest amount of internal efficiency occurred in 2019 at 147.99 percent, and the smallest x-eff value occurred in 2017 at 71.42 percent. The independent variables that are considered to affect the dependent variable (PCM) are CR4, MES, X-eff, PROD, and JLP. However, only x-eff and PROD have a significant effect on PCM. The rest such as CR4, MES, and JLP have an intangible effect because the value is greater than the real level of 0.05.

Abstract

This paper deals with the Hadhrami diaspora in Singapore as a case study of how in contemporary events the Hadhrami diaspora has helped sustain the relationship with the motherland. What makes the study of Singapore Hadhramis interesting is that this is a community that has been in Singapore for over two centuries The other interesting aspect is that most families have migrated to Singapore via Indonesia and to a large extent consider themselves as Arab Jawa/Arab Indon. They have maintained close ties with Indonesia; in a sense Indonesia is the second motherland. The other element is that most migrated to Singapore with wealth made elsewhere; mainly from Indonesia. The fourth element is Singapore is a rich and developed country and most of the community do not harbour thoughts of returning to motherland but at same time are not severing ties. The last and most interesting element is that the majority of Singapore Hadhramis do not speak Arabic and have never visited Hadramaut. All these elements could have contributed to the Singapore Hadhrami community not maintain links with motherland. However strong bonds exist and continue. The pioneers, understandably, never forgot their motherland. They created numerous wakafs for Hadramaut.
