Abstract

Ship movement activities in busy port areas have the potential to generate abnormal movement patterns that may disrupt maritime security and operational efficiency. The main problem addressed in this program is the need for an early detection system capable of identifying vessel movement anomalies quickly and accurately. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to develop an anomaly detection model for ship movements at Tanjung Priok Port using the Isolation Forest and One Class Support Vector Machine (OC-SVM) methods. The novelty of this program lies in the integration of these two methods into a maritime traffic data-based anomaly detection system developed collaboratively with the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla RI) to support smarter and more adaptive maritime surveillance. The implementation method consisted of ship movement data collection, data preprocessing, machine learning model development, system testing, and dissemination of results to the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla RI) as the partner institution. The results showed that the developed model was able to identify abnormal ship movement patterns, such as sudden direction changes, unusual speed, and movement outside designated shipping lanes. The resulting system provided faster data visualization and anomaly information, thereby supporting more effective and efficient maritime surveillance processes. This activity also created opportunities for broader implementation across Indonesian waters. ABSTRAKAktivitas pergerakan kapal di kawasan pelabuhan yang padat memiliki potensi terjadinya pola pergerakan tidak normal yang dapat mengganggu keamanan dan kelancaran operasional maritim. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah kebutuhan akan sistem deteksi dini yang mampu mengidentifikasi anomali pergerakan kapal secara cepat dan akurat. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan mengembangkan model deteksi anomali pergerakan kapal di Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok menggunakan metode Isolation Forest dan One Class Support Vector Machine (OC-SVM). Kebaruan kegiatan ini terletak pada penerapan dan integrasi kedua metode tersebut dalam sistem deteksi anomali berbasis data pelayaran yang dikembangkan bersama Bakamla RI untuk mendukung pengawasan maritim secara lebih cerdas dan adaptif. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui tahapan pengumpulan data pergerakan kapal, praproses data, pemodelan menggunakan algoritma machine learning, pengujian sistem, serta sosialisasi hasil kepada mitra Badan Keamanan Laut Republik Indonesia (Bakamla RI). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa model yang dikembangkan mampu mengidentifikasi pola pergerakan kapal yang menyimpang dari rute normal, seperti perubahan arah mendadak, kecepatan tidak wajar, dan pergerakan di luar jalur pelayaran. Sistem yang dihasilkan memberikan visualisasi data dan informasi anomali secara lebih cepat sehingga mendukung proses pengawasan maritim yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Kegiatan ini juga membuka peluang implementasi sistem pada wilayah perairan Indonesia secara lebih luas.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen pastors’ capacity in developing healthy and contextual church growth in Supiori Regency. The program was grounded in the strategic role of the church within Supiori’s socio-religious structure, as indicated by the presence of 71 Protestant churches and 1 Catholic church out of 73 recorded houses of worship. This condition demonstrates that the church functions not only as a place of worship but also as a key institution for faith formation, value education, community strengthening, and socio-spiritual development. However, the significant number of churches does not automatically indicate healthy church growth, particularly in relation to discipleship, leadership regeneration, congregational empowerment, pastoral leadership, and the relevance of ministry to local needs. The program employed educational, participatory, and contextual approaches through material presentation, focused discussion, ministry reflection, experiential dialogue, and the identification of practical church-related issues. The results show that the activity strengthened pastors’ understanding of church growth as a multidimensional process involving spiritual health, leadership, organization, ministry effectiveness, discipleship, and social impact. The program also encouraged pastors to critically reflect on ministry practices that remain overly dependent on pastoral figures and to move toward more participatory, collaborative, and sustainable ministry models. Therefore, this community service activity contributes to strengthening local church leadership as part of the socio-spiritual development of Supiori society. ABSTRAKKegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas pendeta dalam membangun pertumbuhan gereja yang sehat dan kontekstual di Kabupaten Supiori. Latar kegiatan ini berangkat dari kuatnya posisi gereja dalam struktur sosial-keagamaan masyarakat Supiori, yang ditandai dengan keberadaan 71 gereja Protestan dan 1 gereja Katolik dari 73 rumah ibadah yang tercatat. Jumlah tersebut menunjukkan bahwa gereja memiliki peran strategis dalam pembinaan iman, pendidikan nilai, penguatan komunitas, dan pembangunan sosial-spiritual masyarakat. Namun, besarnya jumlah gereja belum selalu sejalan dengan kualitas pertumbuhan gereja, terutama dalam aspek pemuridan, kaderisasi pelayan, pemberdayaan jemaat, kepemimpinan pastoral, dan relevansi pelayanan terhadap kebutuhan lokal. