Abstract

Academic anxiety is an impulse of thoughts and inner feelings that contain tension and fear, which results in disruption of thought patterns, physical responses, and behavior as a result of pressure in academic situations. Academic anxiety felt by students can affect their achievement index. One of the therapies that can be used to reduce academic tension is coloring art therapy, which can reduce anxiety levels and improve individual coping mechanisms. Objective of this research to heal the effect of coloring art therapy on the academic anxiety of final-year students of the Department of Midwifery, Poltekkes, Ministry of Health, Yogyakarta. This research is a pre-experimental design with a one-group pre-post-test design. Sampling technique with purposive sampling The sample used was the final-year students of the Midwifery Department, totaling 76 respondents. Statistical test using the Wilcoxon signed rank test. This study showed that 11% of students experienced mild anxiety, 68% experienced moderate anxiety, and 21% experienced severe anxiety based on the results of the pre-test scores. After coloring art therapy using the media "Guidance Book: Coping with Art," based on the results of the post-test, as many as 50% of respondents experienced mild anxiety, 46% of students experienced moderate anxiety, and 4% experienced severe anxiety. Statistical test results show the value of Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) or p.value 0.000 (P  0.05). Coloring art therapy has an effect on academic anxiety in final-year students of the Midwifery Department of the Yogyakarta Ministry of Health Polytechnic.   Kecemasan akademik adalah dorongan pikiran, perasaan dalam diri yang berisikan ketegangan dan ketakutan yang mengakibatkan terganggunya pola pemikiran, respon fisik serta perilaku sebagai hasil tekanan dalam situasi akademis. Kecemasan akademik yang dirasakan mahasiswa dapat mempengaruhi indeks prestasi setiap mahasiswa. Salah satu terapi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi kecemasan akademik adalah terapi seni mewarnai yang dapat menurunkan tingkat kecemasan dan meningkatkan mekanisme koping individu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk diketahuinya pengaruh terapi seni mewarnai terhadap kecemasan akademik mahasiswa tingkat akhir Jurusan Kebidanan Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-experimental designs dengan one-group pre-post test design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan merupakan mahasiswa tingkat akhir Jurusan Kebidanan berjumlah 76 responden. Uji statistik menggunakan Wilcoxon signed ranks test.  Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 11% mahasiswa mengalami kecemasan ringan, 68% mahasiswa yang mengalami kecemasan sedang dan 21% mahasiswa mengalami kecemasan berat dari hasil nilai pre-test. Setelah dilakukan terapi seni mewarnai menggunakan media “Guidance Book: Coping with Art” berdasarkan hasil post-test sebanyak 50% responden mengalami kecemasan ringan, 46% mahasiwa mengalami kecemasan sedang dan 4% mengalami kecemasan berat. Hasil uji statistik menunjukan nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) atau p.value 0,000 (P < 0,05). Terapi seni mewarnai berpengaruh terhadap kecemasan akademik pada mahasiswa tingkat akhir Jurusan Kebidanan Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Final-year students are required to complete a thesis, which can cause students to be prone to experiencing anxiety. One of the non-pharmacological therapies to overcome anxiety is green color therapy. Green color therapy will increase levels of the hormones serotonin and oxytocin and decrease the hormone norepinephrine, which will increase mood and happiness, so that anxiety when writing a thesis will decrease. To find out the differences in changes in anxiety levels in students when compiling their thesis with a green color therapy intervention compared to deep breathing relaxation therapy at the Nursing Department of the Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a pre and post-test control group design. The number of respondents was 44, who were selected by total sampling. The number of samples in the intervention group was 22 respondents, and the comparison group had 22 respondents. The research instrument used was an anxiety scale questionnaire. Data analysis used a paired t-test and an independent t-test with a significant level of p<0.05. There were significant differences in anxiety levels in the intervention group and the comparison group before being given treatment (p value = 0.00) and after being given treatment (p value = 0.035). Green color therapy is more effective in reducing the anxiety level of students who are preparing their thesis than deep breathing relaxation therapy.   Mahasiswa tingkat akhir dituntut untuk menyelesaikan skripsi yang mana dapat menyebabkan mahasiswa rentan mengalami kecemasan. Salah satu terapi non farmakologis untuk mengatasi kecemasan adalah terapi warna hijau. Terapi warna hijau akan meningkatkan kadar hormon serotonin, oksitosin serta penurunan hormon norepinephrine yang akan meningkatkan suasana hati dan rasa bahagia sehingga kecemasan saat menyusun skripsi akan menurun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan perubahan tingkat kecemasan pada mahasiswa saat menyusun skripsi dengan intervensi terapi warna hijau dibandingkan terapi relaksasi napas dalam di Jurusan Keperawatan Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian quasy eksperiment dengan Pre and posttest control group design. Jumlah responden sebanyak 44 yang dipilih dengan total sampling. Jumlah sampel kelompok intervensi 22 responden dan kelompok pembanding 22 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner skala kecemasan. Analisa data menggunakan uji paired t-test dan uji independent t-test dengan taraf signifikan p<0,05. Hasil penelitian diketahui terdapat perbedaan tingkat kecemasan yang signifikan pada kelompok intervensi dan kelompok pembanding sebelum diberikan perlakuan (p value=0,00) dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan (p value =0,035). Terapi warna hijau lebih efektif untuk menurunkan tingkat kecemasan mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi dibandingkan terapi relaksasi napas dalam.

