Abstract

This research is motivated by the initial survey that the conditions of teaching and learning the Qur'an and hadits in class XI IPA 2 MAN 1 Pekanbaru already using cooperative learning methods, such as jigsaw. However, the low student learning activities, as well as on student learning outcomes is still mediocre. Therefore, this study wanted to test whether there is significant influence implementation of STAD cooperative method to study activity of student learning of the learning process in the al-Quran and Hadits class XI IPA 2 MAN 1 Pekanbaru? And whether there are significant differences STAD cooperative implementation method with conventional methods of student learning outcomes in subjects al-qu'anand Hadits inclass XI IPA 2 MAN 1 Pekanbaru? These results indicate that first, there are significant differences between students' learning activities before and after the learning method STAD cooperative. It is based on the results of t-test value of 24 371 with sig (a one-tailed) 0.000> 0.05. Secondly there is significant influence implementation of STAD cooperative method of student learning outcomes in subjects al-qu'anand hadist in class XI IPA 2 MAN 1 Pekanbaru. This is shown by the results of the t-test value of 12,200 with sig (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

This research is to explain the process of increasing intensive reading skill on students class XI social 3 MAN 1 Pekanbaru thought STAD cooperative study method. The subject of the research is the student’s class XI social 3 MAN 1 Pekanbaru which is consist of 24 students. The subject is chosen because based on the observation the class has the lowest achievement compare with another classes. The data is taken in form of qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative data is collected by onservation, picture and videos. Quantitative data is taken fromstudent’s achievement and student’s observation sheet. The finding of the research suggestthat the using of STAD cooperative study method can increase student’s intensive reading skill in determine the fact and opinion sentence and utter the head line of a text. Based on the findings, the writer conclude that: (1) The using of STAD cooperative study method in determining fact and opinion sentence can increase the student’s achievement on class XI social 3 MAN 1 Pekanbaru. (2) The factors to increase it are: a) teacher attitude in the process of intensive reading study. b) The good communication between teacher and student’s, student’s and student’s among them selves. c) The right study method used by the teacher in intensive teaching process. And d) The fun and happy condition of teaching createdby the teacher

Abstract

This study aims to increase understanding of the concept of Fiqh through the application of problem-based learning at MAN 3 Pekanbaru. A good understanding of the concept of Fiqh is important for students to know and understand the teachings of Islam. Problem-based learning was chosen as an effective learning model to help students gain a deep understanding of Fiqh concepts. This study used a classroom action research method involving class X students at MAN 3 Pekanbaru. The stages of research include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In the planning stage, the researcher designs a problem-based learning plan that is relevant to the Fiqh concept to be studied. Then, the implementation phase involves the application of problem-based learning using case studies or real situations related to the concept of Fiqh. During the learning process, students will be actively involved in solving problems and implementing them the concept of Fiqh in the context of everyday life. The teacher will act as a facilitator who guides students in exploring problems, finding solutions, and formulating understanding of Fiqh concepts through discussion and collaboration in groups. The results of observation and evaluation were carried out to measure the increase in students' understanding after implementing problem-based learning. Tests, project assignments, and group discussions are used as evaluation instruments. Furthermore, the results of the evaluation are used as a basis for reflecting on and improving the problem-based learning strategy that has been implemented. It is hoped that this research can contribute to increasing students' understanding of Fiqh concepts at MAN 3 Pekanbaru through the application of problem-based learning. In addition, this research can also provide insights and recommendations to Fiqh teachers in developing more effective and relevant learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the use of technology-based learning in improving students' understanding of the historical context at MAN 3 Pekanbaru. This research involved class XI students as the main participants and was conducted for one academic semester. A technology-based learning approach is used by utilizing interactive learning software, documentary videos, and online resources that are relevant to historical content. The research method used is classroom action research with four cycles. Each cycle involves introducing historical material through technology, giving technology-based assignments, group discussions and reflections, and evaluating student understanding. The research data were obtained through tests of understanding the historical context, class observations, and interviews with students. The results showed that there was a significant increase in students' understanding of the historical context after implementing technology-based learning. Student demonstrated higher levels of engagement in learning, as well as better abilities to analyze and relate historical facts to social, political, and cultural contexts. They also demonstrate proficiency in using technology resources to obtain additional information and expand their understanding. The discussion of the findings of this study shows that technology-based learning is effective in increasing students' understanding of the historical context. Technology provides easy access to relevant resources and content, and enables students to learn independently and participate actively in the learning process. In addition, the interaction between technology and students results in an interesting and motivating learning experience.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work culture, leadership style and teacher motivation on teacher performance at SDN in Cluster II, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study were 42 teachers. The results of the study show that work culture, leadership style, and teacher motivation simultaneously influence teacher performance. The results of the study also show that partially each variable also influences teacher performance. Recommendations that can be given are the need to maintain and increase returns by maximizing the quantity of employee work such as giving promotions to employees who have good quality work.

