COVIT (Community Service of Health) : Jurnal pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat adalah jurnal yang mempublikasikan hasil pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat yang terintegrasi dengan bidang kesehatan masyarakat. Jurnal ini berguna bagi tenaga kesehatan masyarakat di dinas kesehatan, puskesmas, mahasiswa kesehatan masyarakat, tenaga pengajar kesehatan masyarakat khususnya dan bidang kesehatan lainnya pada umumnya. Jurnal Pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat menerima naskah dalam bentuk hasil-hasil pengabdian masyarakat baik dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa Inggris. Abstract

In Indonesia, the target of herd immunity/(herd immunity) is 70% in accordance with the characteristics of the spread of Covid-19. The development and discovery of the Covid-19 vaccine as well as minimal public compliance raises the issue of "herd immunity. The purpose of this community service is to increase public knowledge about the delivery of the COVID-19 vaccine. From the field survey data, it was found that 88% of the residents of Aur Kuning Village on average had a bad attitude about PHBS in the New Normal Era, and were not willing to be vaccinated to prevent Covid-19 transmission. Furthermore, observation and interview data for three families (Heads of Families) in the Aur Kuning sub-district also knowledge about the Covid-19 vaccine is still not good, people think that vaccines are not effective in preventing the transmission of Covid 19, and there is no information regarding the Covid-19 vaccine given to them. Public. This made the community service team interested in providing an explanation about Herd Immunity (herd immunity) in administering the Covid-19 vaccine and also the head of the village at that time asked the Community Service Team of the Perintis Indonesia University to provide counseling about administering the Covid-19 vaccine in the Guguk Panjang Health Center Work Area. Aur Kuning Village, Bukittinggi. The method used in this service is to provide counseling about the importance of the Covid-19 vaccine by means of lectures, discussions, and questions and answers. The results of this activity obtained that the majority of participants were aged around 30 to 60 years, the majority of which were high school education. After conducting health education about the Covid-19 vaccine, there was an increase in public knowledge about the importance of the Covid-19 vaccine. Abstract

High blood pressure is an increase in blood pressure above the standard value where the systolic pressure is 140 mmHg, or the diastolic blood pressure is 90 mmHg. Community service activities aim to conduct assessments and provide preventive and promotive actions in patients with hypertension. The activity was carried out in the Kalirandu Hamlet RT 05, Bangunjiwo, Kasihan, Bantul. The method used is descriptive quantitative analysis, and the sample size is 31 elderly. Hypertension is a priority problem that arises based on the ultrasound approach. Increasing knowledge, awareness, and adherence to taking hypertension drugs is done by providing educational media in the form of posters and leaflets. Abstract

This community service aims to increase literacy interest in students in the Surabaya and Probolinggo areas through short story writing training. The urgency of doing this community service activity is because students' interest in literacy activities is still low. The method used in this training is a tutorial method and online mentoring by utilizing the Zoom meeting application. During the training, participants received literature introduction materials, basic materials for writing short story genres, short story writing practices, and work discussions. The results of this community service activity are the ability to write short stories and the formation of student literacy interests, especially in reading literary works of the short story genre. Abstract

Three small businesses, Andre Bakery, Handyani, and Arlin Bakery, located in Tlanakan village, Tlanakan sub-district, kab. Pakistan. Considering that the heads of families from each partner work as construction workers, the existence of these three companies is absolutely necessary because they can meet the needs of this simple family. However, it is very unfortunate lately, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, partner income has decreased drastically, reaching 30–50%. Partner issues will be handled with an approach that combines intensive counseling with the transfer of knowledge and technology, which includes good manufacturing practice (GMP) training, food safety counseling, product halal counseling, strengthening business management through P-IRT registration and halal products, product packaging improvements. , and the provision of production support facilities. This activity is beneficial for the three partners. The results of this PKM activity include the publication of activities in the form of improving partner production facilities, implementing partner technical guidance, and scientific articles on PKM service activities. Abstract

Real Work Lecture (KKN) is an intra-curricular course organized by academics in all universities that must be followed by all students with the aim of increasing students' abilities and insights as a provision for life in society after graduating from study. Basically, Real Work Lecture (KKN) is a form of real dedication of a student to the real community. After getting lecture material that can always be useful in the community itself. English Fun Learning (EFL) and Learning While Playing (BSB) training services have been carried out. This service is carried out by the Service Team and KKN students. The place of this devotion is Tlanakan Pamekasan Madura. This service method uses 3 stages, namely Lecture, Discussion, Demonstration. The result of this service is an understanding of Ms. Office increased, increased learning outcomes using English Fun Learning (EFL), increased learning outcomes using Learning While Playing (BSB). Abstract

