Abstract

The Mandalika Special Economic Zone (KEK) is key to Indonesia's economic growth. Located in southern Lombok Island, it became a Tourism SEZ via Government Regulation Number 52 of 2014. However, infrastructure development in Mandalika SEZ faces challenges, notably low investment returns. Choosing the right roads is crucial, requiring effective decision-making to attract investors and promote regional development in Central Lombok. This research used literature review and data collection through interviews and questionnaires to assess road development criteria. The Analytic Network Process (ANP) and TOPSIS methods prioritized infrastructure development. Four key criteria were identified: Tourism Infrastructure, Costs, Investor Interest, and Average Daily Traffic. The study ranks road segments for Mandalika SEZ, with the Circuit's Southern Ring Road (P5 - I1) as the top priority. This MCDA-derived prioritization provides actionable insights for policymakers and investors, enhancing strategic infrastructure investments to boost economic impact and support sustainable tourism growth. The findings validate the integration of ANP and TOPSIS in regional development planning.

Abstract

Indonesia has three main economic sectors: the state, the private sector, and cooperatives, which work together to create a strong economy. Cooperatives play a role in enhancing the welfare of their members and balancing capitalism while focusing on improving farmers' incomes. The performance of cooperatives needs improvement through both financial and non-financial measures. Member satisfaction affects the image of the cooperative, which in turn increases participation and loyalty, influenced by characteristics such as age and education. This study uses a survey method to evaluate service performance and measure member satisfaction in the Karya Mekar Farmers' Cooperative, Selajambe Village, Kuningan Regency, from October to December 2024. The data used consists of primary data obtained through interviews and questionnaires, as well as secondary data from management reports, Annual Member Meetings, and related agencies, which includes information on the number of members, cooperative development, and organizational structure. The analysis of service quality performance employs the IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) method, which assesses the importance and performance levels of service attributes based on five characteristics. Measurement is conducted using a five-point scale (Likert scale) that describes attitudes such as agreement-disagreement, satisfaction-dissatisfaction, and good-bad. The level of member satisfaction in the cooperative is analyzed using the CSI and SERVQUAL methods. SERVQUAL assesses both the level of expectations and actual performance/perception, while CSI is used to measure the percentage of member satisfaction levels.

Abstract

Tempoyak is a traditional durian-based fermented product widely consumed in Indonesia and Malaysia. The spontaneous fermentation process is dominated by Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB), mainly Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus fermentum, and Pediococcus spp., which contribute to its flavor, aroma, and functional properties. While tempoyak has been consumed for generations, research on its nutritional composition, probiotic potential, and health benefits remains limited. This review summarizes tempoyak's nutritional composition, bioactive compound content, and probiotic effects, particularly its impact on gut microbiota balance, glucose metabolism, inflammation reduction, and lipid metabolism. We found that tempoyak fermentation increases acidity, decreases sugar content, and enriches bioactive metabolites L. plantarum and P. acidilactici strains in tempoyak exhibit high resistance to stomach acid and bile salts, strong adhesion to intestinal cells, and significant antioxidant and probiotic activities. These properties suggest tempoyak supports gastrointestinal health, regulates blood glucose, lowers cholesterol, and potentially protects against cardiovascular disease. Tempoyak shows promise as a fermented functional food for metabolic and cardiovascular health, though further research is needed to confirm its mechanisms and applications in disease prevention.

Abstract

Water is a natural resource that is very important for the continuity of human life. Human needs for water include drinking, cooking, farming, washing, and so on. The Cimedang-Ciputrapangan service unit (SUP) has a very strategic role because this officer has the authority to regulate and distribute water to agricultural land. While the amount of water supply from upstream sometimes does not cover the needs of the work area, the ability to process and operate the irrigation network is very important to ensure that irrigation water can be distributed. The purpose of the Merjan DI Operation and Maintenance Performance Analysis is to provide useful input or information and provide an overview and solutions to problems that occur at the irrigation network level. The method utilized is qualitative, focusing on in-depth communication; however, it lacks specific details regarding data collection and analysis techniques. The analysis reveals that, despite an effective irrigation network, there is an 84% staffing shortage among the management personnel, indicating a significant need for improvement in operational capacity. The research findings are clearly stated, outlining the condition of the irrigation network and its ability to meet rainfall and irrigation needs.
