<![CDATA[Abstract: Parent's child rearing in motivating elementary school students’ learning.Purpose of this research was to describe forms of parents’ child rearing’ parent in motivating elementary school students’ learning and dominant child rearing conducted by parent in improving elementary school students’ learning motivation of class IV, V, dan VI at Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Research method; survey with questionnaire instrument to 460 students respondent. Research results; quality of parents’ child rearing with democratic form classified very good, i.e. higher than means, quality of parents’ child rearing with authoritarian form can be classified as low in motivating students in learning. Quality of students’ learning motivation at Muaro Jambi Region can be classified very good and they had maximum hope and mission toward learning motivation.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk pola asuh orang tua dalam memotivasi siswa dan pola asuh dominan yang dilakukan oleh orang tua untuk meningkatkan kualitas motivasi belajar siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI pada Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Metode penelitian; survay dengan instrumen angket terhadap 460 siswa responden. Hasil penelitian; kualitas pola asuh orang tua berbentuk demokratis tergolong sangat baik yaitu di atas rata-rata, pola asuh orang tua berbentuk otoriter kurang baik untuk memotivasi siswa dalam belajar. Kualitas motivasi belajar siswa di kabupaten Muaro Jambi tergolong sangat baik dan memiliki harapan dan cita-cita untuk mencapai hasil belajar secara maksimal. ]]>

<![CDATA[Entrepreneurship education in vocational schools is vital because vocational schools have a unique and complex education system. Vocational education has the opportunity to generate students with practical abilities, knowledge, and skills for work. Such skills and knowledge are crucial to welcome the 4.0 industrial revolution era requiring human resource quality improvement. Therefore, this study reviews the importance of entrepreneurship education in vocational schools, especially in facing the challenges of the 4.0 era. We used a literature study method to analyze the related literature and discuss these issues. We conclude that entrepreneurship education is essential to shape the character of vocational students because such schools accommodate students with competencies for work. Hence, graduates are expected to create job vacancies and set up their businesses. Therefore, we need character-building to support students’ entrepreneurial spirit, and thus, it needs help from the community and the government. The community needs to trust vocational schools to produce graduates prepared for work and create job vacancies. The government also needs to trust the graduates by providing space to work well.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklan dan kelompok referensi terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa Progam Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Batanghari. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian ekplanatori. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket, yang dibagikan pada 49 responden yaitu mahasiswa Progam Studi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Batanghari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tedapat pengaruh simultan iklan dan kelompok referensi terhadap perilaku konsumsi. Secara parsial iklan berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa sebesar 0.696 yang berarti terdapat pengaruh kuat dan signfikan iklan terhadap perilaku konsumsi, dan kelompok referensi berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa sebesar 0.681yang berarti terdapat pengaruh kuat dan signifikan kelompok referensi terhadap perilaku konsumsi mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Batanghari.]]>

