COVIT (Community Service of Health) : Jurnal pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat adalah jurnal yang mempublikasikan hasil pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat yang terintegrasi dengan bidang kesehatan masyarakat. Jurnal ini berguna bagi tenaga kesehatan masyarakat di dinas kesehatan, puskesmas, mahasiswa kesehatan masyarakat, tenaga pengajar kesehatan masyarakat khususnya dan bidang kesehatan lainnya pada umumnya. Jurnal Pengabdian kesehatan masyarakat menerima naskah dalam bentuk hasil-hasil pengabdian masyarakat baik dalam bahasa Indonesia maupun bahasa Inggris. Abstract

The purpose of the journal is to provide broader knowledge regarding Gadget Efficiency as a learning media for primary school students in Sekar Mawar Sub-District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. the use of gadgets such as tablets in the classroom can contribute to an increase in student performance, it can also contribute to a decrease in the number of students who perform poorly in class. Not only that, gadgets also help improve the efficiency of teaching methods and students' learning capacity using tablets in class. Overall, the use of electronic gadgets has made the activities carried out in the classroom more flexible. Activities carried out by Kukerta students included conducting socialization related to the efficiency of gadgets as learning media for elementary students at SDN 003 Sekar Mawar regarding the meaning of gadgets, kinds of gadgets, positive and negative impacts of gadgets, how to use gadgets well, guidelines for using Google Meet, Zoom and Google Classroom as technology-based learning media using gadgets. Furthermore, Kukerta Students conducted a quiz with prizes which were asked to students of SDN 003 Sekar Mawar about the material described in the socialization, the last activity carried out was direct practice in using Zoom, Google Classroom, and Google Meet. Abstract

The economic resources of the local community in Kemuning Muda Village, Bunga Raya District, Siak Regency are agricultural, livestock, and MSME areas as a side business as well as the main business for the Kemuning Muda village community. It is important for the sustainability of the community's economy which is not low, and the people here are very enthusiastic about agriculture and agriculture and SMEs such as herbal medicine because it is easy to get traditional ingredients in making traditional herbal medicine. The thing that becomes an obstacle for traditional herbal medicine SMEs in Kemuning Muda village is that they are still less concerned about processed herbal medicine, especially from marketing. Types of traditional herbal medicine made by SMEs in the village of Kemuning Muda are herbs that are commonly found drunk by adults, teenagers, children such as kencur rice, tamarind turmeric and temulawak. The herbal medicine made by SMEs in traditional herbal medicine in the village of Kemuning Muda still uses natural ingredients and the sweetener comes from palm sugar or granulated sugar. The authenticity of the taste of traditional herbal medicine is still maintained so that the essence of traditional herbal drinks can still be felt and will damage the taste and efficacy of the traditional herbal medicine if using unnatural sweeteners. Traditional herbal medicine in Kemuning Muda village is still sold around the village or usually called jamu gendong, traditional herbal medicine in liquid form and put in bottles that will not last long. After socializing the traditional herbal medicine SMEs in the village of Kemuning Muda, who previously only knew about traditional herbal medicine and only marketed it by going around using bicycles, now they understand more about how to increase sales by way of marketing that can be recognized and recognized by the community. Abstract

The School Health Unit (UKS) is one of the units that provide health services to students while studying at Islamic boarding schools. The geographical location of the Al Hijrah Islamic boarding school is on the outskirts of forests and rivers, making the students have to be more careful in carrying out their activities in the pesantren area, especially when taking water in the river and looking for firewood in the forest which often results in injuries and fainting and there is a risk of drowning, but after When an initial survey was conducted, it was found that UKS cadres did not understand how to help students who were injured, fainted and drowned. This was because the UKS pesantren were still new and had never been able to improve the skills of students in providing first aid to students and in the community. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the skills of students in providing first aid to accidents at Islamic boarding schools. The method used is through demonstrations and practicum in carrying out first aid accidents. The results of the service show that students have skills related to first aid in accidents. This activity received great support from the pesantren management because it was able to develop a school health unit that was able to take a role in providing first aid for accidents to pesantren residents Keywords: Upskilling, First Aid, Accidents.

Abstract

Today, herbal plants are very widely used as alternative healing and are very much researched. Garlic is one of the ingredients that is often used as an ingredient in cooking. Apparently, in addition to being used as food ingredients, it can be used as herbal medicine. Garlic has been widely used as a traditional medicine for many years. In 3000 BC, Chinese scientists have tested and analyzed the benefits of garlic. The ancient Greek scholar Aristotle also tested garlic in 335 BC for medicinal use. This community service aims to provide socialization in Bantan Tengah Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency in order to utilize kitchen spices that are often used as cooking ingredients so that the community can later provide economic value, so that it can help the community's economy both individually and in the household and analyze potential Black Garlic in Central Banten Village. This method of implementing community service is carried out through socialization and education activities through counseling, mentoring and training with various main and supporting activity programs. The basic properties in Black Garlic are able to be antioxidants and can ward off free radicals. The well-known compounds are polyphenols, S-alllyl and flavonoids. Some of the benefits of black garlic help lower cholesterol, triglycerides, uric acid and high blood pressure, normalize blood sugar, prevent cancer and other diseases. Abstract

