Abstract

Anemia is one of the nutritional problems in adolescent girls. Anemia is a condition when the hemoglobin level in the blood is less than the normal value (<12gr/dl) in women which is characterized by clinical symptoms, namely lethargy, weakness, dizziness, light-headed eyes, and pale face. This activity was carried out using the FGD (Focused Group Communication) method in order to provide a detailed understanding to adolescents about responding to problems regarding anemia from an early age and in order to improve health status by consuming blood booster tablets, iron, and preventing anemia. The FGD method is effective because it has an informal and relaxed atmosphere so that the participants are more flexible and open in expressing their respective opinions. adolescence. The method of implementing this activity uses online and offline methods provided by the resource person or the extension agent. The results of this activity the youth understand and provide good feedback from the information submitted. The conclusion of this activity is that adolescents are able to understand and understand the meaning of anemia and can understand how to respond to the occurrence of anemia. Abstract

Banana plants are plants that are easy to cultivate either on special land or planted carelessly. The benefits of bananas include detoxifying the digestive system, treating kidney stones and urinary tract infections (UTI), weight loss, controlling cholesterol and blood pressure, curing stomach acid, stabilizing blood sugar, reducing puerperal fever, treating chickenpox, reducing stomach acid and treating diarrhea. infection. Banana tree juice contains potassium which is able to control cholesterol and blood pressure in a person. The purpose of this activity is so that people can take advantage of banana trees so that they have marketability and of course improve health. The methods used are lectures, training on how to manufacture and packaging the products. Banana stem processing is expected to be an alternative to lower blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Abstract

Hypertension is a public health threat. Hypertension often occurs without complaints so individuals feel that they do not need to have tests to control their blood pressure. This activity aims to provide information to increase public knowledge about hypertension prevention. This activity method uses a community diagnostic approach. Community diagnostics includes data collection, problem identification, problem priority setting, intervention, and evaluation phase. The intervention provided was in the form of health education and educational media in the form of posters about hypertension. The results of the activity showed that the participants were enthusiastic and active in discussions and questions and answers. Abstract

This activity was carried out on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 by the Aceh UGL service Lecturer team from 10.00 WIB to 11.00 WIB in the FKP UGL Aceh Classroom, attended by 15 students. At first, observations were made to identify the implementation of health protocols, then prepared material to be delivered directly using power point presentation media, then arranged a schedule for delivering material by resource persons (devotion lecturers) regarding education about health protocols as well as conducting discussion and Q&A. the media used is the presentation of the material through LCD, videos and leaflets. Educational activities for implementing health protocols were able to increase participants’ insight and knowledge about the importance of maintaining health protocols as an effort to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Abstract

The government has launched a National Action Plan program for handling stunting at the national level, especially villages. The age of 0–2 years or the age of under three years (toddler) is a golden age for the growth and development of children, because at that time there is a very rapid growth. The period of the first 1000 days is often called the window of opportunities or this golden period is based on the fact that in the fetal period until the child of two years of age there is a very rapid growth and development process that does not occur in other age groups. From the results of interviews with several mothers who have toddlers in the Malacca Legends Housing, it is known that they have not been exposed to much about stunting. So some of them think that their children / toddlers shorter than their age are genetic factors so they do not need further treatment. The method of implementation in the community service program through providing counseling on stunting to mothers in the malacca legend housing through 3 (three) stages, namely the implementation strategy meeting, location survey, then preparation of facilities and infrastructure. The population in this study were mothers in The Malacca Legends Housing Block H, while the Samples were mothers in the Malacca Legends Housing Block H who had babies and toddlers. The stage of implementing mentoring activities for mothers is divided into 3, namely, anthropometric measurements are carried out to find out data on weight and height and age to find out the nutritional status of toddlers, then continued with counseling about stunting, ways of prevention and community participation in handling stunting. After counseling, it is continued with a post-test to measure mothers' knowledge after community service activities are carried out. Parents and the community around Housing Legends Malacca Blok H Batam are mostly high school educated. Parents' knowledge about stunting prevention programs based on pre-test results, most mothers of toddlers do not know about stunting prevention. Meanwhile, based on the post test results, almost all mothers of toddlers understand about the implementation of the stunting program. Keywords : Toddler Mother, Stunting