Abstract

Problem solving ability is an ability that must be possessed by students in solving various problems and being able to apply it in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to determine how far the effectiveness of problem solving variables for students in the learning process. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) development model with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 2 constructs. The survey study was carried out by involving 10 teachers from various schools. Data collection techniques were carried out by filling out online questionnaires, which were then analyzed with the help of the SPSS program. The results of the study prove that: 1) the preparation and development of the evaluation of the problem variable instrument on E-Book media for students in this study was carried out by testing 2 research constructs, namely 1) variable accuracy, and 2) variable effectiveness. As well as the results of testing the validity and reliability indicate that the data validity of the evaluation instrument meets the valid criteria. From this research, it shows that the developed instrument meets the requirements for use in the development of E-Book media.

Abstract

This research aimed at finding out how the efforts of religious subject teachers in minimizing student academic procrastination at Islamic Junior High School of Al-Muttaqin Pekanbaru City were. It was a qualitative research. Observation, interview, and documentation were the techniques of collecting data. The data analysis technique was done through the steps of data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The data validity was tested through data triangulation technique-comparing data from various sources to obtain the validity of the research findings. The research findings showed that some efforts carried out by the religious subject teachers in minimizing the behavior of academic procrastination were giving punishment, using various learning methods, giving motivation before and after the teaching and learning process, cooperating and communicating among religious subject teachers. The supporting factors were the support from the school and the cooperation among religious subject teachers and homeroom teachers in minimizing student procrastination behavior. The obstructing factors were the lack of student motivation and participation interest in learning, the lack of social support from the family, and the influence of peers.

Abstract

This research is development research (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The stages passed include: analysis: student performance and needs; design: media and material design; development: validation by media experts and material experts; implementation: product trials in small groups and the final evaluation stage. Media components consist of: 1) game board; 2) toy animals; 3) preservation card; 4) dice and bucket; 5) “the treasure map” module. Product validation by media experts with a percentage result of 81.81%. validation by material experts was 80.83% and validation of the emotion regulation questionnaire by experts was 91.25%. Media trials in small groups resulted in 83.64% while in limited groups the percentage was 81.16%. The pretest and posttest results show that the mean posttest difference is 90.31%, while the pretest results are 81.03%. This indicates that there has been an increase in students' emotional regulation abilities after using science-education based board game learning media

Abstract

Tawakkal, sebagai salah satu konsep fundamental dalam Islam, mengajarkan sikap berserah diri kepada Allah SWT setelah melakukan usaha maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implikasi tawakkal terhadap kesehatan mental, khususnya dalam konteks peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai literatur terkait tawakkal, kesehatan mental, dan psikologi Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tawakkal memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kesehatan mental peserta didik. Dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai tawakkal, peserta didik mampu mengatasi tekanan akademik, kecemasan, dan ketidakpastian hidup. Tawakkal membantu mereka mencapai ketenangan batin, mengurangi rasa bersalah berlebihan, serta memperkuat daya tahan mental terhadap tantangan. Selain itu, tawakkal juga mendorong peserta didik untuk tetap optimis, bersabar, dan terus berusaha dengan keyakinan bahwa hasil akhirnya adalah ketetapan Allah SWT. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tawakkal dapat menjadi landasan psikologis yang penting dalam membangun kesehatan mental peserta didik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pembinaan nilai-nilai tawakkal dalam lingkungan pendidikan untuk mendukung perkembangan mental dan spiritual peserta didik. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk melakukan kajian lapangan guna memperoleh data empiris terkait pengaruh tawakkal terhadap kesehatan mental.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the application of Six Sigma in improving the quality of academic services in educational institutions. The method used is a literature study, with the data collection stage which includes analysis of various references related to the implementation of Six Sigma in the academic sector. With this approach, it is hoped that it can provide a comprehensive understanding of the contribution of Six Sigma in creating more efficient and measurable service processes. The research results show that implementing Six Sigma can increase efficiency, reduce administrative problems, and meet student needs more effectively. A data-driven approach allows identifying appropriate solutions, such as updating academic information systems or improving coordination between staff, that have a positive impact on student satisfaction as well as the efficiency of the institution's work. The successful implementation of Six Sigma not only improves the quality of academic services but also strengthens the reputation of educational institutions. A more efficient process creates a more productive and quality academic environment, supports student development, and produces superior human resources who are ready to compete in the future.