Abstract

An earthquake is defined as an event in which energy is released from the earth's interior, characterized by the rupture of rock layers in the earth's crust. Earthquakes rank third after tsunamis and landslides with a prevalence rate of 16%. Lack of awareness about disaster preparedness knowledge is one of the factors that cause many victims of earthquakes, especially in children who are included in vulnerable groups. There are many media used in delivering messages, including animated video media and poster media. This study aims to determine the effect of providing disaster safety education with animated video media on the level of knowledge of earthquake disaster preparedness at SD N 1 Kadipiro. Type of research quasi experimental design with pretest and posttest control group design pattern. This research was conducted in February-April 2023. The research subjects were 106 students consisting of IV and V classes. Hypothesis testing was analyzed using Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney. There is an effect of providing disaster safety education with animated videos. There is a difference in knowledge between pretest and posttest both on animated video media) and poster media (p value = 0.000). There is a significant difference from the provision of disaster safety education as evidenced by the average difference in knowledge between the intervention group and the control group obtained Sig (p value) which is 0.000 (p value <0.05). The conclusion of this research is animated video media can have a significant effect on increasing student knowledge about earthquake disaster preparedness.   Gempa bumi didefinisikan sebagai suatu peristiwa di mana energi dilepaskan dari bagian dalam bumi yang ditandai dengan pecahnya lapisan batuan di kerak bumi. Gempa bumi menduduki urutan ketiga setelah tsunami dan longsor dengan tingkat prevalensi 16%. Kurangnya kesadaran tentang pengetahuan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab banyaknya korban akibat gempa bumi, khususnya pada anak-anak dimana termasuk dalam kelompok rentan. Media yang digunakan dalam menyampaikan pesan ada banyak, antara lain media video animasi dan media poster. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pendidikan aman bencana dengan media video animasi terhadap tingkat pengetahuan kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa bumi di SD N 1 Kadipiro. Jenis penelitian quasi experimental design dengan pola pretest and posttest control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Februari-April 2023. Subjek penelitian adalah 106 siswa terdiri dari kelas IV dan V. Uji hipotesis dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon dan Mann Whitney. Ada pengaruh dari pemberian pendidikan aman bencana dengan video animasi. Ada perbedaan pengetahuan antara pretest dan posttest baik pada media video animasi) maupun media poster (p value = 0,000). Ada perbedaan yang bermakna dari pemberian pendidikan aman bencana dibuktikkan dengan selisih rata-rata pengetahuan antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol didapatkan Sig (p value) yaitu 0,000 (p value <0,05). Kesipulan dari penelitian adalah media video animasi dapat memberikan pengaruh yang bermakna terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan siswa mengenai kesiapsiagaan bencana gempa bumi.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is one of the diseases that can be life threatening. Diabetes mellitus can cause the body difficulty in controlling blood sugar levels and even can cause the body's organs to not effectively use insulin. One of the standard non-pharmacological therapies to alleviate the problem is hydrotherapy of drinking water. The purpose of this study was to find out the hydrotherapy effect on drinking water on reducing momentary blood sugar levels in people with diabetes mellitus in the working area of Kalasan Health Center. This research is a quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test control group design. This research was conducted in February - March 2023 in the working area of Kalasan Health Center. The total sample was 58 respondents with type 2 diabetes mellitus according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the respondents were divided into the intervension groups 29 and the control groups 29. The data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test and Mann – Whitney test. The results of data processing using the Wilcoxon test in the intervention group obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05), while in the control group obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05). In addition, the results of data processing in the Mann – Whitney test obtained p = 0.002 (p <0.05). The test result show that there is a hydrotherapy effect on drinking water on reducing momentary blood sugar levels in people with diabetes mellitus in the working area of Kalasan Health Center.   Penyakit diabetes mellitus merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang dapat mengancam nyawa. Penyakit diabetes mellitus dapat mengakibatkan tubuh kesulitan dalam mengendalikan kadar gula darah bahkan dapat menyebabkan organ tubuh tidak dapat menggunakan insulin secara efektif. Salah satu standar terapi nonfarmakologi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah hidroterapi minum air putih. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh hidroterapi minum air putih terhadap penurunan kadar gula darah sesaat pada penyandang diabetes mellitus di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kalasan. Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimental semu (quasi eksperimen) with pretest and posttest control group design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari – Maret 2023. Jumlah sampel 58 responden penyandang diabetes mellitus tipe 2 sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi, responden terbagi dalam kelompok intervensi 29 dan kelompok kontrol 29. Analisa data menggunakan uji Wilcoxondan uji Mann – Whitney. Hasil olah data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon pada kelompok intervensi diperoleh p=0,000 (p < 0,05), sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol diperoleh p=0,000 (p < 0,05). Selain itu, hasil olah data pada uji Mann – Whitney didapatkan p=0,002 (p < 0,05). Hasil uji tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh hidroterapi minum air putih terhadap penurunan kadar gula darah sesaat pada penyandang diabetes mellitus di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kalasan.