In early 2018, the UPTD of Kebun Sikolos Health Center made an innovation by establishing a Smart Group, namely the development of the Serambi Prolanis Group. The management of this group was modified so that the activities did not only focus on medical consultations, home visits, reminders, group activities and monitoring of health status, but were also developed into agents providing information, promotion and health education in the neighborhood. The goal is to encourage participants with stroke to achieve optimal quality of life. This ingenious group consists of 200 people and not all of the elderly here have good behavior in preventing stroke, including smoking and consuming fatty foods. This Smart Group has attended training conducted by community nurses on stroke elderly aggregates to help community groups learn new knowledge and skills related to stroke care and provide encouragement to group members. The purpose of community service is to increase the role of the Smart group in terms of motivation, health promotion and stroke prevention efforts through the provision of comprehensive education. The results of pre and post tests regarding the knowledge of members of the smart group related to their role in stroke prevention were very good. Conclusions and suggestions for good behavior in stroke prevention in the UPTD Working Area of ??Kebun Sikolos Health Center Padang Panjang can be realized through education to increase the role of smart groups about understanding and good application of motivation, communication, acting as role models, prioritizing educational goals for families, neighbors and communities in residential environment and the general public as well as ways to prevent stroke. Abstract

Complaints of dyspepsia is a clinical condition that is often encountered in daily practice. The term dyspepsia started from being intensively promoted since the late 80s, which describes a complaint or a collection of symptoms (syndrome) consisting of pain or discomfort in the epigastrium, nausea, vomiting, bloating, early satiety, full stomach, belching, and a feeling of discomfort. radiating heat in the chest. Dyspepsia usually begins with bad habits breakfast, breakfast for teenagers, should be useful, because school time is an activity that requires energy and calories are quite large. The negative impact of not having breakfast can be an imbalance in the central nervous system followed by dizziness, shaking, or feeling tired. this can also trigger dyspepsia, because during 12 hours of sleep the body fasts all night, and in the morning it is in the first stage of feeling hungry so that the stomach which is still in the stage can increase stomach acid levels so that it can trigger dyspepsia. The purpose of this community service knowledge is to increase adolescents about dyspepsia and how to prevent dyspepsia. The method used is counseling with lectures, discussions, questions and answers and demos. The results of the 61 adolescents at SMAN 1 Kampar who participated in the counseling found that most of the adolescents were given better counseling after counseling than before counseling about dyspepsia. Abstract

North Sumetera has a fairly high fishery yield, especially in Kecematan Percut Sei Tuan. The main commodity is mackerel. However, the results of too much mackerel have not been used well. MTS Al-Wasiyah 19 as a service partner seeks to process fishery products into frozen processed food, but in the process of marketing and management still finds many obstacles and wants to further increase income generation. The purpose of this service activity is to carry out mapping related to business management and digital marketing on processed fish products. The methods used in this service activity are dicussion, interviews, training and mentoring. The activity was held on October 18, 2021 at MTS AL Wasliyah 19 Percut Sei Tuan with the target of teachers who want to increase income generation. Activities proceed smoothly and achievement indicators can be achieved. The teachers gave a positive response by conducting questions and answers in the discussion. Abstract

Entrepreneurship education must be carried out from an early age. The imbalance in the number of productive labor forces with the availability of jobs will cause unemployment. One way to reduce unemployment is to create entrepreneurs through entrepreneurship education from an early age. SMAK Frateran is a school that strives to create graduates who are able to answer the challenges of the future. SMA Frateran specifically makes entrepreneurship education taught from an early age through learning with gradual materials, especially with the design thinking method. The design thinking method starts with redefining the problem and creating innovative solutions for prototyping and testing. It is hoped that the design thinking method will provide entrepreneurship education learning by looking at environmental problems and solutions by making a business project as an output of learning. Abstract

Writing is one of media in communicating to spread knowledge which was got from reaserch results or literature thought. College students are also asked to have writing skills This community service aimed at training college students to have understanding about scientific articles, including parts in articles, procedures in writing article, and steps in publishing article. Moreover, through this community service, college students were expected become more ready and skilled in writing based on their realm and are able to publish their article to any journals, national, or international. The method which were used in this community service were done step by step, started from preparation, implementation, to evaluation. Through this community service was resulted that college tudents showed their ability in determining parts of scientific article and were able to explain the content of each part. They also learnt procedures in writing scientific article. Furthermore, they understood the steps in publishing articles into scientific journals. Even though in the end of the training session there had not been students who finished their article, their progress have already developed into good writing.
