Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of group guidance using group discussion techniques to increase the learning interest of grade XII Language 3 students at SMAN 1 Susut in the academic year 2022/2023. This research includes Classroom Action Research, an effort carried out in a planned and systematic way by reflecting on service practices and then carrying out corrective actions to improve counseling service practices. The subjects of this study were students of class XII Language 3 SMAN 1 Susut who were selected for one class that showed a problem regarding low interest in learning, which was determined based on data from the guidance and counseling teacher as well as direct observation of the researcher, then through the interest in learning instrument it was found that five students became research subject. The results of this study indicate that group counseling services with group discussion techniques are very effective and can increase students' interest in learning by 73.8%. The researchers suggest counseling guidance teachers can use group guidance services with group discussion techniques as an appropriate alternative to address student problems, significantly increasing student interest in learning at SMAN 1 Susut.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine implementation of cooperative learning of the Teams Games Tournament type on respiratory system lesson to the students learning activeness of class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara. The type of this research was classroom action research. The dependent research variable was learning activeness using an observation sheet in the form of a questionnaire. The data were analysed using quantitative descriptive data analysis with proportions. The results of this study indicated that in the implementation of the first cycle, the average achievement of student activeness was 63.48%. During the implementation of cycle II, the average student activeness achievement increased by 19.41% from cycle I to 82.89%. In cycle II, 38 students got very active and 7 students got active. Thus, it could be interpreted that applying the cooperative learning model of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type could increase student learning activeness in class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kuta Utara especially on respiratory system lesson.

Abstract

Implementing guidance and counseling in school learning is necessary, considering that students are in adolescence. At this stage, a person experiences many physical and psychological transitions that should affect his behavior, including when preparing for career choices, clarity and expectations of future work, and career self-efficacy. Applying the Solution Focused Brief Counseling model is a form of intervention that is applied in implementing cognitive improvement in a person, which focuses on finding solutions to solve problems. This study aimed at measuring the success rate of implementing Group Counseling Services with the Solution Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) Model to Increase Students' Career Self-Efficacy. This study used a class action research method with eight students. The research was conducted through 2 cycles, beginning with the stages of planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting on each cycle. The tools used were observational tools to measure professional self-efficacy. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively by describing the facts collected and presented in descriptions. The result of this study is an increase in career self-efficacy in students after being given group counseling services with the SFBC model. Based on the results of the implementation of classroom action research that has been carried out, it is hoped that in the future, counseling teachers will become one of the alternative methods of implementing counseling in schools.

Abstract

Teachers must be able to plan hands-on lessons in a way that encourages fun, creative, and engaging learning. The research objective was to improve the ability of SMK Negeri 3 Tabanan teachers to develop teaching modules. The results of the supervision and evaluation carried out on the teachers of SMK Negeri 3 Tabanan show that most of the teachers have not been able to develop teaching modules independently, so anticipatory action is needed. This research is a school action research. School Action Research is a type of self-reflection carried out by educational actors in the educational environment to improve the quality of education, understanding of these practices, and the conditions for their implementation. The research was done at SMK Negeri 3 Tabanan both online and offline. The Study took place in 2022 between July and August. A total of 86 teachers of SMK Negeri 3 Tabanan participated in this study. Based on the research findings, supervising coaching has the potential to improve teachers' ability to create Independent Curriculum Teaching Modules through training. One indicator of the success of school action research is that 100% of teachers are very good at making Independent Curriculum Teaching Modules.
