Abstract

The Procurement Bureau of Goods/Services of the Regional Secretariat of East Java Province is still unable to provide optimal service due to several factors such as Knowledge, Skill and Responsibility. The purpose of the study was to analyze the influence of Knowledge, Skill and Responsibility on the Performance of East Java BPBJSD Employees. The study used an explanatory quantitative method. The sample population was 35 East Java BPBJSD Employees. Data collection was done through questionnaires. The analysis technique was through SPSS multiple linear regression. The results of the study proved that there was an influence of Knowledge, Skill and Responsibility on the Performance of East Java BPBJSD Employees partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

BPSDM East Java Province plays an important role in ensuring the existence of quality State Civil Apparatus in carrying out public services. This causes the East Java BPSDM to maximize employee performance by focusing on factors influencing Employee Performance. The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of Organizational Culture and Communication on Employee Performance at the East Java BPSDM. The study design is quantitative with SPSS regression analysis. The study population is 218 East Java BPSDM employees. Determination of the sample through the Slovin formula so that the study sample is 141 samples. Data collection through questionnaires. The results of the study prove that Organizational Culture and Communication have a significant impact on Employee Performance partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

Human Resources play a vital role in determining the success of an organization. The existence of human resources with maximum performance can improve organizational performance. The research goals to analyze the partial and simultaneous impact of the work environment and work motivation on the performance of BAPSD East Java employees. The study uses a causal type. The sample population is 37 BAPSD East Java employees. Data collection through Questionnaires with SPSS analysis. The results of the study prove that the Work Environment has no significant correlation with Employee Performance, but Work Motivation has a significant correlation with Employee Performance. While simultaneously the Work Environment and Work Motivation have a significant correlation with Employee Performance.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between electricity access, internet usage, and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Indonesia using the Vector Autoregressive (VAR) method. Access to electricity and the internet is vital for economic growth, though disparities remain, particularly in underdeveloped areas. The findings reveal a significant long-term relationship among the variables, with electricity access enhancing internet usage, which in turn influences economic growth. The Johansen cointegration test confirms their joint movement, while the Granger causality test shows a bidirectional relationship between GDP and electricity access. It is recommended that the government prioritize equitable access to electricity and the internet, improve digital skills, and promote collaboration between public and private sectors to achieve sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

This study analyzes the comparative financial performance of three metal sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, namely PT Beton Jaya Manunggal Tbk, PT Pelat Timah Nusantara Tbk, and PT Tembaga Mulia Semanan Tbk, during the period 2019–2023. The study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a comparative approach to evaluate financial ratios such as liquidity, solvency, activity, profitability, and market. The results show that PT Beton Jaya Manunggal Tbk excels in liquidity and solvency ratios, reflecting short-term financial stability and low dependence on debt. PT Tembaga Mulia Semanan Tbk shows the best performance in activity efficiency, with high asset turnover and optimal receivables management. Meanwhile, PT Pelat Timah Nusantara Tbk has the highest profitability ratio, reflecting the effectiveness of its equity strategy in generating profits. This study provides in-depth insight into the dynamics of the financial performance of the manufacturing sector in Indonesia, identifies effective financial strategies, and underlines the need to adapt to external challenges such as fluctuations in raw material prices and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly transformed the landscape of the working world, coinciding with the entry of Generation Z into the workforce. This study examines the paradigm shifts in human resource management (HRM) necessary to accommodate the unique characteristics of Generation Z in a post-pandemic context. Through comprehensive literature analysis and case studies, this research identifies key strategies in HRM, including technology adoption, work flexibility, continuous development, and a focus on holistic well-being. The findings indicate that organizations need to adopt more personalized, digital, and purpose-driven approaches to attract, retain, and develop Generation Z talent. This study provides valuable insights for HR practitioners and organizational leaders in designing effective HRM strategies in the post-pandemic era.

Abstract

This study aim to determine the impact of original revenue and intergovermental transfer to regional government financial performance.The populations are proviancial goverments in Indonesia in 2018-2021.The method used in this research was descriptive method by using empirical study. Technique of collecting data was conducted through secondary data obtained from document research. The data analysis technique is panel data regression with spss v.25. The result of this study are (1) Original revieanue has a positive effect to regional government financial performance; (2) Intergovermental transfer has a negative effect to regional government financial performance; and (3) Original revenue and intergovermental transfer have a positive effect to regional government financial performance.

Abstract

The study want to knows the effects from product quality and lifetstyle on iPhone purchasing decision in Bandar Lampung, where the iPhone is known a symbol of social status and modern lifestyle. This survey includes quantitative approach method with multiple linear regression analyis. The information were obtained from 100 iPhone user respondents by an online questionnaire and then evaluation through the SPSS version 30 for windows program. The result from this research show that product quality and lifestyle partially and simultaneously affect iPhone purchasing decisions in Bandar Lampung. This research provides a new perspective regarding the factors that cause7 iPhone purchasing decisions that emphasize the important role of product quality and lifestyle in the context of an envolving market.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the direct and indirect influence of experience and destination image on loyalty through customer value in the Ratu Intan tourist area, Amal Beach, Tarakan City, either partially or simultaneously. The sample in this research was 114 visitors to Ratu Intan Amal Beach. The data collection techniques and tools used were observation, interviews, literature and questionnaires. The research results show that the direct influence of experience is not significant on customer value, the direct influence of destination image is significant on customer value, the direct influence of experience is not significant on loyalty, the direct influence of destination image is not significant on loyalty, the direct influence of customer value is significant on loyalty. Indirectly, experience is not significant to loyalty through customer value, indirectly destination image is significant to loyalty through customer value. Simultaneously the experience and image of the destination have a positive and significant effect on customer value, simultaneously the experience and image of the destination have a positive and significant effect on loyalty. Based on this, the management of the Ratu Intan Amal Beach area can evaluate and arrange quality shopping facilities and public facilities so as to give a positive impression to visitors to the Ratu Intan Amal Beach area, Tarakan City.

Abstract

The existence of the DPRD Secretariat is an inseparable part of the government structure, both at the Provincial and Regency/City levels, and is closely related to the performance of the DPRD. However, many parties still do not understand the role and function of the DPRD Secretariat (Setwan) in its daily activities. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the role of the DPRD Secretariat in supporting the implementation of the DPRD's administrative functions at the Provincial level. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the research location at the East Java Provincial DPRD Secretariat Office. The research informants consisted of 11 people including DPRD members, officials, and staff within the East Java Provincial DPRD. The data analysis technique was carried out using the triangulation method, namely matching data from interviews, observations, and supporting documents or other opinions. The results of the study indicate that in the implementation of the representative function of the Provincial DPRD, the role of the East Java Provincial DPRD Secretariat, especially the staff, is still limited to facilitating the needs of completeness to support the three functions of the DPRD. The DPRD Secretary who comes from the Civil Servant (PNS) circle and is tasked with serving the Provincial People's Representative Council, as well as the needs of the DPRD, has played a role but has not been fully optimal.