This activity is carried out in the village Benteng Hilir. The title for this outreach activity is “SOSIALISASI STUNTING “MAKAN TAK HANYA KENYANG TAPI BERGIZI”. The purpose of the activities carried out by these students is to increase information and education to all guardians of the TK Negeri Pembina students regarding stunting and child nutrition. The material explained in the form of the characteristics of children suffering from stunting, the factors causing stunting, the impact of stunting, and the supplementary food program (PMT) that can be given to children. Abstract

Benteng Hulu Village is a village located in Mempura District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. This village has 14 neighboring neighborhoods and 3 hamlets located not too far away. Looking at the village of Fort Hulu which seems to be quite lagging behind and the lack of social interaction. It can be seen from the residents who still don't know each other even though the places where they live are close together. Therefore, Riau University students want to change the habits of the village community and increase social interaction in Benteng Hulu Village by holding new activities after the Covid-19 shock. The method used is a field study method where the author is directly involved and goes into the field in activities in Desa Benteng Hulu. This Real Work Lecture is conducted within 1 month. From the activities carried out, two things are concluded, namely: 1). The community will interact with each other if there are fun social interaction activities, 2). Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood, where there is dynamic and rapid growth and development in physical, psychological, intellectual, social, sexual behavior associated with the onset of puberty. Problems related to adolescent reproductive health include breast cancer and cervical/cervical cancer. Cancer is one of the biggest causes of death in the world. Based on data from the Global Burden of Cancer (GLOBACAN) released by the World Health Organization (WHO) states that the number of cases and deaths from cancer until 2018 was 18.1 million cases and 9.6 million deaths in 2018. Cancer deaths is estimated to continue to increase to more than 13.1 million in 2030. According to the Ministry of Health (2019), the incidence of breast cancer is 42.1/100,000 population with an average death rate of 17/100,000. Meanwhile, according to the Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) in 2018, the prevalence of cancer in Indonesia reached 1.79/1000. This service aims to determine the description and early detection of breast cancer in adolescents. The method used in the service is to conduct counseling and practice BSE on young women at the Al Akbar Orphanage Pekanbaru. It is hoped that with this BSE counseling and practice, the knowledge level of young women will increase and make them more concerned about their health condition. The results of this service will be published in the community service proceedings.   Keywords: Early detection, breast cancer, young women

Abstract

The Madura University community service team chose the Nurul Iman Foundation. This foundation is located at RT. 7/ RW. 3 Lawangan Daya Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency, East Java Province. The reason for the election was because the Chairman of the Foundation had a strong commitment to improving the performance of its administrators. The author has coordinated with the Chair of the Foundation and expressed his willingness to be a partner in this activity. The method of implementing the service in order to implement the solution is carried out by; 1 strengthening and workshops, 2 introduction/strengthening of Human Resources for Foundations, 3 workshops on the method of formulating foundation management and the implementation of training and development of administrators. The results of this activity were concluded from the evaluation of participants' attendance and understanding that more than 70% were positive.

Abstract

Benteng Hilir Village is a fairly large village with a total area of ??15,426 hectares or equal to 154.26 km2. Benteng Hilir village is located in Mempura sub-district, Siak district, Riau province, Indonesia. This village consists of 14 Neighborhoods and Hamlets . The livelihoods of its citizens are diverse, namely: Breeders, Farmers, Entrepreneurs, Employees, Civil Servants, POLRI, Contractors, Drivers and so on. This village has a lot of potential that can be developed by the residents or the local community here. The development of the potential of this village is carried out by residents through the development of various MSME products. There are various kinds of MSME products developed by the community, namely; MSME products are cassava, kelulut honey, sugar cane juice and others. Kukerta students, Riau University, Benteng Hilir Village themselves have a role in helping MSME actors in the production process or making MSME products. The real results of these MSME activities can be seen from the opening of employment opportunities so as to reduce the number of unemployed people. This activity is carried out by students as a form of concern to the problems of rural economic development. Hopefully, with this activity, village MSMEs will continue to progress, so that they can help build the village economy. Keywords: Community Service, UMKM, Village potential

Abstract

Benteng Hulu Village is a village located in Mempura District, Siak Regency, Riau Province. This village has 14 neighborhood units and 3 hamlets which are not too far away. As a fairly large village, of course, there are always problems that occur, as we hear the most about Stunting. The problem of Stunting is influenced by several factors such as lack of understanding of health in early childhood and lack of initiative in developing nutrition for pregnant women. Therefore, we Riau University students took the initiative in the context of community service to hold outreach about alleviating Stunting and provide innovative nutritious food by making fish nuggets as a way to minimize Stunting cases. The method used is a field study method where the author is directly involved and goes into the field in activities in Benteng Hulu Village. This community service is carried out within 1 month. From the activities carried out, concluded two things, namely: 1). The community needs education about understanding about Stunting 2). The community needs to be given a solution for how to minimize the occurrence of Stunting in an innovative way in improving nutrition.