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif, partisipatif, dan kontekstual melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi terarah, refleksi pelayanan, dialog pengalaman, serta identifikasi persoalan gerejawi di lapangan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya penguatan wawasan para pendeta mengenai pertumbuhan gereja sebagai proses multidimensional yang mencakup kesehatan spiritual, kepemimpinan, organisasi, pelayanan, pemuridan, dan dampak sosial. Kegiatan ini juga mendorong para pendeta untuk merefleksikan ulang praktik pelayanan yang terlalu bergantung pada figur pendeta menuju model pelayanan yang lebih partisipatif, kolaboratif, dan berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, PKM ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat kepemimpinan gerejawi lokal sebagai bagian dari pembangunan sosial-spiritual masyarakat Supiori.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve the homiletical competence of preachers and prospective preachers at GBI Miracle Service Australia through a structured training program. The activity was conducted online via Zoom Meeting to reach participants from Sydney, Gold Coast, and Tamworth. The implementation method consisted of preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The training materials covered basic homiletical studies, biblical text interpretation, sermon structure development, illustration and application design, and communicative preaching delivery techniques. The training employed an andragogical-participatory model, positioning participants as active learners through discussion, reflection, and sermon-outline practice. The evaluation results indicated improvements in participants’ understanding, sermon preparation skills, and confidence in pulpit ministry. This activity positively contributed to strengthening the capacity of church ministers and was relevant to improving the quality of biblical proclamation within the context of Indonesian diaspora churches in Australia. The program also demonstrates the strategic role of theological institutions in empowering ecclesial ministry through applicable academic engagement. ABSTRAKKegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi homiletika pengkhotbah dan calon pengkhotbah GBI Miracle Service Australia melalui program training terstruktur. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom Meeting untuk menjangkau peserta dari Sydney, Gold Coast, dan Tamworth. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Materi training meliputi kajian dasar homiletika, penafsiran teks Alkitab, penyusunan struktur khotbah, pengembangan ilustrasi dan aplikasi, serta teknik penyampaian khotbah yang komunikatif. Model pelatihan yang digunakan adalah andragogis-partisipatif, dengan menempatkan peserta sebagai subjek belajar yang aktif melalui diskusi, refleksi, dan latihan penyusunan kerangka khotbah. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman, keterampilan menyusun khotbah, dan kepercayaan diri peserta dalam pelayanan mimbar. Kegiatan ini berdampak positif terhadap penguatan kapasitas pelayan gereja serta relevan bagi pengembangan kualitas pemberitaan Firman Tuhan dalam konteks gereja diaspora Indonesia di Australia secara berkelanjutan dan kontekstual.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen Old Testament biblical literacy among theology students at STFT Jaffray Makassar through an academic public lecture focusing on how Old Testament prophets embodied the prophetic voice. The program was grounded in the need to help students read the prophetic books not merely as collections of predictions or historical texts, but as theological witnesses that shape faith reasoning, ministerial integrity, ethical courage, social sensitivity, and communal hope. The activity employed an educative-participatory approach implemented through three stages: preparation, public lecture delivery, and evaluation with follow-up planning. The program was attended by 86 participants, consisting of undergraduate theology students, postgraduate students, lecturers, and academic staff. Of these participants, 79 evaluation responses were eligible for analysis. The evaluation results indicated that the activity was rated very good, with an overall mean score of 4.67 or 93.32%. The highest score was obtained in the speaker’s mastery of the subject, with a score of 4.82, followed by topic relevance at 4.71, academic benefit at 4.68, clarity of material at 4.63, and quality of interaction at 4.49. The findings show that a public lecture can serve as an effective academic community service model for strengthening students’ understanding of the prophetic voice as a praxis of faith that integrates the word of God, social critique, liturgical renewal, and the contemporary responsibility of church ministry. ABSTRAKKegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkuat literasi Biblika Perjanjian Lama mahasiswa teologi di STFT Jaffray Makassar melalui kuliah umum akademik yang berfokus pada bagaimana para nabi Perjanjian Lama menghidupi suara kenabian. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan mahasiswa untuk membaca kitab-kitab nabi tidak hanya sebagai kumpulan nubuat atau teks historis, tetapi sebagai kesaksian teologis yang membentuk nalar iman, integritas pelayanan, keberanian etis, kepekaan sosial, dan pengharapan umat. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif melalui tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan kuliah umum, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 86 peserta yang terdiri atas mahasiswa S1 Teologi, mahasiswa pascasarjana, dosen, dan tenaga kependidikan. Dari jumlah tersebut, 79 respons peserta layak dianalisis. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan berada pada kategori sangat baik, dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 4,67 atau 93,32%. Aspek penguasaan narasumber memperoleh skor tertinggi, yaitu 4,82, diikuti relevansi topik 4,71, manfaat akademik 4,68, kejelasan materi 4,63, dan kualitas interaksi 4,49. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kuliah umum efektif sebagai media PkM akademik dalam memperkuat pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai suara kenabian sebagai praksis iman yang menghubungkan firman Allah, kritik sosial, pembaruan ibadah, dan tanggung jawab pelayanan gereja masa kini.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) presents both opportunities and ethical challenges for church life, particularly in youth ministry. AI can be utilized to support the preparation of ministry materials, digital content production, church communication, faith formation, and the design of social programs. However, its use also raises concerns related to information accuracy, algorithmic bias, plagiarism, data privacy, technological dependency, and the weakening of theological reflection in ministry. This community service program aimed to strengthen ethical AI literacy among GBI youth across Probolinggo in the contexts of ministry and social transformation. The program employed a Service Learning model based on ethical AI literacy through five stages: problem orientation, AI literacy instruction, guided practice, ethical-theological reflection, and the development of ministry action plans. The program involved 35 participants. The evaluation results showed an increase in participants’ understanding, with the average pre-test score rising from 56.8 to 84.1 in the post-test, indicating a gain of 27.3 points. In addition, 91.4% of participants stated that AI should be treated as a supporting tool rather than a substitute for human agency in ministry, while 88.6% emphasized the importance of verifying AI-generated information before use. The participants also produced seven AI-based action plans for digital ministry, faith formation, data privacy education, anti-hoax campaigns, and social transformation. These findings indicate that ethical AI literacy through a Service Learning model can strengthen the understanding, ethical awareness, and practical skills of church youth in using technology responsibly for ministry and society.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve church ministers’ literacy and awareness regarding burnout prevention in ecclesial ministry through a seminar entitled “Serving While Wounded.” Burnout in church ministry is a serious issue because it is associated with emotional exhaustion, decreased motivation, spiritual fatigue, relational conflict, and reduced ministry effectiveness. The program employed an educational-participatory approach through a seminar, material presentation, interactive discussion, reflective sharing, and participant evaluation. The activity involved 113 participants, consisting of church ministers, ministry activists, theology students, small group leaders, and congregation members actively engaged in ministry. The results indicate an increase in participants’ understanding of the concept of burnout, its symptoms, risk factors, and prevention strategies. The participants’ average pre-test score of 56.8 increased to 85.5 in the post-test, reflecting an improvement of 28.7 points. In addition, participant responses showed positive results; most participants stated that the seminar material was relevant to their ministry experience, helped them understand the symptoms of burnout, and provided practical strategies for maintaining the mental and spiritual well-being of church ministers. Therefore, this seminar contributed to developing critical awareness that healthy church ministry requires not only dedication but also self-management, healthy ministry boundaries, community support, and sustainable spiritual renewal. ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi dan kesadaran pelayan gereja mengenai pencegahan burnout dalam pelayanan gerejawi melalui seminar bertema “Melayani Sambil Terluka”. Burnout dalam pelayanan gereja merupakan persoalan serius karena berkaitan dengan kelelahan emosional, penurunan motivasi, kejenuhan spiritual, konflik relasional, serta menurunnya efektivitas pelayanan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif-partisipatif melalui seminar, penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, refleksi pengalaman, dan evaluasi peserta. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 113 peserta yang terdiri atas pelayan gereja/aktivis pelayanan, mahasiswa teologi, pemimpin kelompok kecil/komsel, dan jemaat aktif dalam pelayanan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai konsep burnout, gejala, faktor risiko, dan strategi pencegahannya. Rata-rata nilai pre-test peserta sebesar 56,8 meningkat menjadi 85,5 pada post-test, dengan peningkatan sebesar 28,7 poin. Selain itu, respons peserta terhadap kegiatan menunjukkan hasil positif; mayoritas peserta menyatakan bahwa materi seminar relevan dengan pengalaman pelayanan, membantu memahami gejala burnout, serta memberikan strategi praktis dalam menjaga kesehatan mental dan spiritual pelayan. Dengan demikian, seminar ini berkontribusi dalam membangun kesadaran kritis bahwa pelayanan gerejawi yang sehat tidak hanya menuntut dedikasi, tetapi juga memerlukan pengelolaan diri, batas pelayanan yang sehat, dukungan komunitas, dan pemulihan spiritual yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This egg hatching training activity aimed to improve the knowledge and technical skills of Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) internship students from the Animal Science Study Program in understanding the integrated egg hatching process, from egg receiving to producing day old chicks (DOC). The activity was conducted at PT. Satwa Indo Perkasa using a direct practice (hands-on training) method under the supervision of field lecturers and company supervisors. The training stages included egg receiving, egg grading, pre-warming, egg setting in setter machines, operation of setter and hatchery machines, egg turning, egg transfer, and pull chick processes. The results showed that students gained practical experience and technical understanding related to hatchery management, temperature and humidity control, and proper handling of hatching eggs according to poultry industry standards. Furthermore, the training enhanced students’ competencies in hatchery management, supporting their work readiness and technical expertise in the poultry farming sector. ABSTRAKKegiatan pelatihan penetasan telur ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa magang Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program Studi Peternakan dalam memahami proses penetasan telur secara terintegrasi, mulai dari penerimaan telur hingga menghasilkan day old chick (DOC). Kegiatan dilaksanakan di PT. Satwa Indo Perkasa dengan menggunakan metode praktik langsung (hands-on training) di bawah bimbingan dosen pembimbing lapangan dan supervisor perusahaan. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi penerimaan telur, grading telur tetas, pre warming, pengaturan telur pada mesin setter, pengoperasian mesin setter dan hatchery, turning, transfer telur, hingga proses pull chick. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memperoleh pengalaman praktis dan pemahaman teknis mengenai manajemen penetasan telur, pengendalian suhu dan kelembapan, serta penanganan telur tetas yang sesuai standar industri perunggasan. Pelatihan ini juga mampu meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam bidang hatchery sehingga dapat mendukung kesiapan kerja dan penguasaan keterampilan teknis di sektor peternakan unggas.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to mentor young church leaders in developing liberating, embracing, and hopeful communities at STT Bethel Indonesia. The program was grounded in the continuing presence of hierarchical, dominant, and less participatory leadership patterns within church contexts, which often limit the strategic role of younger generations. The implementation method employed an educational-transformative approach through interactive lectures, group discussions, case studies, theological reflection, and the formulation of ministry action plans. The program involved 230 participants, including students, young church leaders, youth ministers, and ministry activists. The evaluation results showed that 96% of participants understood the concept of Christian leadership that liberates, embraces, and brings hope; 94% recognized young people as present leaders of the church; and 88% expressed readiness to apply friendship-based leadership in ministry. This program demonstrates that mentoring based on doing theology and friendship leadership effectively forms young leaders who are participatory, reflective, and transformative. ABSTRAKKegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan mendampingi pemimpin muda gereja dalam membangun komunitas yang membebaskan, merangkul, dan berpengharapan di STT Bethel Indonesia. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah masih kuatnya pola kepemimpinan gereja yang hierarkis, dominatif, dan kurang memberi ruang partisipasi bagi generasi muda. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif-transformatif melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, refleksi teologis, dan penyusunan rencana aksi pelayanan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 230 peserta yang terdiri atas mahasiswa, pemimpin muda gereja, pelayan pemuda, dan aktivis pelayanan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 96% peserta memahami konsep kepemimpinan Kristen yang membebaskan, merangkul, dan berpengharapan; 94% memahami generasi muda sebagai pemimpin masa kini; dan 88% siap menerapkan kepemimpinan sahabat dalam pelayanan. Kegiatan ini menegaskan bahwa pendampingan berbasis doing theology dan kepemimpinan sahabat efektif membentuk pemimpin muda yang partisipatif, reflektif, dan transformatif.