<![CDATA[Sebagai seorang pendidik bagi generasi penerus bangsa, sudah selayaknya seorang guru memiliki kemampuan menulis sebuah artikel ilmiah sehingga para anak didik memiliki model untuk kehidupan akademik disekolah. Guru merupakan sumber daya yang dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan yang lebih dari masyarakat biasa karena kapasitasnya yang lebih intens berinteraksi dengan ilmu pengetahuan. Hal tersebut sudah sepatutnya mampu mengaktualisasikan kompetensinya bukan sekedar kegiatan pengajaran, tetapi mampu untuk menulis hasil dan tantangan pengajaran tersebut dalam penelitian yang bisa dipublikasikan dalam media publikasi baik yang bertaraf nasional, regional, maupun internasional yang pada akhirnya dapat berkontribusi positif bagi permasalahan dalam dunia pendidikan. Pelatihan ini dipandang penting dalam rangka memberikan pengetahuan kepada para guru mengenai ruang lingkup pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah meliputi dasar-dasar penulisan karya tulis ilmiah, hal-hal yang perlu dan tidak perlu dilakukan dalam penulisan karya tulis ilmiah; penulisan artikel ilmiah dalam bahasa inggris yang baik dan benar, dan penyusunan dan perbaikan proposal artikel ilmiah oleh masing-masing peserta yang akan dikirim ke jurnal lokal atau nasional.]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan nilai peduli lingkungan melalui program pengembangan diri di SD Negeri 55/I Sridadi Kecamatan Muara Bulian. Jenis penelitian adalah pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, sementara teknik analisa data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Dari hasil penelitian, pelaksanaan nilai peduli lingkungan melalui program pengembangan diri berupa kegiatan rutin adalah piket kelas dan piket bersama. Berupa kegiatan spontan adalah menanam pohon bersama dan memilah-memilah tabungan sampah untuk dijadikan barang kerajinan. Berupa keteladanan adalah kepala sekolah dan guru dengan tidak membuang sampah sembarangan dilingkungan sekolah. Kepala sekolah dan guru menunjukkan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan dengan memungut sampah yang ditemukan. Berupa pengkondisian adalah sekolah menyediakan sarana berupa tempat sampah organik dan anorganik dilokasi lingkungan sekolah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini pelaksanaan nilai peduli lingkungan melalui program pengembangan diri di SD Negeri 55/I Sridadi adalah kegiatan rutin, kegiatan spontan, keteladanan, dan pengkondisian.]]>

<![CDATA[The presence of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in learning is a challenge in itself for the world of education, in particular, learning technology today. Demands in responding to the globalization of education have appeared before our eyes. Various computer devices and their connections can deliver students to learn quickly and accurately if used correctly and appropriately. Therefore, it requires human resources who are responsive to ICT developments Learning will be more fun if the teacher is able to make ICT-based teaching materials that can increase student creativity. With the use of ICT-based teaching materials in learning, the learning process will be more interesting and can make students more contextual. If we observe carefully, until now teachers have not been able to develop ICT-based learning. In the learning process, the teacher still uses the old method, namely teacher-centered learning, so that students are less able to develop their creativity. This condition is also found in teachers at SMP N 1 Muaro Jambi. Where some teachers have not been able to carry out the ICT-based learning process, especially in compiling and making teaching materials, so that the learning process is only traditional, namely by lecturing, a little question and answer. Through community service activities, it will help teachers improve their competence in mastery of ICT which is useful in the learning process.]]>

<![CDATA[Every educational institution has a leader who has different abilities and leadership styles in improving the performance of their employees. In addition to the leadership style, performance is also influenced by the capabilities of each employee. This study aims to determine whether the principal's leadership style (X1) and teacher capability (X2) on teacher performance (Y) either partially or simultaneously, and which independent variables (X1 and X2) have a more significant influence on teacher performance. This research is a quantitative study that aims to test hypotheses between variables. The data used are primary data obtained directly from the respondents, as many as 48 people through filling out a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression, which is processed using SPSS. At the same time, all instruments in this study have been tested for validity and reliability, where all instruments have been declared valid because of the value T count > T table. In contrast, it has been declared reliable because it is greater than the Cronbach alpha value of 0.60 processed. They were using SPSS. The T-test results of leadership style obtained a sig value of 0.002 and a teacher's capability value of 0.000. These results indicate that the variables of leadership style and teacher capability significantly influence teacher performance. In contrast, the teacher capability variable has a more significant influence on teacher performance.]]>

<![CDATA[In the current era of globalization, it has become a necessity for the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for academic administrative services in schools. The use of ICT for academic administrative services is nothing new in Indonesia. However, there are still many teachers and administrative staff at every school in Indonesia who still do not use ICT for academic administrative services. This can not be separated from the lack of access of teachers and administrative staff to ICT itself. This lack of access may cause teachers and administrative staff in some schools to still use conventional academic service styles, causing strengthening of governance, accountability and public image of school institutions to be less positive. The use of a conventional academic service style, for example a manual student assessment process, if left unchecked may cause a school as a "learning organization" to not develop or develop slowly. The Training on the Utilization of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Academic Administration Services for Teachers and Administrative Staff of SMKN PP Jambi is expected to strengthen governance, accountability and public image of school institutions, especially SMKN PP Jambi.]]>