Abstract

The increasing cases of Covid-19 have an impact on every aspect including in terms of the economy, health and other sectors including the organization's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The problem that arises is how public relations or public relations is able to carry out CSR in the midst of a pandemic so that people are able to feel the positive benefits of the organization's presence. The PKM activity started with the initiation of the head of the service who in charge of Crisis Issue Management and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) courses. The goal is to carry out the tri dharma of higher education in the fields of teaching and service. With this PKM, students not only get theory in lectures but can also interact with PR practitioners, increase their knowledge of PR and get direct experience of public relations work in the field. PKM activities were carried out online through the zoom meeting application on Sunday, December 19, 2021, attended by 130 participants. The implementation method is in the form of lectures and discussions with two resource persons from The National University of Malaysia and PR practitioner PT. Riau Pulp and Paper. The results of the PKM activity showed that participants were able to interact with the presenters, gain direct knowledge and experience about PR work, participants asked questions, discussed and answered quizzes given by the two resource persons. Abstract

Various efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 are still being carried out, including strict enforcement of health protocols, vaccinations, increasing knowledge about personal and environmental health as well as various other actions in breaking the chain of spreading the Covid-19 virus. Vaccination is very important in the formation of herd immunity, which aims to reduce the adverse effects of viral infections that occur. Children are also a group that is vulnerable to Covid 19. Elementary school is an educational setting that has the potential for Covid-19 transmission. SD Negeri 02 Campago Guguak Bulek Bukittinggi, as one of the elementary schools that has implemented face-to-face learning in class. This will certainly be a great opportunity for the spread of the covid 19 virus, if awareness of the importance of complying with health protocols, knowledge of vaccinations and knowledge of clean and healthy living behavior has not been realized properly. Given the importance of early knowledge about covid 19 vaccination, and health education regarding clean and healthy living behavior, the DIII Nursing Study Program, Perintis University also takes part in community service activities with the aim of providing early knowledge about covid 19 vaccination and creating awareness of health care. themselves and the environment, through the theme “Providing Early Education on Covid 19 Vaccination and Health Education on Clean and Healthy Behavior at State Elementary School 02 Campago Guguk Bulek Bukittinggi'. The methods in this activity are providing education through counseling, watching videos and demonstrations. The results of the service show the enthusiasm of students, this can be seen from the number of questions and responses by participants during the discussion of activities. From these results, it can be concluded that this educational activity can increase students' knowledge and awareness of the importance of COVID-19 vaccination as well as personal and environmental hygiene. Abstract

Mental health is a state of mental well-being that allows a harmonious and productive life, as an integral part of a person's quality of life by paying attention to aspects of human life. The prevalence of mental disorders worldwide according to WHO (World Health Organization) data in 2019, there are 264 million people experiencing depression, 45 million people suffering from bipolar disorder, 50 million people experiencing dementia, and 20 million people experiencing schizophrenia. This condition needs serious attention from all levels of cross-sectoral government both at the Central and Regional levels, as well as attention from the entire community, especially families. The lack of understanding of the community and families about how to treat patients with mental disorders and the stigma of society on mental patients will have a non-optimal impact on the recovery of family members who suffer from mental disorders. Where the field survey data found a statement that 85% of the people of Puhun Pintu Kabun Bukittinggi City lacked knowledge about people with mental disorders, community stigma in patients with mental disorders and how to treat patients with mental disorders at home. Health education and support from the community and family are very much needed by patients with mental disorders. Abstract

Teaching and learning activities in the classroom now have many challenges and demands. One of the challenges teachers face is the increasing amount of information that students can access, leaving teachers far behind in updating the information that students access. Therefore, it seems that teachers are forced to balance by looking for additional information using various media such as internet access and the latest reference books. After completing the basic e-learning training with a theoretical and practical approach for high school economics teachers in Yogyakarta, the trainees are expected to be able to compile online e-learning learning materials using the Edmodo platform. The adoption of the Edmodo platform is expected to make teachers not only rely on one learning model using conventional models. Based on the description of the implementation of the training activities, it can be concluded that the participation of the training participants is 90%. Participants actively ask and listen to the material given until the e-learning training ends. Participants hope a similar program will be repeated with other skills training programs.