Abstract

SBMPTN is a joint selection to enter state universities. Intense competition between participants can trigger student anxiety. Excessive anxiety can affect the escape of the participants. The treatment given was in the form of instrumental music therapy. Music is therapeutic, which means it can heal. Instrumental music therapy can provide a sense of relaxation and comfort for listeners. It is known that the effect of giving instrumental music therapy on student’s anxiety in facing state university entrance exams. The research subjects were 110 students consisting of science and social studies majors. The research instrument used the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 42 (DASS-42). Hypothesis testing was analyzed using Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney. There are differences in anxiety between pretest and posttest on instrumental music therapy (p value = 0.000) and leaflets (p value = 0.000). There was a significant difference in the treatment of instrumental music therapy as evidenced by the difference in the mean anxiety between the intervention group and the control group, which obtained a Sig (p value) of 0.000 (p value <0.05). Providing instrumental music therapy can have a significant effect on reducing student anxiety in facing state university entrance exams.   SBMPTN merupakan seleksi bersama masuk perguruan tinggi negeri. Persaingan ketat antar peserta dapat memicu kecemasan siswa. Kecemasan berlebih dapat memengaruhi kelolosan para pesertanya. Perlakuan yang diberikan berupa terapi musik instrumental. Musik bersifat terapeutik yang artinya bisa menyembuhkan. Terapi musik instrumental dapat memberikan rasa rileks dan nyaman bagi pendengarnya. Penelitian ini berjenis quasi experimental design dengan rancangan pretest and posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 110 siswa terdiri dari jurusan IPA dan IPS. Instrumen penelitian penggunakan Depression Anxiety Stress Scale 42 (DASS-42). Uji hipotesis dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon dan Mann Whitney. Terdapat perbedaan kecemasan antara pretest dan posttest pada terapi musik instrumental (p value = 0.000) dan leaflet (p value  = 0.000). Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari perlakuan terapi musik instrumental dibuktikan dengan selisih mean kecemasan antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol didapatkan Sig (p value) yakni 0.000 (p value<0.05). Pemberian terapi musik instrumental dapat memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penurunan kecemasan siswa dalam menghadapi ujian masuk perguruan tinggi negeri.

Abstract

In 2018 there was an increase in the incidence of infectious diseases such as diarrhea from 4.5% to 6.8%. This is because the behavior of washing hands is still minimally practiced by the community, especially children. Around 400 million children in developing countries are infected with intestinal worms due to lack of knowledge and skills on how to wash their hands properly. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the 6-step hand washing video on hand washing skills in preschool children at Pertiwi Kindergarten Keputran Kemalang. This type of research is quantitative research using a design with "One Group Pre-Post Test Design". The number of respondents in this study were 42 people who were taken using the total sampling technique. The instrument in this study used an observation sheet about hand washing. The results of this study are the effects of using the 6-step hand washing video on hand washing skills in preschool children at Pertiwi Keputran Kemalang Kindergarten.   Pada tahun 2018 terjadi peningkatan kejadian penyakit menular seperti diare dari 4,5% menjadi 6,8%. Hal ini dikarenakan perilaku cuci tangan masih minim dilakukan oleh masyarakat terutama anak-anak. Sekitar 400 juta anak di berbagai negara berkembang terjangkit cacingan disebabkan kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan cara mencuci tangan yang benar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan video cuci tangan 6 langkah terhadap keterampilan mencuci tangan pada anak prasekolah di tk pertiwi keputran kemalang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain dengan “one group pre-post test design”. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 42 orang yang diambil dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi tentang cuci tangan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh penggunaan video cuci tangan 6 langkah terhadap keterampilan mencuci tangan pada anak prasekolah di tk pertiwi keputran kemalang.