Abstract

This Community Service program aimed to foster students’ spirituality through a campus worship service themed “Seven Capital Sin in History” at STIP Marunda. The program was grounded in the need for spiritual formation among maritime students who are being prepared not only with technical competence but also with integrity, self-control, discipline, responsibility, and spiritual maturity. The implementation method employed an educational-reflective approach through preaching, moral value internalization, spiritual reflection, activity evaluation, and follow-up formation. The theme of the seven capital sins was used as a theological and moral framework to help students recognize destructive tendencies within themselves, including pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and spiritual sloth. The results indicate that campus worship functions as an educational, reflective, and transformative space for student formation. Students were guided to understand spirituality not merely as a ritual activity, but as the foundation for character development, personal integrity, social awareness, and professional readiness. The activity contributed to the growth of reflective awareness, contextual moral understanding, self-control, spiritual discipline, and commitment to practicing Christian values in academic and social life. Therefore, campus worship can serve as a relevant and sustainable strategy for strengthening students’ spirituality and character formation.

Abstract

Reading skills are an important foundation in learning in elementary schools. However, there are still many students at the elementary school level who have difficulty reading, at SDN 100810 in Hiteurat, North Padang Lawas district, there are students who still have difficulty reading. This community service program aims to increase the reading interest and literacy skills of 3rd and 4th grade students at the school through a participatory approach, with activities such as learning houses, group reading, creative writing, and literacy games. Based on initial observations, 80 percent of students had difficulty writing and were able to construct sentences well. Evaluation results after providing guidance to students showed that this program was successful in increasing students' interest and reading skills, with 85 percent of students showing increased reading comprehension. Factors such as interest, interactive learning methods, and teacher and parental support played a significant role in the success of this program. This program is expected to become a model for literacy development in other schools. ABSTRAKKemampuan membaca merupakan fondasi penting dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Namun, masih terdapat banyak siswa di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca, di SDN 100810 di Hiteurat kabupaten Padang Lawas Utara terdapat siswa yang masih kesulitan membaca. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat baca dan kemampuan literasi siswa kelas 3 dan 4 di sekolah tersebut melalui pendekatan partisipatif, dengan kegiatan seperti rumah belajar, bacaan berkelompok, menulis kreatif, dan permainan literasi. Berdasarkan observasi awal terdapat 80 persen siswa mengalami kesulitan menulis dan  mampu  menyusun  kalimat  dengan baik. Hasil evaluasi setelah dilakukan bimbingan kepada siswa menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil meningkatkan minat dan kemampuan membaca siswa, terdapat 85 persen siswa menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman bacaan.  Faktor-faktor  seperti  minat,  metode  pembelajaran interaktif, serta dukungan guru dan orang tua berperan signifikan dalam keberhasilan program ini. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model dalam pengembangan literasi di sekolah-sekolah lain.