Abstract

Assistance for cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest must be carried out immediately without waiting for medical personnel, the way is by  giving Basic Life Support (BLS). Education about BLS is a way to increase knowledge. Deaf people need access as needed to support increased knowledge about BLS. Purpose of reserch is to determine the effect of the use of sign language-based basic life support video media on the level of BLS knowledge of the deaf at the Darul 'Ashom Islamic Boarding School. This research is a quasi experiment using a one group pre test – post test design. This research was conducted in March - April 2023. The population for this research study were students of the Darul 'Ashom Islamic Boarding School aged 15-22 years with a total of 20 students. Data analysis using paired t-test. The average score of BLS knowledge before giving sign-based video media was 54, while the average score of BLS  knowledge after giving sign-based video media was 76. The results showed that there was an effect of using sign language-based basic life support video media on the level of BHD knowledge in deaf at the Darul 'Ashom Islamic Boarding School. (p=0.000). There is an effect of the use of sign language-based basic life support video media on the level of BLS knowledge of the deaf at the Darul 'Ashom Islamic Boarding School.   Pertolongan henti jantung dan henti napas harus segera dilakukan tanpa menunggu tenaga medis yaitu dengan memberikan Bantuan Hidup Dasar (BHD).  Pendidikan tentang BHD merupakan cara untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan. Tunarungu membutuhkan akses ramah tunarungu untuk mendukung peningkatan pengetahuan tentang BHD. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media video bantuan hidup dasar berbasis bahasa isyarat terhadap tingkat pengetahuan BHD pada tunarungu di Pondok Pesantren Darul ‘Ashom. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan one group pre test – post test. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret – April 2023. Populasi studi penelitian ini adalah santri Pondok Pesantren Darul ‘Ashom usia 15-22 tahun dengan jumlah 20 santri. Analisis data menggunakan paired t-test. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah rata-rata skor pengetahuan BHD sebelum pemberian media video berbasis isyarat adalah 54, sedangkan rata-rata skor pengetahuan BHD setelah pemberian media video berbasis isyarat adalah 76. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh penggunaan media video bantuan hidup dasar berbasis bahasa isyarat terhadap tingkat pengetahuan BHD pada tunarungu di Pondok Pesantren Darul ‘Ashom. (p=0.000). Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media video bantuan hidup dasar berbasis bahasa isyarat terhadap tingkat pengetahuan BHD pada tunarungu di Pondok Pesantren Darul ‘Ashom.

Abstract

School students frequently experience emergency situations due to accidents, such as fainting, poisoning, bleeding, fractures, and sudden animal bites/stings. Students, teachers, or educational staff often encounter these issues at school. When faced with such an emergency situation, most of them can only panic, unable to do much in providing first aid, leaving the victim lying there and at risk of losing their life without any rescue actions, even just standing by and becoming spectators to the critically ill person who is dying.This study wants to find out what eleventh-grade students at Miftahul Ulum Anggana Private Madrasah Aliyah knew before and after getting first aid training for accidents. It will do this by using a pre-experimental method, a one-group pretest-posttest design, and the Wilcoxon test and the dependent T-test. The results indicate a significant effect (?<0.05) of the first aid training for accidents on the knowledge of eleventh-grade students at Miftahul Ulum Anggana Private Madrasah Aliyah.

Abstract

Spinal anaesthetic needle prick pain is an unpleasant experience that results in losses from spinal anaesthesia, so it needs to be treated. Deep breathing relaxation techniques and lavender aromatherapy are effective non-pharmacological pain management methods. In addition to increasing comfort, reducing pain can also provide convenience and speed in the process of injecting spinal anesthetic needles. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of deep breathing relaxation techniques and lavender aromatherapy on the pain intensity of spinal anaesthetic needle pricks at Kardinah Hospital, Tegal. This study employed a quasi-experiment research method, utilizing a two-group post-test design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total of 72 respondents who were divided into groups of deep breathing relaxation techniques and lavender aromatherapy. Data analysis used the Mann-Whitney The results of the non-parametric statistical test with the Man Whitney test obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05), so Ha was accepted, meaning that there was a difference in the pain intensity of spinal needle stick anesthesia given deep breathing relaxation techniques and lavender aromatherapy. rapy. Abstract

Stunting is caused by the problem of lack of nutrition for a long time due to feeding to meet the growth and development needs of toddlers who are not exclusively breastfed for 6 months from the first birth so that their nutrition is not fulfilled. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of stunting in toddlers. The research method we use here is a literature review using electronic databases through international and national journals such as Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Pro-Quest, with the keywords exclusive breastfeeding and stunting in toddlers. An initial literature search found 33 articles (Google Scholar 14, Portal Garuda 8, Science Direct 6, Pro-Quest 5,). The 14 articles issued were out of sync with the topic of discussion, namely the effectiveness of exclusive breastfeeding with the incidence of stunting in toddlers and 19 full text articles that met the criteria. Conclusion : Exclusive breastfeeding is an effective way to prevent stunting in toddlers. This method can significantly prevent stunting so that exclusive breastfeeding for toddlers for the first 6 months after birth can help toddlers grow and develop.
